“My only regret is not having come here before. The food was delicious and portions are very generous. Taking two toddlers out to a restaurant can be a pain, even when they behave decently but Coral Gables has an environment where we can stretch out, take our time, and still get to eat. On top of that the food is delicious.”

Also, the Grand Room has amazing interior design. They serve non-alcoholic beer. It an excellent—often overlooked—East Lansing dinning experience.”

“Went here for a night out in the beautiful EL and was served by Ella. She went above and beyond by continually providing prompt service always with a smile on her face. Even when my close colleague was lying on the floor she continued to provide great assistance by gathering both waters and mozzarella sticks (10/10) for him. “I stopped in for the first time to treat myself for my bday because one of my friends recommended this place. The owners were so nice, the store had a nice relaxing feeling and everything in the cases looked fresh, pretty & delicious. I bought a few things which included a lemon pound cake cookie and wow it has to be one of the best lemon cookies I’ve ever had! I’m glad I stopped in and recommend you stop in sometime too. Long version:

Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) is one of my favorite dishes. Theirs is good, but not great, and I understand the other reviews saying that their food seems sugary. It’s a bit sweeter than any other Pad Kee Mao I have in memory.

I did love the spice level, I loved the atmosphere, but just wish the dish had more flavor and texture. It was slightly too rubbery, slightly too sweet, slightly expensive for the portion size, slightly lacking in flavor, and overall I would categorize it as a place I would go when I really want Thai but there aren’t many other options. But I would still enjoy it without raving about it.

I think my biggest negative is that the noodles felt somewhat overcooked, like in a wok that had seen too much food that day or that a previous dish had been overcooked in.

Definitely not 3/5. Definitely not 5/5. But worth trying.”

Multiple times I have ordered or placed large orders to be shared with family, volunteers and the Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan - ALL the food has been delicious. The muffins moist (I know how some love that word! haha). The staff has always been very friendly, including accommodating some special requests needed for my specific deliveries. I feel they even went above and beyond on my last order (08/31) and greatly appreciate it. I will definitely be returning for future partnership!”

“I spoke with the owner after picking up my order he helped me carry it to my car since logistically. It’s a little difficult to get to the restaurant, but really appreciated his efforts and all the help you gave me. As a pharmaceutical rep, I order a lot of lunches and sometimes I’m in a crunch and have my customers order something that is downtown pretty much a college bar where kids can walk to was a little difficult for me this morning, but the owner made it very, very convenient and I would definitely patronize his bar anytime. As for Jack, the bartender who I placed the order with he couldn’t have been more condescending and rude on the phone and he needs to change his habits Understanding that other people work there and it’s a livelihood for a lot of other people and every customer like me that you turn off like you did probably wouldn’t come back Thankfully, I had an opportunity to meet the owner who appeared and seemed to be a really great guy, and I wish him nothing but success for his business I wasn’t gonna tip Jack and shove it in his face but instead as I entered the bar there happen to be a nice young lady blonde hair, very bubbly personality and she kind of changed my mind about ripping Jack a new fanny. what Jack has forgotten in all his years of working in restaurants I’m sure is that the customer just wants a pleasant experience and nothing more good food and a pleasant experience that is not what you delivered for me on the phone today. I hope Jack sees this and changes his attitude because he’s definitely a negative force for your business.”

“Dear Mitten Raised Bakery, Catering/Wedding - We worked with Katie to cater/deliver 160 cupcakes and a 8" cake for our wedding. We would 150% recommend Mitten Raised! Katie (owner) was amazing from the moment I inquired about her services (about 6 months prior) to when she delivered them with her team. We ended up getting strawberry shortcake and lemon drops in a cake cup, and shoreline and a marbled decorative cupcakes, They were all delicious and our guests are still raving about them. We also ordered a simple white cake for us to cut, and honestly it was one of my favorites - it was just the right amount of sweetness, flavor, and texture! Katie was also very responsive and sweet throughout multiple emails. I had to change the count and flavors multiple times, and she responded instantly and always in a friendly manner. We've also been into Mitten Raised for separate sweet-treat occasions, and it never disappoints! Please consider catering through Mitten Raised! We love their baked goods, professionality, and if we were to ever have a large event again - I would book them in a heartbeat.”

They do free sodas on Tuesdays and half off slices on Wednesdays. There is nothing better than coming in on a Wednesday and seeing that they have both the Gyro and Baked Potato slices available. If I'm getting a full-sized specialty pizza, my go-to is the Chicken Shawarma. Great people, great food. Exactly the type of place I like to support.”

“I normally order from the Okemos location and they are wonderful. tonight I ordered from the Lansing location and was really disappointed. First they forgot one of my sides and the sides for both kids meals I ordered. Thankfully, I checked before driving 20 minutes home. Then when we got home, I had ordered two chicken quesadillas, and not only did both quesadillas lack chicken, they were burnt and too hard/ crunchy for my kids to eat.”

“The Starbucks on the MSU campus is a fantastic spot for students, faculty, and visitors alike! The atmosphere is always welcoming and busy. I happen to be a visitor but the staff here are incredibly friendly and efficient, even during busy hours.
As a local Realtor, I think Starbucks a great place to take a break from my busy schedule. Next time you’re on Campus, check it out. It’s between the MSU Spirit Shop and MSU Store, for a quick snack or a new MSU shirt. ”

“You really gotta try it!! This is one of my favorite restaurants in the US; every time I order, I got those juicy meat balls, ribs, and pork belly; you haven’t experienced bliss before, wait until they melt in your mouth.

They come in big portions at reasonable prices, the re are only two person working in the shop, but what they deliver is not something to dismiss.

I haven’t tried the English menu so I can’t really comment on that, but my friends like the rice noodles, fried rice, and sweet & sour chicken.”

“I was happy to find this restaurant after moving to Mid-michigan. I gave it four out of five starts as I am now having to figure out how to keep their system from retaining my credit card on file. I ordered online a few times and used it in their store. I am learning the Toast system retains your credit card. I couldn't remove it from their file yet. It looks like I might have to create an account, although they have my info already. This is for awareness as there are more restaurants using this program on their credit card screen reader. Not cool and there should be a way to prevent this from happening. I just want to pay for my meal. I don't want to be electronically stalked nor did I give permission for my credit card to stay on file. I will be providing this information on all restaurants that have kept my credit card without letting me know it will be retain when I pay for my food.”
