“Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because of Alana. I came here the other day and one of the gentleman working was rude with a smart mouth. I ordered via the app and went inside to pick up the cookies. Was told they were out and I simply asked why did it let me order on the app. Instead of being nice, he just kept saying smart stuff so I asked for a refund bc he told me it would be a hour until they made more. In order to get a refund he had to call the store manager so I stepped off to the side while he called. Came back and said the manager would call me when it’s done so I asked should I wait then. In a snarky tone He was like if you want but it will be 30 minutes bc he is running a business. With that and all the other smart stuff he was saying, I went off bc you’re not about to keep speaking to me any type of way when I’ve been nothing but nice. He finally went to the back and got someone with sense to come speak to me. Alana was very apologetic and got me right. The gentleman should have been apologizing as well. He needs more training on customer service and I can only imagine how many other people he’s smart with. That was my first time coming to this location as I just moved to the area and I won’t be back.”

We brought our baby with us, and the staff was very accommodating of him and our family, going out of their way to make sure that he was comfortable in his highchair and that we had everything we needed. The service was excellent, and everyone was very friendly. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal and it was a very pleasant, relaxing atmosphere. 10/10 recommend - only Italian restaurant in Greensboro that we go to for Italian.”

“We just had such a wonderful experience at Waffle House! 10 New Yorkers who are stranded here in the snow showed up at once, ordered tons of food, and were met with the warmest smiles and hospitality, plus quickly delivered, absolutely delicious, reasonably priced food! “I stumbled across this place on a trip for work a month ago and HAD to make a day trip today! It’s the cutest location tucked away (moving soon in same building to have seating capacity and expansion! The people are the nicest! I called explaining that the cookies I bought had been so wonderful that I had to return for more, which was no problem because by the time I got there, he had me a fresh dozen that he just baked and were taking them from the oven! I had gotten the cookies for coworkers and tried a bite myself!

Let me tell you, the BEST chocolate chip cookies I ever had tasted! I’m not even a sweet’s person but these cookies taste amazing! My coworker told me that he literally was licking his cookie because it was so delicious! We also picked up some gluten free lemon blueberry scones for our pastor’s wife! I’ll be returning again once they open with seating to try out the amazing breakfast sandwiches that I’ve read about! Mmmmm Worth the trip!

This Plunge raised money for research into finding a treatment/ cure for a rare disease called Epidermolysis Bullosa. About 40 people came to Steel Hands Brewery afterwards to enjoy delicious pizza. Royal and Thomas were great!! They featured a “Plunge Pilsner” and donated a dollar from every beer sale to our donation goal and put us OVER OUR GOAL!! Thank you!”

I hope the owners part ways with the bandito burrito food truck. I was trying to order while standing in rain this evening and was completely ignored. Awkwardly I tapped on the glass... twice... to ask if they were closed for the evening. The women in the window stared right through me and just carried on talking to the cook. Never felt so invisible. Digging through Reviews, I believe this might be the same women from the negative reviews at the bodega location.
I really enjoy the existence of Joymongers in our city. I wrote this review in hopes that something like this doesn't stain the experience of others here.”

“We eat there at least twice a month. Service is hit or miss. ALWAYS call ahead and get on the wait list (online). I've seen people actually leave angry because it appears that others just arrived and they're seated while parties who've waited for 30 minutes aren't seated. It seems the remedy would be to at least tell them about the wait-list so they can add themselves or let Longhorn manually add them to the wait list. The service is usually pretty good although they can be forgetful if they're busy. I suggest getting your order down pat first and try not to add on new things. And if your waiter/waitress isn't writing it down, be prepared to be disappointed. The food is the reason we keep coming back. I can't remember a time that the food itself wasn't above average. We've had wings missing from an order but the wings we got were perfect. One of the few places where a well done steak isn't tough. They can even put a little char on the salmon without bringing you a pink hockey puck.
Parking: During their busy hours, good luck in finding someone backing out of their space. Sometimes we park in the shopping center next door.”

“My husband and I love Aunt E’s Southern Cuisine! The owner really came through for us with a large order at the last minute during the NCA&TSU Homecoming celebration last weekend. We needed food for 10 people and the other soul food restaurants we called laughed at us and said there was no way they could help us on the Thursday before Homecoming! We talked with Aunt E herself, and she worked with us and let us know what dishes she could prepare. We called her at noon and the food was ready by 4:00pm. When we went to pick up the food, it was hot and ready just in time for our guests who were scheduled to arrive by 5:00pm. It was our first time in the restaurant, and we noticed a friendly ambience and beautiful banquet room. We also met her husband, daughter, and other relatives. We are so grateful for her willingness to help us. And to top it all off, the food (cabbage, sweet potato casserole, sautéed spinach, and jollof rice), was delicious! Everybody loved it! We give this business our highest rating and appreciation!
