“The $5 cookie isn't worth it? Well maybe as a gift I usually just bake my chocolate chip cookies from the store in my oven and they're just as good. But if you like fancy weird cookies they change their cookies all the time now that's kind of cool and for a gift people do appreciate getting them. But for a cookie you'll have to take out a mortgage I think a box of cookies is probably like 30 bucks or something like that I only got one cookie and it was like $4 or something. But like I said for a gift for your employees, for a friend, someone that's sick, it is a really nice gift to give and to receive. So I recommend it for this purpose not because you're craving a cookie cuz that'll be an expensive crave.

Parking: It's a little strip mall with like four other shops You park right out front and just walk right in.“

“The food is almost always great. Every once in a while, you get a subpar dish or item, but it's very rare. Their fries are freakin awesome, just the right amount of salt and pepper seasoning. They have one of the top three pancakes out there... you don't even need syrup or butter they're so good.
Service can be hit or miss, this last time was fantastic... outstanding service.
The atmosphere is generally okay, nothing special... though it is almost always quiet, which is great.“

“The best cookie shop in all of downtown. They are always so flipping soft and sweet (well the ones i choose are) and it's really hard to have just one. My favorites are the chocolate chip and the double chocolate sea salt. Delicious. And they are a staple of downtown, I remember coming here in the late 90s when I was still in high school, they know what they're doing.

Parking: Plenty of parking, but its all paid. Its cheaper if you can find street parking.“

“I want to thank the staff at this Perkins for their efficient waiters and supporting members. I called two weeks prior to set up an area for 20 people. My husband had passed and we were having a family breakfast before everyone left to return to their homes. They kindly had it set up when we got there. The waiter, Joel, did an amazing job of taking care of us. With the help of two other waiters we were well taken care of by them. They served the kids first, which all the parents appreciated very much. I told Joel I wanted the check. He then helped me navigate through the card machine. He asked me what this celebration was for, Birthday, anniversary? I told him no, it was for a Celebration of my husband life. Said he was sorry for my loss and gave me a hug. “Found them at the Kingfield Farmers’ Market and saw a seeded loaf. Made them listen to my story of enjoying something similar visiting my uncle in Sonoma County years ago. They were very patient with me and my ramblings. Bought the loaf, brought it home, and immediately made some toast. It was perfect. The best I’ve had since all those years ago having breakfast in my uncle’s kitchen. I’m so happy!!!!“

“Having lived in Paris for a while I'm a complete snob when it comes to French pastries, so take my review with a grain of salt.

I had a croissant and a raspberry bite. The croissant was well made. The layers and flakiness were good, and the flavor was above average for the metro, but I've certainly had better at other places. Though for a place that produces as much as they do I was very satisfied with the croissant.

The raspberry bite was good as well. The cream had the right amount of sweetness, and the raspberries were as fresh as one can get at this time of year.

I'll probably be coming back here sometime. It's almost certainly as good as you can get in Maple Grove.“

“I've only ever had the macarons here and I've gotten the variety pack of 10 each time. They are AMAZING!! Flaky, a light crisp, lots of flavor. Delicious!!!! My only critique is that I wish (!!) that you knew the flavor you're eating. Just a little flavor card or on the bottom of the box or something....some of them you can tell right off what the flavor is and then some of them you can't quite discern. I keep coming back to the macarons, but I do have my eye on a few other things that I will try as well!“

“What’s up with the Coon Rapids Costco? They now check your membership card when entering and once again (in-person) when using self checkout. You also need your membership card to start checking out. I guess I wouldn’t be upset about it if I was treated with an once of respect. The person assigned to checking membership cards was talking to another member and we proceeded to the checkout only to be rudely called back to her position. Is this a new policy and if so maybe a little communication to your members.“
