If you love beer or cocktails and you need an early dinner, this is a great happy hour. You can get a huge chicken sandwich that tastes high quality for $9 or a delicious burger for $12. Drinks range from $3 - $10. They have plenty of cocktail and beer options during the happy hour as well. The only thing I wish they did was a red and white house wine with the happy hour menu as well. Other than that this is perfect for people who want a fancy delicious experience without the high price tag.

One thing I particularly liked was how well all the dishes were seasoned. A bit of heat here, a bit of spice there, and a dash of sweet when needed. And speaking of sweet, the lemon curd cheesecake is a wonder. I love it when the cheesecake part of the cheesecake isn't oversweet. The lemon curd gives a sweet and tart compliment to the creaminess of the dairy in the dish. It's dangerous, I tell you! We'll be back for more.“

“I am one of the organizers for a monthly network gathering group. We chose to go to DSSOLVR and VOWL for our event this month. We had approximately 200 folks there this past Tuesday (January 14, 2024). The staff nailed it at both bars. Serving 200 people at one time can be a challenge... the staff did not disappoint. It was an extremely welcoming evening from the start to the finish. The owners and management were awesome to work with and delivered everything that they promised and more. They provided a DJ for us (DJ Abu Dissarray), which made the evening even that much more fun. Many of the event-goers had not been to either of these bars, but I heard from many folks that they planned on going back due to the friendliness of the staff and the treatment that we received. “I stay at this hotel way more than I care to admit, and make good use of the dining options. Very rarely do I venture out for food or drink because of what’s available at District 42.

The recent menu changes have been exceptional. Adding basic bar food like chicken tenders with fries was a smart choice and now offers something for the younger guests (e.g. kids). An update to the pizza offerings was the right move. The Ruben is so tasty (although the bread is so fresh it tends to fall apart). Paring down the dessert menu to a few items has also worked out. You. Must. Try. The. Olive. Oil. Cake.

“We have been to Wildwood Still many times. We have always left impressed by the food, the service and the remarkable views. Last night was no different. Aaron was fantastic. He made great suggestions, and had the perfect balance of professionalism and personality. Great humor, there when you needed him without being intrusive. I must add that we have noticed that the associates there make eye contact with you. I don't know if this is something that has been specifically trained or they're just hiring the right people who know how important it is, whichever it is it works!“
