“My lady and I walked into this establishment Dec.20th on a Saturday night close to 8pm. It was empty at the time and this would be our first experience with Firehouse . I didn't know what to expect but the commercials finally drove us there. The guy at the counter was very friendly and made us feel extremely welcomed. The subs were ridiculously good! It's all my lady and I could talk about as we dined. No disrespect, but it made me want to go throw eggs at the windows of Subway and Jersey Mike's...lol.“

“Omg. I am putting JJ's on the curb!! First time UBER priority $80 order from Albemarle Rd Charlotte!! Subs were awesome!!! Fresh tasting with good tomatoes (not the case with JJ. Theirs are hard and not ripe!) The roast beef was moist and meaty tasting (not the case at JJ. Theirs is slightly dry!) And the tuna!!!!! Yummy fresh. I will order again for sure.“

“Jersey mikes where do I begin. Tonight was another one of those nights for me, but walking into the east blvd location I could tell something was different. Cj, Chris, and Caden greeted me gladly before allowing me to dive into the menu head first. I questioned, chose my sub, and walked out of the door changed. They even let me come in the back and make a couple subs for some customers. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a sub restaurant, all thanks to Chris, cj, and my boy Caden.“

Parking: Plenty of spots, they even have 15 minute parking out front if you need to run in to grab your meal real quick.

Kid-friendliness: They have meals specific for kids. ALSO, every Wednesday after 4pm, kids eat free!“

“Great food. Amazing service. My kids said Turkey subs are comparable to most places but i had the hot Italian that was recommended and it was delicious. Fries made fresh. Cookies were soft. The staff was friendly, helpful, all smiles. Would eat here again“

“Been here 3 times and I will be back. Food always feels freshly made, delivered hot. Fries aren't soaked in salt, buns dont fall apart from grease, soda machine is always balanced so your coke isn't flat. They seem to make good choices with how they operate. Reasonably priced, too.“

“This deli feels like stepping into a piece of local history. You can tell it’s been around for decades, and the regulars (many fresh from church) clearly treat it like home. The staff knows everyone by name, and you get the sense that all of them have been working here forever

“Yesterday was the best experience because a worker named Jamal, and a worker name Cameron, they were on it. It was just two of them and they was being quick about it. They also gave me good service and made my sandwich with care. I will definitely come back to jersey mikes, yesterday made my day. They was also being an efficient way, I could tell they was busy they had customers, and multiple online or doordash orders by the slicer. “Awesome spot for sandwiches and you can build your own. Open kitchen, prepared salads and sandwiches, order at the counter, BYO options, super friendly staff. No indoor seating, only a couple benches outside makes it a grab and go situation. Can’t miss!!“

“I am not a big reviewer but sometimes when an employee shows extra effort, especially a young person, it warrants a few minutes of your time. Chanel/Chantel greeted me immediately and told me she would be with me in just a minute while updating the people waiting on their pick up orders. She was warm/smiled and acted like she wanted to be there. They get so many “to go” orders so it’s a lot to juggle even if they don’t look busy in store. She communicated the entire wait and that’s all people really want when they see you are busy and doing your best. She is management material and if I had a business I’d try and steal her away- there was only one other person working with her at time and they were getting it done. The young man who cashed me out was equally as pleasant and asked how my day was. Give them both a raise- working last night 8/7 around 6-7pm at Johnston Rd location and if corporate reads this recognize them because most young people don’t have this kind of work ethic in 2025.“

“I had an avocado under which I believe and it looked it really small and got no food is my girlfriend but I promise you it was fulfilling it was delicious The gentleman that made it I believe his name is Anthony he has locs tall brown dark skin... man, he, he put some real good energy into that unwhiche... man I appreciate that... he deserves a dollar raise... if you give him a dollar raise I guarantee you everybody that come order that unwich will come back 10+ times each ....including me!“

“I was a little sad when I was told this location couldn't deliver to our office 2.9 miles away, but I also understand this was not decided by the employee on the phone. I picked up our order instead and the staff was extremely friendly, the prices are great, and the sandwiches are freaking delicious and well-made. But please consider broadening your delivery range for this store (or opening up a store closer to Pineville/Westinghouse Rd area).“

We got a Sausage,egg,cheese, with some onions on wheat toast and it was perfect ! No condiments needed . Their gentleness and kindness was atmospheric .. despite other people always being in a rush this cafe is the perfect place to wind down .“

“We ordered for delivery. Our food arrived quickly with the hot subs and fries still warm. Their portions are huge- a large sandwich is a full French loaf, their small fries are a pound cup easily.
Delicious well assembled sandwiches with good bread and quality ingredients.
We only order out a few times a year, capriottis will be in our rotation from now on when we deserve a fancy treat meal!“

“I’ve heard so much about Capriotti’s that I tried the one in Steele Creek! I’m glad I did! The tuna was amazing! I got the pickled peppers with oil and vinegar, lettuce, tomatoes onion, and pickles. The bread tasted FRESHLY baked and was SOFT! I ordered the small and was STUFFED! I asked for extra mayo, but it wasn’t in the bag. Ordered thru Door Dash.“

“We always stop by when we are close to any Penn Station so in this case this was the one. We come for the delicious sandwiches and mostly for the fries. This location was friendly and fast. However they can do better to wipe down and clean the floors to the tables and chairs as they are sticky and dirty.“

“It was good until, I found a hair in my French fries. I think it should be a requirement that all employees around food wear a hairnet. I had been to this location several times, service, great, food was until the hair, so I haven't been back.“

“One of my favorite Firehouse locations. I usually order through the app and pick it up. It's always ready and accurate since I usually make adjustments to my sub. I highly recommend this location! The staff always says hello and thank you even when I'm just picking up a mobile order.“

“Today makes my third visit at any Potbelly ever. I experienced a wonderful first impression on my initial visit by expedient and quality the food and service was and made a point to return. Wish I didn't have to pay more for the flatbread option; I love wraps and sandwiches, but I'm just not a fan of eating an excess of doughy breads. I digress.

On the 2nd visit, the service and experience felt a bit rushed, and upon inspecting my sandwich later on, it wasn't up to par as the first. HOWEVER, my third visit allowed me to speak to the manager Paul who is kind and understanding of what little concerns I had, and handled the solution with patience and professionalism during a busy lunch hour.

It's because of my experience with him that I'm inclined to come back more often. Overall, the food is great here and the ingredients are of good quality when handled with care and attention. I definitely recommend.“

“First time here. Not disappointed. I got the toasted Country Club and wife got the Kickin Ranch Chicken wrap. Both delicious. The toasting of the Club made it 100% better.
Chip bag is 2 ounces, which is better than most places. Comfortable seating.

“I have a good friend who is recently widowed and also has had her cancer return. I’ve been taking her to treatments. Last Thursday July 17 she had an infusion and labs and was fasting. The labs were at 1pm so she was starving. We walked by the Brooklyn Pickle and saw they were having a special with whole sandwiches for $5. She got excited since it’s one of her favorite restaurants and she’s dying to eat. I promised her after the labs were done and she was settled in that I would go get her her sandwich. I went down and unfortunately they had run out of supplies and had to close early. I wasn’t surprised, it was a great special and they have delicious food, but I was super sad for my friend. I guess the employee who was locking the door somehow …? picked up on what I was thinking? She asked me what I wanted and my friend really wanted the classic Brooklyn Pickle sandwich. How about that sweet lady went to see if they had enough for the one sandwich and then made the sandwich for her? And didn’t charge me? It really helped my friend also, because her labs were off and she wasn’t able to get her infusion, after all that, so at least being able to eat a favorite meal took away from that unfortunate experience. I wish I’d gotten the employee’s name but I would recognize her face and pretty eyes anywhere! So I guess I want to say, thank you for the AMAZING customer service!“

“My family and I love having Jersey Mike’s close by in Waxhaw now. The staff is always very friendly and the store is always clean. I do have to say that dependent on who is cutting the the deli meat at the time you order your sandwich, you may have a normal amount of meat or hardly any. I know at some locations they weigh it to make sure it’s the correct amount. I wish they’d do this every time. I just have a hard time justifying paying almost $16 for a Giant Sub with such little meat on it. If they could improve this area then they’d for sure be 5 stars in my opinion! And yes, if I’m there and ordering in person then I make sure there is enough on the sandwich or ask them to weigh it. 😊 Pictured below are 2 of our sandwiches from tonight (my husband went and wasn’t paying attention at the amount of meat being put on the sandwiches). One was a Turkey and the other an Italian.“

“Jimmy John’s came THROUGH. I got the Chicken Bacon Ranch but swapped the chicken for turkey—and omg, 10/10 recommend. The turkey was fresh, the bacon was crispy, and the ranch? Literally elite. The bread was warm, fresh and so soft And of course, it was made freaky fast. Staff was super chill too.
