“Pastaio is a wonderful addition to the Grosse Pointe dining scene. The space feels warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for a relaxed night out that still feels a little special. The food was delicious, with so many great options that make it hard to choose just one favorite. Everything we ordered was beautifully prepared and full of flavor.

I also loved seeing a well-thought-out mocktail menu. It’s such a nice touch and something that feels very current and inclusive—whether you’re not drinking that night or just want something fun and intentional beyond water or soda.

One of my favorite features of the space is the semi-private area in the back. It’s ideal for hosting—intimate enough to feel special, but still connected to the energy of the restaurant. You can tell this is a place designed with gathering in mind, which I always appreciate.“

“Always amazing wings. Hot, cripsy, perfectly cooked, delicious and simple sauces. Burgers are seriously underrated, especially given the price.

The entire food menu is great, and accurately priced. One person can eat well for $10.

Service is always friendly. The staff works hard. Rachel treats us like family and we love her for it.

Ambiance is comfortable, low-key, unpretentious.

“Really liked the food BUT now that the pizza and calzones have been taken off the menu I doubt that my family of 6 will be eating there as often as before (8 visits in the past year). The removed items were really, really good. Sorry to see them gone.“

“We had a lovely time on the patio with our dog at this bar. We ordered margaritas (a jalapeño one and a guava one), guacamole appetizer, & a buffalo chicken wrap entree. Everything was delicious. My first jalapeño margarita had over 20 seeds in it and they were kind enough to remake it for me without any big deal about it. The service was fantastic and we truly enjoyed our time! “Great vibes with a vintage feel. Drinks were fun but not ~as~ good as I was expecting. Still very enjoyable. Food was spectacular, with the lobster bun exceeding my expectations. My partner said the burger was about as good as grey ghost’s (iykyk). Chicken bites were also very yummy. The solid Alaska was a fun ending of the night. Price range was reasonable too! We had 4 drinks total with 3 things to eat and it came to $99 before tip. Overall excited to come back!“

The food was excellent on our first visit, but our most recent dining experience left a lot to be desired. I don't think we'll head back for a third.“

“Wonderful Coffee! The hand made syrups were probably the best I ever had. I tried two lattes, one with vanilla lavender and the other with honey cinnamon and they were great! I recommend both of them with oatmilk. The owner was super friendly with my party and I and we had a very nice conversation with her while she made our lattes. Down Under is only FOUR minutes away from the TCF, walking. There is NO reason to ever get Starbucks again while I am in Detroit for Youmacon. A definite must for all the con goers to give them a try!“

“The restaurant is a little smaller with a more intimate feel. We sat at a small high top table next to the bar and we couldn’t have asked for better service. Throughout the night, at least 6 different servers took care of us (sitting next to the bar, we were taken care of by the bartenders.) The food and drinks were amazing and the service was top notch. My boyfriend had the peach cocktail and then an old fashion with honey cinnamon syrup and I had the mule which all of the drinks were absolutely delicious. We both had the Steak frites which was cooked to perfection and the fries I just couldn’t get enough of. For dessert, we took home the banana pie dessert and the Dubai chocolate cheesecake special and let me just say, oh my goodness. Neither of us knew which one we liked better. We will definitely be back! Thank you for an amazing valentines dinner :)“

“Just got home and had a wonderful experience at Le Supreme to celebrate my remission from Leukemia. This wonderful French bistro was worth celebrating at. I had the mushroom tart, almond trout, and chocolate pots de creme. Will definitely return to indulge in more.“

“Second visit and both have been excellent. Great service and food. Last visit had sweet potatoes with chestnut puree, pomegranate, chorizo and lots of herbs. We have dined at all of the incarnations of this restaurant going back to the original Bronze Door in the 70s - today’s dinner was by far the best meal we have ever had there! We almost did not eat there tonight based on previous experiences but they are close to home and we wanted to dine early. So glad we did! Every dish we had was superb! “My friend and I had lunch at Coriander Kitchen and Farm yesterday 6/23. We came back because we enjoyed our first visit last year so much! However, at this visit the food was not so good. I ordered fish and chips and my fish was overcooked and the french fries were not hot. My friend ordered smelt which were awful and greasy which we sent back. We asked for lemon which never came to the table and our waiter seem to be the only one there and they were busy so I don't think we got the attention that we were due. I know this establishment can do better, so I will be going back. But yesterday's service and food were awful.“

“My friend took me to evening bar for the first time last night and it was a beautiful bar. Modern art deco decor and wonderful cocktails. Shiva was amazing. I had to decide between two cocktails and she described them both in detail that helped me make my decision. I decided on one and it was perfectly up my alley and just as she described. She was so friendly, quick, and attentive even with quite a few guests she was helping. 10/10 will definitely be back. Cocktails were perfectly balanced and had distinct flavors and profiles“
