“The $5 cookie isn't worth it? Well maybe as a gift I usually just bake my chocolate chip cookies from the store in my oven and they're just as good. But if you like fancy weird cookies they change their cookies all the time now that's kind of cool and for a gift people do appreciate getting them. But for a cookie you'll have to take out a mortgage I think a box of cookies is probably like 30 bucks or something like that I only got one cookie and it was like $4 or something. But like I said for a gift for your employees, for a friend, someone that's sick, it is a really nice gift to give and to receive. So I recommend it for this purpose not because you're craving a cookie cuz that'll be an expensive crave.
Parking: It's a little strip mall with like four other shops You park right out front and just walk right in.“

“The best bakery in the whole world.
As one of the best bakeries in the whole world, and one that my family has loved for years, it was a no brainer to order from them when it came to provide food for my grandma's funeral.
I remember walking in to pick up our (very large) order and realizing that I had the wrong pick up time. The pastries were far from ready. Given the grief of the day, I am confident I wasn't a pleasant customer, and I'm confident I didn't take responsibility for my mistake. And yet, rather than send me on my way, the owner and her employees took basically every pastry they had on the shelving and gave it to me, likely at the expense of their current business and their current customers. They then helped me bring my order to my car, and when I offered to help them carry some boxes, the owner told me she didn't want me to get my suit dirty. She said she was sorry for my loss and then went back inside.
The pastries were a hit, but they wouldn't have been possible without Black Walnut's kindness. This review is a thank you and an apology. Thank you for your kindness. I am sorry I was so out of it.
Given the extremely high quality of their food and taste at a more than reasonable price, Black Walnut is an extremely easy bakery to fall in love with. Coupled with their kindness and warmth, there really is no place on Earth that compares.“

“This is a great place. The owners are cool and fun to talk to. The baked goods are very high quality and affordable. A lot of other bakeries have stuff that tastes like bland butter mixed with sugar but this place has very good flavor. Not too sweet, high quality ingredients. They also sell food such as sambusas, ful and tibbs which are fresh and tasty! The coffee is good too“

“Geshmak! Idk if this bakery is Jewish, but it definitely reminds me of my fav bakery in NY. Absolutely delicious. I never thought I’d find such an amazing gf bakery. The apple turnovers are probably my favorite! Buttery, flaky and so flavorful. We are beyond impressed and the staff were super nice. “I haven’t been but someone recently got me a Boston cream donut form here and half to say it was the best Boston cream filled donut Ive had. The cream was perfection. Boston cream tends to be too watery and not custardy enough. This was great though. It was perfect thickness and it had strong vanilla flavor with the signature custard taste. The donut itself was solid and it had the right amount of chocolate frosting. Would recommend!!“

Great service from the host, server, and manager.
Food came out quickly and was prepared as requested. The tremendous 12 was still as good as I remembered.
Much better in all comparison to the previous location I used to visit.“

“I don't normally write reviews unless I get bad service. But I find this Perkins in Maple Grove MN to be Awesome. This is my families Perkins of choice passing by two others much closer Perkins just to go to the Maple Grove location. Our server Taylor was attentive, polite and very in tune to our groups needs. She is and example of what a waitress or waiter should be. The food was great and the building / bathroom cleanliness was expletory. My hats off to the manager and staff of the Maple Grove Perkins just south of 694 on Hemlock Lane.“

“Dropped my teen off for a nearby brunch and decided to stop by to check it out while in the neighborhood. The morning bun was the flakiest and most tasty I've ever had, and their Chai is incredible. “We ordered catering for a work event from here and was a HUGE hit! WE had 5 dozen cookies and 4 dozen bars, and at this point, even with only about 80 people, there's maybe a handful of each left and they will be gone before the end of the day. I will definitely order from them for personal and work events again. Andrea was so nice and helpful in getting us set up with such a large order and all of it was so good. The cookies are massive and soft and fresh and the pumpkin streusel bars were tender and flavorful. Really cannot express how happy we are with the service and quality.“

“I very rarely give five stars across the board for everything. But this place was wonderful. The food was good and priced appropriately. The service staff bright and engaging. And the atmosphere was just fun. And I do like that. There were all types of people welcome here. That made everyone feel included. When we were there, they were young and old, gay and straight, and everybody in between all getting along, enjoying delicious coffee and ice cream.“

We also had kids birthday cake from here this year and it was worth it. They nailed Blueberry cake with blueberry whipped cream. Cake had real blueberries and tasted like good blueberry cake. We gave inspiration pic for train themed cake and they nailed that too with details.

“Truly a Southside "jewel in the rough" when it comes to bakery treats from Mexico! Baked right here in Minneapolis, you can't get more authentic than what you'll find in rows on the shelves, packed with freshly baked muffins, rolls, pastries, donuts, cookies, and treats! On the corner of 28th & Nicollet ave. S., this has to be the Twin Cities BEST!!!! Try it for yourself, you'll be happy you did! “Great selection of baked goods, as well as breakfast and food options! They have such a large variety of treats. You can find yourself easily taking home a lot if not careful.
I'm not the biggest fan of the coffee, simply due to the limitations offered. There isn't really any speciality drinks offered, so if you're good with the expected kinds of options (i.e. espresso, mocha, tea, black, etc;) it should be no problem.“

“Delicious latte and double chocolate donut for under $10. You don't miss the dairy or gluten in any of their products. The donut was soft and moist with decadent chocolate frosting. Haven't tried the breads yet, I'll try to update later, but they definitely pass the squish test, springing right back just like a glutenful item. I also got myself a birthday cupcake :) vegan cream cheese frosting was amazing! You've got a try the savory monkey bread. Highly recommend“

For some reason their gift cards were not working online, so we went in the store to pick up and they were not working in store either.
We needed to pick up the cookies to deliver to our daughter for her birthday for her soccer team.
The manager on duty, let us take the cookies and trusted that I had the correct amount on the gift card.

“I’m so happy I found this place near my Airbnb! Grabbed a couple HUGE cookies for later, loved my breakfast sandwich with veggie sausage, the coffee is delicious, it’s so bright and cozy at the same time. I only wish I was staying in town longer to try all these breads.
