“The breakfast sandwiches here are the best that it can get! I ordered the bacon, egg, and cheese, and my boyfriend got the sausage, egg, and cheese, and they were both absolutely delicious! The price of the food was very reasonable, and the staff were super friendly! They are based out of a convenience store as well, so we got some energy drinks to go with our sandwiches. Overall, I'd absolutely recommend dropping in for a tasty meal!”

“We returned to the Outer Banks last week after a 20 year hiatus, remembering Tortuga's Lie as one of our favorite places to eat. We ate there on the second night of our stay and no one in the family was disappointed. I had the grilled salmon salad special and coming from a tough critic, it was DELICIOUS and did not disappoint! Everyone enjoyed their meal and the "vibe" was just the same as we remembered. We can't wait to visit again.”

“No food here, buy they work with Benny's Tesoro pizza. Went in and asked the beer tender what went best with a huge slice of pepperoni pizza. He quickly responded Flounder Pounder. I said I'll take it. He was dead on, washed the hugest slice of pizza I've ever encountered. Will definitely be back, go getcha some.”

“You know it's good when the police and fire department frequents it! I found their $8 special burger, fries and drink to be an awesome deal. The burgers are top quality beef, cooked to perfection, and with a hefty amount of fries. Find myself going there way too much!!”

“This place is super cute and well decorated. It’s adorable! We loved the self serve bar with frozen yogurt, gelato, and sorbet. They have unique flavors and tons of toppings. It’s really well priced. I got a full cup for $5. They also have ice cream cookie sandwiches. I highly recommend this place!!”

“Stopped for the ice cream fell in love with the cookies. The ice cream is from a NC creamery and I recommend the Lemon Crunch 🍋 But the cookies are a blessing for your taste buds. I got the coconut cookie and my husband raved about the white chocolate macadamia. I wish we had tried this sooner... but it's 10 miles down the beach 😆”

“I had a wonderful omelette made with fresh vegetables and turkey bacon. The fresh pressed juice was so delicious. As a person with food allergies, Freshfit has many options for me. They offer vegan and gluten free items, plus turkey sausage or bacon instead of pork. We can’t wait to eat there again on our next OBX visit!”

“We arrived to OBX before our house was ready, so we decided find a place for lunch. We decided to try Dune Burger. The burgers were delicious along with the onion rings. When we went, there was a sign stating no shakes. The parking lot is small. They have plenty of picnic tables to enjoy your meal.”
