“I have eaten here several times over the last few years, the food is always fresh, hot, and the portions are HUGE. The place is a "mom and pop". it's ran by the owners, a husband-and-wife team. Because it's just the two of them when it gets busy it takes them awhile to answer the phone and there could be as much as a 30–45-minute wait for your food. It's also carry out only. If you don't mind the no dine in option or the wait, this will probably be one of the best Chinese food places you have eaten at in the downriver area.“

“I did a carry out. General Tso chicken...was terrible no white meat all dark (my fault I should of asked)The meat that was there was very tiny pieces with alot of thick hard batter over cooked some pieces was just all batter 1st and last time I will go.“

“We ordered the casserole dishes: Vegetable & Tofu Rice Noodles and Shredded Chicken Rice Noodles.
For appetizers, we had the Spicy Fried Potato.
We asked for everything to be extra hot, and the spice level was just right, bold but not overwhelming.
The flavors were well-balanced, and the noodles were cooked to perfection.
Portions were generous too, I even had enough leftovers for lunch the next day.

Total cost: $49 for two.

“The Dearborn, Michigan, restaurant has been a longtime fixture in our community, with employee longevity guaranteeing great service and consistent taste. On this visit, I had the signature lettuce wraps, which were plentiful and tasty. The pork egg rolls were still hot when they arrived at the table, and the dipping sauce had a bit of a horseradish-y tang to it. My chicken fried rice entree was large and had great flavor, and all three dishes were fresh. Dan, the manager, came to my table to check on our order and he was most gracious and friendly. I'll be back again soon.

Dietary restrictions: Most of the menu is halal, which is important in the Dearborn, Michigan, market.“

“We have dined for breakfast on various occasions. The tastes of the foods was amazing. The presentation of the plates was breath taking, absolutely beautiful. The only shortfall we found in the restaurant was the BLINDING sun on the East side windows. A good set of adjustable blinds would be a welcomed addition on those East side windows. All in all, the food was so good and so hot, the presentation was beautifully displayed and the staff were friendly and well experienced. We will come back and recommend restaurant to others.“

“This is our family's absolute favorite Chinese restaurant. They give you a very large portions of their super delicious food at a reasonable rate. And I'm not embellishing, I literally don't have to cook for the next 2 days when we get food from here. The employees especially the gentleman that always answers the phone and cashes you out are so friendly! Plus they have cool live plants and some fish tanks also atmosphere while you're waiting since it's not a dine in restaurant. Keep up the wonderful work New Hong Kong Inn and staff!“

“I have been a customer and have enjoyed delicious meals since it opened in 1985. We had moved away 20 years ago and whenever we came back to visit we would try to go to Shin Shin whenever possible. Staff have always been very friendly and I can honestly say I have never been disappointed in a meal. Last night my husband and I had a dinner date there. We were not disappointed. “Their food is very good place used to be around on Michigan avenue they close for a while after the grandparents passed. But the grandchildren open it back up using the same recipes in the food and quality is just the same. Smaller building there for less or lack of an atmosphere but the service is excellent and so is the food quick service too. Usually a little bit of a wait but that's just cuz they're busy because their quality is so good

“Wonderful experience. Walked in and there was no wait-- we were sat right away. Just as we sat down, our kids already had waters and crowns! The staff here is awesome. And then to top it off, food hits the spot. I had been looking forward to some ramen all day, and Johnny's did not disappoint. We ordered the Chicken Bao, Pork Gyoza, Tonkotsu, Shoyu. “I've been going here since I was a kid, I am 28 now. The food is cooked very well, not too salty. The almond chicken is my favorite, but the noodles and other dishes are fantastic also. They have the best jumbo egg rolls compared to any other restaurant. Try the Hot and Sour soup!“

“Small Chinese restaurant that no longer allows dining in so it is strictly take out now. I have been coming to this place for many years, but there has been ownership turnover. However, the food still seems to be consistently very good. My favorites are sesame chicken and spicy noodles. They have a good selection of egg rolls such as pork, chicken, etc. and they are of good quality and good taste.“

Surprised when eating inside no plates or silverware. Everything brought out in to go containers that's okay. Absolutely fantastic Delicious Scallion Pancakes not found in many places. The quart of Spot packed full was good except broth zero flavor like water. Chicken Egg Foo Young nothing like ever had weird crunchy patties with very small amount of gravy. The very good Rice and a mega amount. Egg Roll spot on Wonderful. The bad absolutely worse ever Pupu Platter Chicken Wings dry, Crab Rangoon Yuk, Shrimp heavy batter couldn't taste Shrimp. Ribs just ok, Spring Rolls a winner and what they call Teriyaki Beef I know as Balamaki was great. I'm willing to give them another chance to change my 3 star rating. Great effort by cook just not up to par with dozen other Chinese restaurants in the area.“

“This is my first visit to Mandarin Kitchen. I ordered #4 almond chicken combination with wonton soup and egg roll and hot tea. The almond chicken was pretty good topped with brown gravy. Wonton soup and egg roll was nice and hot and (egg roll was) crispy. 4 and 1/2 stars.“

“Never been here before. I was sick with a stomach flu so I didn’t feel like anything heavy or overly flavourful. I ordered the wonton soup with egg noodles. When I entered into the place, it looked clean and the food from the kitchen smelled good. Staff greeted me immediately and were very kind. I only ordered shrimp fried rice because I didn’t want to be disappointed.

My fried rice was perfect. The rice was a tad bit chewy but it had a great flavor which tells me it was made in a well seasoned wok. The shrimp actually had a little flavor to them. Most places the shrimp just taste boiled. I love egg foo young so I’ll be back to try that next time“

“The lady who takes orders is so nice and speaks Spanish as well, I remember I came in there with my dad to order and she gave me a free piece of chicken while I waited for my food. I came here to order again with my dad and she gave us a free coke with our order she was so nice, the food also taste so good and they dont take long to make your order, 10/10“
