“I will definitely be back again!! I had the Brasstown melt & it was generous, juicy, perfectly cooked & flavorful. I couldn't eat the entire sandwich because it was so substantial. I'm a gf girly so a good gf bun that doesn't fall apart in my hands is a super plus. Our server was sweet & the atmosphere is really nice. There was music playing when I came in & I couldn't help but sing cause it was so upbeat. I love a staff that smiles when I let my little kid out rather than run for the nearest exit. I can be a wild one & it was nice to have the energy matched within reason 😆🤪... don't miss out on this place ~☆ you will leave fat & happy.“

“Got turned on to this place by a friend in Asheville - so glad he told us about this little gem. Intimate dining space, kitchen right in the middle, turning out some serious dishes. Recommendations: grilled romaine salad, artichoke appetizer, house pasta (with venison). Alan our waiter was great.“

“I usually order to go when I am too lazy to make a home-cooked meal. The food is good, generous, and well worth the price. I like different restaurants for different reasons. This falls into my "guilty pleasures/greasy spoon" category of restaurant, not because its a dive but because it is simple, decent, southern comfort style food. Don't go for Michelin Star or for fusion foods, but when you want something comforting like grandma would have made it. I give it a 5 star rating not just for its food, but the heart and spirit of the owners and employees. I have seen from behind the scenes, more than once, how this restaurant helps people and the community-for example with food for flood victims and fundraisers for local schools. Their compassion alone makes it a business worth supporting, the tasty fried country steaks, okra, rolls and desert are just the icing on the cake.“

“All of their food is excellent! My favorites are cheeseburgers, hotdogs and biscuits and gravy! They have a high sanitary grade even though they are in a food truck. The only drawback is they have only outside seating and close at 2:00 pm..“

“We were looking at adding a den onto our cabin and met with three different contractors. We felt comfortable with Josh and we made the right choice. We are part timers here in waynesville so we really needed someone we could trust. He kept us informed throughout the construction and made great suggestions. “im extremely picky with restaurants because I cook so good myself ... but I have absolutely zero complaints and ate every bite on my plate. I will be back for sure.... can't wait to come back , I think we just found our new favorite restaurant spot . I had the ahi tuna tacos and my husband had the BBQ quesadilla. we both swapped some of our meals with one another and loved both of them. took home a giant container of the chorizo queso too because it was so good ... and I almost never bring home extras from a restaurant but I had to have more of that dip. eat here , you won't be disappointed.“

“Real food that’s amazing and full of flavor. Friendly helpful staff too. It was hard to make a decision on what to order because I wanted one of everything. The gift department has a variety of well crafted quality items. We are new to the area and will be making the 30 minute trip often!!“

And the extra amenities it has, with the restaurant, ambience, courtyard, things of that nature, really add to it........ they are doing road construction out in the front of it, building a roundabout, so just be aware when you start driving in that the last couple hundred feet are going to be a little bit different until they get that finished. If you are reading this sometime after mid 2026, the construction is probably already completed“

“Zander was absolutely incredible! The whole staff was honestly. I put in a to go order, and when I got there, they had just finished with a big rush of customers on this Saturday night. They hadn't gotten around to starting my order yet, but I was happily surprised when Zander offered to get me the milk I had ordered while I waited. They were all so nice and very hard working! Oh and the food was fantastic!!!“
