“Our Mother's Day brunch was wonderfulHazelwood was very gracious to us, considering we were 15 minutes late because of tons of traffic on 494. I had the Lobster Mac & Cheese. So yummy. We had 8 of us at our table, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The Brie cheese curds were amazing. The service was fantastic. I definitely recommend Hazelwood“

“We had a delightful time celebrating with family Friday evening. We have visited your restaurant from our homes in northeast Minneapolis and Bloomington several times over the last several years, and have enjoyed your classic and innovative menu which never disappoints. You are well worth the drive!“

“Very clean and nicely put together place! Immediately and the whole time we were there the man taking orders was friendly, silly and super helpful. Ended up finding out he was the owner. He was nothing less than amazing and a complete sweetheart. Now the food, price point is very fair, flavor is top notch! We tried 4 appetizers and would get them all again. Hush puppies, edamame(omg the flavor on these!) Calamari and the spring rolls. Then the main course, we got the $150 large family meal and combo A to include more shrimp and crab clusters. We mixed all 3 sauces and we were fully satisfied with out tasetbuds! Best crab broil hands down I've been to in the twin cities. We will be back! This place is a hidden gem and the owners energy matches their food, they take pride in what they serve and treated every customer the same. This place deserves all the recognition for a great dining experience and flavor.“

“Without a doubt, the best fish & chips we've had in the Mpls/St Paul area. Yes, better than The Anchor in Mpls. Hopefully, they'll offer all year. With the fine food was excellent service to match. Great bar team. Combine with fair prices and an excellent rewards program, you have a winner here.“

“We have never eaten at a restaurant like Legendary Spice. It was an interesting experience. Our waiter was very helpful directing us through the process. There is seriously so much food. The steamed dumplings and sesame balls were absolutely amazing. I ordered the Mushroom hot pot & my boyfriend ordered the spicy beef pot. His was definitely HOT, so not my thing, but he enjoyed it. You can make nearly unlimited choices in Chinese veggies & meats.“
“Do you love all things fish and seafood? Then head directly to Coastal Seafoods! They have the best fish counter in the Twin Cities, bar none, and the best staff as well. If the quality is questionable, they won't sell it. My haul yesterday included three kinds of fresh oysters, Dover sole, Chilean sea bass, various tinned fish, seafood, and pates, plus lobster rolls from their on-site cafe. You'll find any sundries you'll need to accompany your fabulous fish, including fresh herbs and spice blends. Need one-stop shopping and have a sweet tooth? Their freezer case has you covered for top-shelf desserts. Be sure to check out their daily discounts before you go -- Friday is Educators' Day, for example.“

“My husband and I enjoyed a delightful meal at The Blue Nile on a Monday afternoon. The place was quiet, but the food was fresh and delicious! We've eaten at many Ethiopian restaurants over the years in Saint Paul and Minneapolis, beginning with the first restaurant named The Blue Nile when it was on Lake and Lyndale (no relation). It's great to finally have a good Ethiopian restaurant that is outside of the Twin Cities! The food is presented attractively when you order the sampler, but more importantly, everything we ate was delicious. The Ethiopian honey wine was a perfect accompaniment, and we started the meal with two veggie and two beef sambusas, both of which were great. The owner is very friendly, and I have been recommending Blue Nile to colleagues, many of whom have told me how much they enjoyed their visit to this restaurant as well. We look forward to going back soon.“

“What an incredible dining experience! My wife and I have always cherished our visits to this restaurant, but celebrating our wedding anniversary there took it to a whole new level of excellence. I kicked off the meal with the Jalapeño Bacon Wrapped Scallops, which were simply outstanding. Meanwhile, my wife savored a sumptuous lobster tail, and together we indulged in the Crab Stuffed Atlantic Salmon—absolutely mind-blowing! The portions were generous, and every dish was bursting with flavor. The service was top-notch, the menu offerings abundant, and the wine and spirits selection impressive. We were even treated to a delightful surprise with some delectable cake at the end of our meal. If you're searching for the perfect spot to celebrate with your special someone, look no further than Porterhouse—it truly exceeded all our expectations. If I could, I'd tack on 3 more stars!“

“A friend and I visited on 4/20 and enjoyed the Carne Asada con Camarones, as well as margaritas. The drinks leaned a little sweet but they were fine margs. The food was phenomenal—hands down one of my favorite food experiences in Minneapolis. My friend said it was like a good home cooked meal; I have to agree. Filling, tasty, and comforting.“

“Met here for dinner on a weeknight. It's a good Vietnamese restaurant. Not sure if it is a must try place but a good spot if you're nearby. They are known for their egg rolls at the MN State Fair and Reader's Poll Award in 2022. Vibes & Aesthetics * A casual restaurant with lots of space! There is a private room that fits about 25 people. Might be a good spot if you're needing a space like that. Our Order * Vermicelli salad (egg roll) - I thought there was too many egg rolls on top. I also like my salad more wet (so more dressing) so I threw my egg roll sauce in. * Egg rolls - My friend ordered the egg rolls. If you don't know, Vietnamese egg rolls are larger and the wrap is a rice wrapper which makes it extra crunchy. * Cream cheese wontons - They seemed fried for a little longer than I'd like. They also have green onions in them so the flavor is quite strong. * Pho - My friend ordered the pho and liked it. It doesn't come out appetizing because there's a lot of cilantro floating at the top. After mixing, it was good! Service * We were well served. I did find something in my water and kindly asked for a new cup of water.“

“Highly recommend Jensen’s Food & Cocktails. Excellent service, outstanding food (steaks, seafood, burgers, salads) all very good. Delicious after dinner drinks too. Have dined here many times with clients, family & friends. Was there last night and had excellent service from Matt at the bar. Very reasonably priced filet mignon, baked potato, house salad, and those delicious popovers! Thanks Jensen’s for always creating great memories!“

“Sea Salt is one of the more unique and pleasant places I’ve been. The food is good (the bay shrimp tacos are my go-to), but the real magic here is sitting outdoors in the beauty of Minnehaha Park, tons of dogs, the birds chirping, an acoustic guitar guest, and the faint hiss of Minnehaha Falls just over the wall. Every time i come here, i think to myself that i need to do it more often.“

“The food is very tasty and for the price is about right for the size of the dishes. The service is not as quick, but they will treat you the best they can. There is not a parking lot (or at least I didn't see it)so street park it is. Definitely worth to give it a chance and try a good Ecuadorian food/experience ?“

“Let me first say, that it was a busy day and that I love the food. My companion ordered a hamburger, but when it came, it was rare, instead of the well done she asked for. It took about 10-15 minutes to catch the waitress's attention. (The waitress was very busy.) She immediately apologized and later came back with a well done burger. But by then the rest of us were done with our meals. I've been to Mallard's many times and this was the first time I really had an issue. I'm thinking it was just a fluke.“

“Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and seated by a friendly lady who exuded genuine hospitality. Our server, Terry was incredibly attentive and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We indulged in a feast of culinary delights, including the mouthwatering soup dumplings, tantalizing hot and sour dumplings, flavorful scalded chili handmade noodles, and perfectly crafted scallion pancakes. A special tip: don't miss out on trying them with the chili oil for an extra kick of flavor!Overall, our visit was nothing short of exceptional. From the ambiance to the service and, of course, the delectable dishes, this tea house exceeded all expectations. A definite must-visit for anyone in search of a memorable dining experience in Minneapolis.PS: the price is not label on the physical menu, but the scannable QR code have the price on it“

“We enjoyed every part of our dining experience at Momento last night. The employees are welcoming, knowledgeable and oozing with pride and excitement. We thoroughly enjoyed trying foods we've never had before and felt well informed by our server Kevin. We ordered three shareable plates: Meze, Brussels sprouts and peas & toast. We even left with a recommendation for breakfast in the morning. The colorful decor, including many plants and fresh herbs complimented the experience perfectly. We tried to tell everyone we met that night to come try it out as we might not make the 5 hour trip back for some time.“

“A solid 4.5. I plan to come back and try another dish and if the food is this good or better I might have to give them 5 stars. Food presentation was exceptional. Not crazy about the flavor nof the beef in my burrito, but everything else was very tasty and every dish I saw looked fantastic. Large servings. Clean facilities with some nice window seating. Hope to come back and check out the patio in a month or two.Vegetarian options: They have a vegetarian fajita plate that was fantastic l.“

“So glad we found this place! Beats driving to Cajun Deli from Woodbury. It's always nice and clean the owner is always so nice and professional. I love it! I usually order the fried shrimp and hush puppies, which are so good. But this time, we ordered garlic butter snow crabs. So good! Highly recommend!“

“JJ's is the best. You can get a load of fish for a decent price, and other options too if you dont like fish. I get a teriyaki chicken bowl which is great and the steamed chicken buns are the best I've had! They always make the order accurately and are friendly and accomodating!“

“Sidewalk Kitchen is a name that does not seem obvious to have Chinese cuisine. I think they are a solid takeout and eat in when I am crabing some Chinese food. A friend of mine from China recommended this spot. She said that it had options closer to what she would order in China, so it was more authentic to her. One day, I ordered some garlic coated string beans with white rice, an order of fried chicken wings, and #76. Szechuan Spicy Diced Chicken with fried rice. The service was decent and attenive, the food was flavorful, and the portions allowed us to have seconds. For two, the bill was also reasonable. When we asked for some soy sauce and hot oil, the flavor of the food definitely was enhanced. The food tasted fresh and appeared to be fresh off the press, so that makes me happy to know that things move quickly through this place and they have a steady flow of patrons in the University of Minnesota area.“

“I've been grabbing walleye sandwiches and fries from Mac's for over ten years now, and the product is delicious every time. Awesome food, superb service. The location is small and can't fit or seat many people, so plan to take-out or sit outside. You don't go to Mac's for the atmosphere; you go there for the superb fish & chips (and delish taffy).“

“Found this spot 2 years ago and we (coworkers) have been going regularly for lunch ever since. We've tried a few things off the menu, but the main thing we're ordering is the beef noodle soup "pho". IMHO best 'dark' broth pho in the area! --probably because there isn't any other spots within a 5min drive from our work place. I mean we have tried other spots further, but nothing has beat this spot in terms of flavor. There's probably 2 that are close, but none has us wanting to go back for more. Service-wise you can expect the expected. On busy days, service is slow. You can also expect that sometimes food will take 15+minutes. It's also possible you might have to grab more napkins on your own if you need more. It's also possible you might have to ask for more water as well. What I'm saying is, the service is there. They're all friendly and nice people. Do be warned though, you might hear the aunty be demanding sometimes to new workers. The place is nice. Situated between a small pet store and a sports store. I don't think any of the tables are wobbly, but don't blame me if there is, personally, we've only really sat in a few booths and tables. They've got plenty of tables. I don't recall any music, but I do recall just a slideshow of their menu on repeat. Just sneaking in my 'ambiance' piece. Anyways, pro tip: if you're trying to grab a quick lunch and dine-in, you can order ahead of time on the phone. Another pro tip: during lunch hours, lunch special portion is a good option if you're not able to eat a whole entree by yourself. So if you see something you want and it's on the lunch special, give it a go. Just some info on things I've tried: Khao Soy is one of the best I've had in the Cities, unless someone can point me to a better spot. Chicken Lettuce Wrap is . Spicy chicken wing is hit or miss, but when it hits, it's . Don't expect the Pad Kra Pow to be like your typical Thai restaurant - this one is a light stir fried version without the fried egg and without the minced meat. Rah Nah is real good. Fried rice is . I highly recommend this spot. Note* get your spice levels correctly. Be warned, mild can be spicy.“

“My favorite dim sum place-only available early on weekends but it's my absolute favorite. The dishes range from small to large. Small being less costly and large being more expensive. This is my dim sum fix the ingredients are so tasty and refreshing. They have a about 30 plates worth of dim sum here. My favorite is their congee (they have 3 types), taro cake, lava bun, and the siu mai is crazy juicy good. The service is pretty nice and speedy too. I like the ambience as well. It's very clean but it can get busy ofc cause it's great! :D The waiters are super attentive and great at getting your order. I love the competency and speed in which they fulfill your order by crossing off things. I will say sometimes the water gets missed but it makes sense cause they're super busy. There is this one favorite waiter who kind of recognizes me as I eat there a lot. She's honestly great, and super sweet. Thanks Sister!“

“The amount of lobster per roll is comparable to other places in the area. The lobster was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Is it expensive? Of course but you’re at the mall of america getting lobster. It is equally as expensive as any other lobster places in Minnesota.“

“Food was fresh and hot at the Maplewood location. The only thing that was not good Surprisingly, the biscuit's. They were overcooked and there was no visible garlic butter sauce on it. I realize what happened to the biscuits because I made the same mistake at home. I believe that the chef cooked them, put the sauce on them and put them in the warmer so that they don't have to keep making fresh biscuits and this is what caused the garlic butter sauce to dry up. I know this for a fact. I did the same thing and they look and taste dry. I was disappointed that I was not able to enjoy the Delicious, buttery biscuits like I remember them with my delicious shrimps because of the problem with the biscuits. But overall the service was goodParking: There is a decent amount of parking space, but if it was a busy night I would say you would have a problem with finding a spot to park unless you park across the street in the mall parking lot“
