Love the soup and salad which puts the whole dining experience on a higher level. This food makes tummies happy. It is true comfort food. Atmosphere is nice, but carryout works well too. Portion sizes are generous. I love opening my refrigerator and seeing great meals made by the chef at this great restaurant. They will make any house feel like a home. “waited 15 minutes after being seated while wait staff just ignored us. we finally asked the hostess if we could place our order. a waiter came out finally, no apology for our wait. we placed.our order the he never came back. we waited 15 minutes after ordering and never got our beverages. it wasn't super crowded, only the patio was full. it's a shame because they do have good food but I will not be returning. Do not recommend if you ever want to eat. I have never walked out of a restaurant like that in my 42 years. it was terrible“

“The chicken was very tasty, the crust was perfect and the chicken was really moist and tender. The coleslaw was great, the mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious, but needed some salt and pepper IMO. Overall it’s one of the best chicken spots I’ve found around the city (not on the IL side) so far. Way better than the place that claims to be number one near Soulard.“

“First time there the food was really good I got a double cheeseburger, my mom and her friend got a whole Jack plate too and it was really good they didn't really add no salt to the whole Jack plate though so, my son got a Philly cheese steak and he only ate half of it so wow and he can eat“

“I came into st luois for work trip and came across kreugers. It was the perfect place to have a great evening. Out of my entire trip i had the most memorable night here. The food here was on point the chef Johnathan suggested we try the smash burger and im glad I took his recommendation I did not expect how delicious it would be. “We went there as out of towners from Indiana. We had the strip steak sandwich, with waffle fries . It was Great! Nice atmosphere , the food was really good. It was a full house , our waitress Grace was busting butt and still gave us great service. The staff was really nice. We asked for a table , then changed our minds and wanted a booth instead, and the staff still was really nice about it. I give 5 stars.“

My boyfriend found a hair underneath his chicken & fries, he took it up to the counter & told the guy working the front counter. His response was, "What do you want me to do about it, I'm not the cook!!!!" We then asked him his name & for the manager, but he refused to give us his name or the manager. He proceeded to "mother f***" us even. Then starts in on another customer. I could not believe he treated us that way! He wouldn't give us his name so I took a photo of him. Completely disrespectful & Canes needs to get rid of any employee that treats their customers like that when the customer has a valid complaint like we did. We did call corporate so they will be looking into it. Shame on that kid!!!!“

Four for Service. I was the one who ordered first but I was the last to receive the order. I had 2 orders already seating on the counter but the lady forgot to call my number.

Atmosphere is kinda uninviting because there's not enough space to hangout and dine in with friends. Also, the ceiling needs to be cleaned up. There are webs and dusts on the counter.“
