“The Crossing Restaurant did a remarkable job the other evening when we dined there. We had impeccable service and outstanding food. I loved being able to do the four course meal with some of the specials. It was wonderful to see the dining room full in this well-established restaurant in the heart of Clayton. I remember being wowwed when I first dined at The Crossing 25 years ago and it is still just as fabulous! We cannot wait to return.“

“Returned after a couple of years. I think it's still a good place for a casual meal, certainly we spent a third of normal. The food was good. The bread remains a standout. My Aperol Spritz was awesome! Our server was very attentive with a bright smile and happy attitude. We were seated at the old Sardella side which brought back nostalgic memories. We don't eat nearly as much as we used to, appetizers have to be shared or none, if we're having salad. During our meal a lady came to our table with a bowl of brussels sprouts. She said it was something free from the kitchen for us to try. We found it strange that no other table got one. Brussel sprouts aren't something we eat or ever order. She left before we could speak. We felt bad because it was a very gracious gesture wasted on us. We did taste one. They were very good, if you like them and they don't tear up you GI system.“

“I was in the area looking for a nice meal for lunch at work. I stumbled across Sauce on the Side. I ordered one of the choices of Calzone. Later, after I bit into the sandwich for the first time, I knew it was a hit. Everything about it was perfect. I also ordered a salad. OMG... lettuce and meat everywhere throughout the salad. It was fresh and quite tasty. I was so satisfied after eating my lunch that I know I'll be visiting Sauce on the Side again and again.“

The only complaint is I can’t have them on Sunday! :( We’ve tried to go back to other sandwich shops on a Sunday and it never compares to Gioia’s. You’ve raised the bar so much, now everyone else is a disappointment.“

“Food is amazing, atmosphere is very nice, service staff are wonderful! Recommend the asparagus & prosciutto, pistachio goat cheese, bruschetta, their antipasti plates are all good! Also the house mixed greens is fresh and delicious, and they have amazing pastas and entrees. Our favorites are the Ragu alla Bolognese, fettuccine tres amici, tortellini with cream, the salmon is the best ever, and their steaks are fantastic. And you have to have an espresso martini. Definitely recommend. Sit on the patio if it’s nice out, it’s beautiful.“

“Robin and I ate here Friday night (5/3). We were immediately seated outdoors in the lovely courtyard, flanked by a large, ivy covered wall. Every bite we had from the salad, Brussels Sprouts, Burrata, Wild Mushroom Risotto, and their award winning Amaretto Pie was better than the last. “We were in St Peter’s Mo. and were going to go to Olive Garden for my Wife’s birthday, when I told our clerk at the hotel she said she would recommend the Pasta House over the Olive Garden. “I used live in Mississippi and I would drive up from Mississippi just to get Faraci pizza and I liked all of their pizzas and salad. All of Faraci’s food on their menu was yummy. That I live in the lake of the Ozarks it’s a lot closer for me and I would drive up and order pizzas And bring them back. The Faraci special, the hamburger bacon, and the pepperoni and pineapple or my favorites but I will eat just about anything from that restaurant. Prices are reasonable and if you don’t think they are, that’s not faraci fault , that’s is JB fault.“

“This was my first visit to Jet pizza. I ordered via phone with their AI system. That's was very easy process. I was looking for a thicker crust and they had hand tossed and Detroit style crust. I got the hand tossed, wish I would have got the Detroit style. It looked better in the pictures on the menu.
Once I got there I was greeted quickly. My pizza was ready within a few minutes of my arrival. The guy I dealt with was very helpful.
After I got the pizza home it was just ok. Now that's me, there was nothing wrong. Other than I personally didn't care for it. I will try it again. I want to try their Detroit style crust.“

“When I walked in, I realized the place was packed, but we were hoping the wait wasn't too long, they quoted 45 minutes, which was a little too long for us. There was 5 of us and we decided to sit at the bar. And I'm sure glad we did. We had a bartender, I forgot her name, but she had purple hair, she was the absolute best. Not only did she make amazing drinks, she made sure our food came out right and hot. She also entertained us the whole time we were there, by engaging in conversations. You don't see that very much these days. If there was a word better than perfect, that's how I would describe it. I'll definitely be sitting at the bar more often.“

“What an amazing lunch. Special shout out to Delores for being the best server in town. She was extremely friendly with a great attitude. She recommended the creamy mushroom ravioli and i am so happy I listened to her. It has a great sauce that I couldn't get enough of. The Fettuccine alfredo with broccoli was served hot and fresh. We didn't have much of a wait but even if we did it wouldn't have mattered. Olive Garden is lucky to have Delores working there. We can't wait for our next lunch.“

“Only two things to complain about if you order over the phone the last two times I ordered thick crust pan I got regular crust and its always busy 😁. This is my go-to pizza place I love the crust I love the sauce love the cheese as long as it's fresh n hot its 🔥.

“Stopped in at lunch time and picked up lunch specials and deals for my whole office. They were busy midday on a Friday on this cold January day so I thought, 'I'll park my van behind the building and avoid the busyness up front'. My dumb self got my van stuck in the snow for the first time ever. A staff member named Adrian used his entire 10 mins smoke break (or lunch) to help dig me out. They didn't have a shovel so he literally used a pizza pan with a wood handle to shovel the snow and breakup the ice before laying pizza boxes down for my tires to get traction. Everyone in St. Louis knows about and loves Imo's pizza, but what they may not know is that their staff is truly second to none. I'll definitely be back to support these wonderful folks that care about their customers.“
