The food is BANGIN' though, so stop by, fill up your tank, get you some biscuits and gravy, and take it to the beach for some soul food in the sand.”

“We returned to the Outer Banks last week after a 20 year hiatus, remembering Tortuga's Lie as one of our favorite places to eat. We ate there on the second night of our stay and no one in the family was disappointed. I had the grilled salmon salad special and coming from a tough critic, it was DELICIOUS and did not disappoint! Everyone enjoyed their meal and the "vibe" was just the same as we remembered. We can't wait to visit again.”

“Stopped for the ice cream fell in love with the cookies. The ice cream is from a NC creamery and I recommend the Lemon Crunch 🍋 But the cookies are a blessing for your taste buds. I got the coconut cookie and my husband raved about the white chocolate macadamia. I wish we had tried this sooner... but it's 10 miles down the beach 😆”

“I had the best veggie Subway sub I have ever had while visiting Nags Head. I regularly have a Subway veggie sub three times a month at my favorite place and local shop, while very good, can't compare. The young woman who prepared it was very polite, smiling and friendly and piled on a volume of each of my vegetables. The sandwich was so thick I couldn't finish the whole 12-inch sub in one sitting which is a rarity. Everything was fresh and the bread was perfect. We go to OBX every year and I know where I'll be getting my lunch!”

“We arrived to OBX before our house was ready, so we decided find a place for lunch. We decided to try Dune Burger. The burgers were delicious along with the onion rings. When we went, there was a sign stating no shakes. The parking lot is small. They have plenty of picnic tables to enjoy your meal.”
