“Today was our second time eating there. A week ago we ate with my parents. My mom has bad allergies. Our waitress Carrie took care of us. She is my favorite waitress ever. We ate today. We got the cookie monster. It was delicious. We also saw Carrie. I will ask for her next time. I will definitely be going back. The food and atmosphere are amazing.“

“My wife and I love The Fourk. We visit Hickory often. I'm originally from NY, on our first visit our Waiter was Dave. Great guy and awesome conversations. We missed him this last visit, however, Tasha was also a fantastic Waitress. We loved The Burrata, and my lady was delighted with The Jumbo Scallops. I just can't stray away from your Fourk Chop. I'll try something else next time.“

“We went here for a late lunch. I'm the only one in my family who needs a gf menu, no one else has any restrictions. We ALL loved our meals and desserts. Highly recommend. Food was good and the young lady working the counter was super friendly. Wish we lived closer and could visit more often.“

“Had Reuben. Served without thousand island dressing. It was dry even though it had sourkraut . The server said this is a signature dish. Really... where is the meat? Can you spare some. They raised prices but you get less meat no dressing. NO QUALITY. WONT BE BACK“

“Food was good. Little greasy as expected. Only real complaint is how they do things for the drive thru. No one else at screens or window when we ordered/paid, but that’s because they put a sticker on your mirror and you have pull up past the window to park and wait on them to bring it out. Once you pay, there’s 3 lanes. 2 outer lanes to park and wait and a middle for leaving. We sat there for almost 30 mins waiting on 2 plain burger combos. Some people that were there before us, were still there after we left. They come out wandering around confused as they are trying to match the order to the number on your rear view mirror. It was an odd experience and not one I plan to repeat anytime soon. Really shouldn’t take that long for fast food.“

“I can say, maybe just this steakhouse or others in general, if you go at certain hours, you'll get a steak that's not gonna be cooked exactly the way you want it. I can say it's either the cook's or just the time of day you go, between 12 to 3pm, they cook great, but say on a late night or evening weekend, not so much...“

“We just stopped in here while passing through recently and really enjoyed getting a Cook Out burger. We don’t have any where we live now so it was awesome to be able to get a burger while visiting. No place does burgers like Cook Out. We found the staff very friendly and the inside was pretty clean. It is great to see the newer locations more often have dining areas now which is great.“

“The owner Augustine and his entire staff are incredible. They're professional and efficient. Love the seafood, lightly breaded. Good ambiance and restrooms are clean.
I love that they give you your drink to go too. All waitresses/waiters are nice. And the menu is easy to navigate with reasonable prices. I will come here for as long as he owns the restaurant! I love the calamari, it's full pieces not just rings. Everything is good on the menu. Neat how they have a drive thru also!“

“Had a lunch meeting with Caleb Hart over at CertaPro Painters of Hickory/ Catawba Valley/ High Country on the 3rd here at Crescent Moon Cafe. I ordered the Greek Chicken wrap, yo - your boy was very pleased. I asked the waiter what side to get he said potato salad. Lights out. Get in, good food, good service, and on your way. 5 stars. Exactly what I didn't know I wanted.“

“I am so happy that my indecisive self decided to give this place a try. I have not been impressed with most of the establishments in the area. My wife and I usually travel to Asheville for good food. On a Sunday there weren’t a lot of options. We decided to give backstreets a try. It’s been years since I ate here and didn’t remember. She got Cajun chicken pasta and I got possibly the best Rueben I’ve had in years. I’d say the pasta is better than Cheesecake Factory. The only negative thing was the judgy couple sitting beside us. However, they cannot control who comes through their doors. The service was excellent and I’m so happy I found a place I am happy with locally.“

“Had to find a brewery for our day trip out to Hickory and happy we chose Olde Hickory. I loved the aesthetic of the carved out bar in the brewery. Parking was right around the corner - you could definitely miss it if you weren’t looking for it. Not a ton of parking, but it’s a pretty small bar area. I love that they had several TVs up and were playing college football and basketball. That’s a way to my heart. Everyone was very friendly. I had a flight and my wife had the Christmas Ale. I think of the four beers of my flight, I really liked one, liked two others, and didn’t love the last but beer is subjective to the taste buds of the drinker.

I’m glad we went and next time we are in town we will try to stop in again to try some more beers.“

“My husband and I are “foodies” and we absolutely LOVE the Vintage House in Hickory. We would rank this restaurant as one of the top in NC. Every appetizer, entree, and dessert are delicious and beautifully plated. The atmosphere is upscale without being stuffy. Prices are in line with the food and service received. All staff are excellent, and we particularly appreciate the warm welcome we always receive from Jack. We are very thankful to have such an excellent restaurant in our hometown!“

“Fried pickles were great. Wings were cooked very well but the sauce was weirdly not very flavorful considering it was a thai, mango haberno blend.
Service was friendly and helpful.

It was about 55 degrees and Jewel said she would wait on us outside or we would not have been able to eat there with our dogs. Jewel was not only a great waitress but a great person as well. “First review I have felt the need to leave. Rude customer to waitress was unbelievably off putting to sit near. Not only chased her down for what seemed unnecessary and rudely speaking, but the man also threw up on the table and left it??! This occurred to the waitress but also was rude to manager when they seemed to make things better and left without cleaning the throw up on the table was the icing on top! Unbelievable treatment to staff when the service was excellent and I cannot believe these people are allowed to dine in. Hoping something gets done about these people, as it is very uncomfortable to be sitting near and a business should not allow this treatment if they care not just about staff but clients!!“
