Love the soup and salad which puts the whole dining experience on a higher level. This food makes tummies happy. It is true comfort food. Atmosphere is nice, but carryout works well too. Portion sizes are generous. I love opening my refrigerator and seeing great meals made by the chef at this great restaurant. They will make any house feel like a home. “waited 15 minutes after being seated while wait staff just ignored us. we finally asked the hostess if we could place our order. a waiter came out finally, no apology for our wait. we placed.our order the he never came back. we waited 15 minutes after ordering and never got our beverages. it wasn't super crowded, only the patio was full. it's a shame because they do have good food but I will not be returning. Do not recommend if you ever want to eat. I have never walked out of a restaurant like that in my 42 years. it was terrible“

“I came for St Patrick’s day, let me tell you their St. Patrick’s day celebration was amazing! Their bartender Tracy made the corn beef and cabbage, let me tell you do did not think I liked either item but wow! The meat was savory and juicy and cooked to absolute perfection. The carrots, omg i cannot believe carrots can taste so yummy! The vibe was fun and celebratory and they had an Irish band! It was a full house , our waitress Grace was busting butt and still gave us great service. The staff was really nice. We asked for a table , then changed our minds and wanted a booth instead, and the staff still was really nice about it. I give 5 stars.“

The coleslaw was great, the mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious, but needed some salt and pepper IMO. Overall it’s one of the best chicken spots I’ve found around the city (not on the IL side) so far. Way better than the place that claims to be number one near Soulard.“

I came into town Fri Junteenth2026 for a funeral. Being from Atlanta, I'm always eating seafood wherever I go. My nephew suggested this restaurant and I was for it.

We had a very huge order and I as a Chef was impressed with the amount of time to prepare the order, it get back to me hot 🔥 as if I was sitting at the establishment.

Let me take you on my journey...I don't usually eat fries, but these fries made love to my tongue 😋 then stimulated my gut in a way that was very pleasing to my biome. My boyfriend found a hair underneath his chicken & fries, he took it up to the counter & told the guy working the front counter. His response was, "What do you want me to do about it, I'm not the cook!!!!" We then asked him his name & for the manager, but he refused to give us his name or the manager. He proceeded to "mother f***" us even. Then starts in on another customer. I could not believe he treated us that way! He wouldn't give us his name so I took a photo of him. “The fish and fries were really good, but the gyro salad wasn't very good at all. It has just plain ice berg with raw green peppers and tomato slices with meat (not sure what type of meat it was). Everything was in huge pieces which is hard to cut up with a plastic knife. The lettuce included a lot of the center which was quite bitter. I'm not sure what the dressing was, but I had a couple of other people try it and it was not edible. I would eat there again, but I wouldn't get a salad for sure.“
