“We were here for dinner over the weekend and everything about this place was phenomenal we tried multiple things off of the to share or not portion of the menu and loved every bit of it. The whole grilled fish our waitress mentioned rotates depending on what is available fresh and it was cooked to Perfection and probably our favorite thing all weekend. The cocktail menu is unique and everything that we had the opportunity to try was delicious I highly recommend doing the cocktail flight to anybody who doesn't have a favorite spirit. Staff was incredibly friendly and knew what they were talking about if you had questions. To those looking at going here reservations are a must!!!! Great atmosphere as well“

“We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. No matter what plans you have this is the spot to be! A huge thanks to Lake and Irving for all they did for us and a massive thank you to Chris the chef! “This place has been in my list of places to try for some time now. Happened to find myself in the area, and decided to go and try it. Servers are amazing! They know their menu, and are glad to give any recommendations. They recommended their Tex-Mex Breakfast Burrito, and it was fantastic! I will definitely eat here again!“

“Known for their “Jucy Lucy” which are 2 Patties with cheese cooked inside. My family that lives here likes the Jucy Lucy and especially the fries from here. During the summer they say there are long lines out the door. We can here in December and it was pretty busy for a week night. They only accept cash or checks, no card. We were lucky and got seated quickly, service was also quick and I asked for a beer that goes well with it. My sister in law got a chicken sandwich and I put her lettuce in my Jucy Lucy. Beware to not bite into it quickly because the cheese squirts out. Every bite I took the cheese indeed came out and burned me. Their fries are really good. I opted to keep the pickles and onions in the burger which I enjoyed. It was nice inside and they still had Christmas decorations making it feel like a Christmas bar. “We recently had dinner for 9 on a Friday night to celebrate my Mom's 80th birthday and our godfather's 90th. We brought along a menu that we had from the 1960's to show staff . . . prices have changed, but not much else except the carpet, which is as it should be . . . quality is quality! As my Mom noted, we had a DINING experience; we were not just quickly and mindlessly served. Because of that, us younger-fold will be back to JAX to enjoy that experience. But for one night, the JAX staff and owners helped our parents and godfather celebrate old times and again enjoy a "night out on the town" they will not soon forget! “I have not been there yet, but it sounds interesting, and I am very intrigued by the Dog menu. I think that is the cutest idea! The prices aren't as high as I assumed. The dog gets a 3 course meal, with different choices & ranging from $13 to $26.00 for all. The drinks also seem very unique, and I love all the effort they have put into this place. Their menu is large as well, plus they have specials & happy hour!“

In 2021 we could not go out for steak due to covid. Sample room had a take and bake meal with clear instructions. It was a great meal with baby steaks and veggies etc. But since that day I am not afraid to cook steak because of the precise instructions. They gave me what I needed.

It's now 2024 and I rock at cooking steak.

“I have eaten here couple times and thr good is great. Love the farm to table food. I am a big person on fresh quality and not prepackaged foods and this place is amazing for the food. Both times I was there around brunch on a Saturday and the breakfast menu was really good both times. I got a breakfast bowl with carnitas meat and it was amazing. Lots of flavor, texture, color in the bowl from crispy potatoes to delicious carnitas to a smooth and silky and cooked perfectly. The pickled stuff in it was different and a great contrast to the other parts. The micro greens are a current favorite to added nutritional boost and getting these on both plates here was awesome. The bowl was a lot of food added meat made it right amount for me, the added meat not necessary but highly recommend.
The eggs benedict was a different take. It is one of my favorite breakfast menu items. This take I could appreciate the concept but it was a 4 star for me. I really liked the cornbread that you can tell is fres and made in house if not at least near by. That was a great variant that I may have to acquire when I make it at home. The ham was delicious, it said maple cured and we use only pure at home no maple flavored but the maple flavor I was hoping for more of a pop from, maybe using a little maple syrup in the hollandaise sauce? Anyway the eggs were perfect and topped with micro greens as well. The hollandaise was, well not enough, or jot enough of a flavor, it was minimal and really felt like an after thought rather than a main focus which when ordering a Benedict the 3 things are required, a great hollandaise that is fore front, a take on ham, and a base. They had 2 of 3 spot on. Thus I would say 4 out of 5 for it great meal still don't get me wrong but could have used a touch more hollandaise with a bit more of a flavor or focus on that aspect. Great place will be back. Also like how they jave some fresh produce, baked goods, and farm fresh meats in coolers there.“

“Lost my comment. Try again. On May 19th a group of family members went to the Bloomington Culvers. We were celebrating my grandsons grade school concert. I was unable to go up front to order and my son asked if someone could help me. Jose (spelling) I believe was the night manager. He came back to my table and took my order. He was so gracious and kind. I so appreciated his help. I didn't have the right walker and it would have been difficult without help to go up front. I can't thank him enough. It is so nice to go to a restaurant and know everyone is so friendly and willing to make your experience a good one. Thank you Don and Misty for such a wonderful crew. “The food was delicious and our waiter Ivan was great! The menu offers a lot of choices from salads, soups, sandwiches, burgers, and much more. There's a nice cocktail menu, too. There's something for everyone. The Rueban sandwich with Parmigian fries the Rachel sandwich was delicious! We treated ourselves to desert. The homemade bread pudding and turtle cheescake...yum!!

Having tried basically every tasting menu in town, the food at Bûcheron easily ranks at the very top. The bar is a perfect spot to drop in for a night cap and dessert, too. We’ve enjoyed two memorable dinners and several pop-ins for drinks and sweets and each time service has been knowledgeable and attentive and plates have been smart and well-balanced. “Place has potential. Food is definitely solid. Not going to blow you away but it’s good. Smash burger could use more seasoning but loved the onions and meat skirt. Dry rub wings were lacking in flavor, needed a lot more seasoning. My friend got the Buffalo wings and loved the sauce on those. No home made ranch which is disappointing. Cheese curds are a small portion and are just frozen not hand breaded. Drinks are pretty spendy if you are not there for happy hour. Great spot before a wild game or other Xcel events but parking isn’t ideal and food isn’t good enough to seek out any other night. Place was dead on a Friday night.“

“There was a woman working last night, she helped my friends and I charge our phone so we could order an Uber from the concert we watched. (There was an insane amount of people. Many could have asked, she could have rejected but didn’t.) She offered us refreshments in the meantime of the phone to charge, and I just honestly couldn’t be any more grateful. Our server Adam was one of the best servers I’ve ever had, was fun to talk to, checked in enough, and just an overall great guy to have as a server. Food was good, I think we each got something he suggested and all loved the food plus had some to take home. Drinks were just as good, Adam was knowledgeable on them and suggested a good local brew as well. The vibe of the place and setup was sick! They just started putting up Christmas decorations as well and it’s honestly impressive. Definitely was a great pick for my bday and we will absolutely be back! Highly recommend stopping in!“
