“Love this place, this food and the staff. They are always sweet to us. Doesn't matter if we eat in or take out! We do a lot and I mean A LOT of curbside here. We live down the street so easy access but know if the food was subpar or the people were awful, we would go elsewhere. I didn't rate on Atmosphere because we rarely go in these days.“

“My husband and I dined here on Jan 17, 2026. Exceptional Tacos! We both got the fish and cheeseburger tacos. Both were yummy and fresh. Our favorite was the cheeseburger.

When I walked in, even the host knew who I was with already, which made me feel very warm!!! I'm so glad I had my birthday experience here and I would recommend others going as well. “Valentin‘s date dinner! We sat by the window and had such a lovely time. We have eaten here many times over the years and the food quality doesn't disappoint. Service was excellent. The only drawback was my blackened cod entrée was quite small (4 oz maybe, but uncertain),in a lovely pool of broth with some shaved fennel on the side. Quite a tiny portion for the price! Taste was light and flavorful, but it definitely needed something more. I ended up ordering a side dish just so I could feel like I had a “meal“ the server was excellent and the food timely. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to any and all. Perfect for date night!“

“We were staying overnight at The Fairfield Inn, and The Summit Grill was recommended to us for a dinner location. We were pleasantly surprised at the deliciously amazing food, quick service, and also our attentive waiter, Travis. I highly recommend the Traditional Pot Roast, and my husband recommends the Chicken-Fried Chicken. If we are in Gladstone again, we will defintely return.“

“Absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! Our group of 14 arrived here today at the Shawnee location for lunch. We were met by friendly staff and seated right away. Once we ordered our food, it arrived quickly! We were impressed! All 14 orders were correct, served hot and fresh, and so good!! Great size portions! The service was absolutely great! Refills were quick. The atmosphere is so fun! We all enjoyed our food arriving by train. The kids had a great time. and only 2 little ones had a nugget and few fries left. Everyone devoured their food. It's definitely a must experience! “My wife and I stopped in for the first time in a few years. We were seated after a bit of a wait. It is after all a Friday night in a shopping district. Our server was bright and cheery. She had a warming smile and happy persona. we placed our drink order. Shortly thereafter our food order was taken. I ordered a flat iron steak and a baker. My wife ordered soup and salad. Our dinner was served fairly quickly. Unfortunately my steak was quite a bit overcooked, so I requested one that wasn't over done. When the replacement steak was delivered, it was a bit overdone as well. I was hungry so I kept it. The manager came by to talk to us. I've spent time in a kitchen or two and I understand a dinner rush. The manager stopped at our table and wanted to assure us that this was not acceptable. She made things right, but wasn't needed or expected. I felt bad for our server because she probably feared she wasn't going to get tipped for a fairly big check. She was pretty wrong. I tipped correctly and arguably better than normal. Our return visit ended up being a great experience. We met a couple of wonderful human beings. Had some pretty good food. And, of course, my wife and I got to connect.“

It was far beyond our expectations. Lonnie is an outstanding entertainer, musician, singer and tap dancer. He brings a mountain of enthusiasm that kept us smiling and entertained throughout the show. His musicians are terrific too! Lonnie's Reno Club is a must-experience if you are in Kansas City and have any interest in live jazz performance. The hotel's package that includes Lonnie's show is also highly recommended.“
