“You can never go wrong with a meal at Jack Stack Barbecue. It is consistently delicious, coupled with wonderful service and fair pricing. Our server, Michael, provided the excellent service Jack Stack is well known for. He was attentive but not intrusive. Additionally our order was spot. Our family favorites will always include the burnt ends and the ribs. There are several sides to pick from but you can't go wrong with the beans and cold slaw. This is a restaurant you can count on for a delicious meal, easy atmosphere and excellent service!“

“Jack Stack - Martin City is now my favorite of their locations around Kansas City. They still have the original vibe which drove this brand's popularity. The staff were super welcoming and friendly. Our service was great with just the right amount of attention from everyone. The food was delicious, hot and fresh! The wings were outstanding and the onion rings were hot and the best I've ever had...yes my new favorite location for Barbecue in Kansas City!“

“Got the taste of Kansas City and it was really good. In that platter comes pulled pork, half a chicken, brisket, and beef ribs. The brisket was disappointing but the rest of it was amazing. The sides we got was cheesy corn, potato salad, and beans. The potato salad was not good at all, the rest was really good. Ordered a side of sausage medallions and burt ends. Both were a bit disappointing with the burt ends being just ok. I also ordered a grill cheese kids meal with fries. The fries were good, the grill cheese was good. The grilled cheese is just American cheese and white bread so perfect for kids. The BBQ sauce was really good. I will definitely be ordering from them again just not certain things like the potato salad.“

“We visited Meat Mitch back in December and unfortunately had a disappointing experience, which led me to leave a negative Google review at the time. Shortly afterward, manager Becca Stout personally reached out, apologized, and provided us with a gift card, inviting us to return and give them another chance. I’m very glad we did. Our recent visit was excellent — the food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the overall experience was outstanding. Becca’s professionalism and commitment to customer service truly made a difference, and we appreciate the effort the team made to turn things around. We look forward to coming back again.“

“Six of us had dinner here yesterday and we were too busy enjoying the food and company to take photos. We did the meal family style to taste different dishes. What we ordered (we are not big in to lot of meat); Appetizers: Rangoons, 2xTiger Cry Beef and Papaya salad Drinks: Bottle of wine and cocktails Main dishes: Drunk noodle, Crab fried rice, Burnt end red curry, Seafood curry (cannot recall name), White rice (came along) Dessert: Bread pudding with ice cream Everything was so delicious! Cannot wait to go back.“

“Been awhile since been back to BB'S. Used to be a monthly must stop back in tge day for the Blues a Q. Lindsay Shannon was the best!!New ownership and patio renovations wanted to go back to check it out. 3 headed out for lunch on a Thursday. WOW. 2 of us had The Daily Special Texas Sweet (Pulled Pork, Scimecas Italian Sausage, Onion Straws piked high on huge bun. 1 SIDE. I had some green beans son had some of the huge famous beer battered potato wedges. Hot, fresh, tasty for $11.99. Both of us took decent amount home as well. Been too long and we'll be headed back soon. Staff was amazing and accomodating!! Do yourself a favor and check out this longtime BBQ staple. Hat Tipped BB's...“

“Service was great. To no fault of their own, the city water line broke shutting down every restaurant. We were able to order lbs of meat to take home 👍. atmosphere was great since we were the only ones in there 👍. Food seemed to lack real smoked flavor, but still tasted good and juicy. I guess most of the flavor is in the BBQ sauce.“

“We stopped in during our trip to see family for the holidays. The food is AMAZING, the portions are huge, the prices are on par and the staff is incredibly friendly…great service all around! We tried a little of everything and it all exceeded expectations. HIGHLY recommend and we will definitely be back! 🤩“

“Love Longhorn! The waitress was amazing. I was a little disappointed with my steak. It was so peppery that I almost couldn't eat it and my mom only made it through a few bites. Every cook is different, this one was generous with the pepper!“

“Visited on June 20. The food was awesome, steaks cooked to perfection & my grilled chicken on the Barbie was melt in your mouth. Our server was Kris B & he did a great job. Very attentive & polite. He convinced me the sweet tea was good & he was spot on. ( I’m a southern girl & love my sweet tea).“

“Everything is wonderful! Food was good. The atmosphere was good and my waitress was pleasurable to be around! She was kind efficient and seemed to care. The only downside of my visit was the Hostess later, menus down upside down And was not either trained or maybe she didn’t care about her job but menus and silverware Should be placed on the table facing the Customer. OK I will stop being a Karen, but I do love this place and look forward to coming back.“

“They are rude and yell at you just because but dont let that freak you out Karen...If your from Texas chances are you not gonna like this joint. But you get so much for your money. This place contributes to the waistline of the locals. Some big people are in this fly-over town. The red bbq sauce SUCKS they would hang you in Texas for serving that mess. Overall they do a pretty good job!“

“Found myself in Grandview working a service call on an extremely cold Saturday morning. After I got that furnace fixed I found this awesome spot for BBQ! Highly recommend making the time to stop in, ribs were perfect tender, pulled pork was delicious and not smothered in sauce, I love the beans again flavor of the ingredients not over powered by sauce. 💯“
