In Lincoln, where flavor goes to die, this place is a major miracle. Every bite tastes like rebellion against mayonnaise culture. Five stars for doing God’s work in enemy territory.”

Me and my boyfriend had our first date at Momo back in ‘21 and we are moving to Houston on Wednesday. So it only felt right to finish up our NE chapter where it began. The food was INCREDIBLE. We even sent compliments to the chef. My boyfriend is a huge foodie with a background in culinary and rates his pork ribeye one of the best meals he’s EVER had. We've had parties there, and they have been very accommodating in reserving space and doing whatever they can to make things as easy as possible.
They treat teachers, first responders, and military super well with free beer options. They are family friendly, dog friendly, and food truck friendly.

If I had a critique it would be that it needed more of the house made steak sauce, but that didn't ruin my experience at all. The chips and queso side that came with it was fantastic. My wife got the chicken wrap and thoroughly enjoyed it other than it had a bit too much lettuce. Nothing worth crying about. The fried pickles are always amazing along with the sweet potato waffle fries. Be ready to fight for a table as the place is busy every time I've been there. Don't let how busy it is deter you as this place is an absolute gem.”

The cinnamon rolls are a classic recipe from another Lincoln business, Miller and Paine, and are incredible.”

“Family Dinner Time! Decided to finally check out Los Cabos by the south 84th street Walmart. Directly across from Big Red Keno it's a fairly unassuming location but was pretty packed when we went on a week night. Much bigger than it seems, with tables winding all throughout the space.
We received a Very warm welcome upon entering and were seated immediately. Chips & Salsa and waters were brought out pretty quickly. Drinks arrived not too long after. Our order was taken but then took around 30 minutes to be delivered. Kinda hard with 2 hungry young ones but we made it work.
Medium sized child got a Kids Chicken Enchilada Meal. I seriously blinked and it was gone. Her middle name is Beans and she was in her element! Little one had an *$8* Hot Dog 😐. Every effort to convince him to order something involving a tortilla was futile and ultimately it just wasn't worth the fight. He actually loved it and his fries and cleaned his plate as well!
My husband who is Obsessed with a similar dish from another local fave was excited to try their Pollo Poblano! Chicken topped with poblanos, mushrooms, and a cream sauce it definitely earned a mention. He said the rice had a great flavor!
I have a harder time eating at local Mexican places. Although they have a vegetarian menu, most of it contains rice & beans which is pretty much guaranteed to Not be vegetarian. I got the V-6 Combo which included a Chile Relleno, Spinach Enchilada, and Mushroom Quesadilla. I was More than pleasantly surprised! Chile Relleno was respectable with yummy cheese. The other veggies were seasoned and delicious and just done right!
I think this will be a Great place to return for date night. Margs look yummy, staff was friendly, price point is Excellent!

I verified number of guests and called a couple days before arriving on the 24th to confirm the number attending. We were very impressed with Trevor and the quality of food was outstanding.. I had the beer macaroni and cheese and loved it. A couple people had Rueben's and were equally impressed. Burgers and chicken strips were large. I was impressed with nice side salad. The salmon was beautifully plated too. Highly recommend coming to the Mettle Grill. You will not be disappointed The only downside was the chairs were very heavy and if you put gliders on chair legs it would make it easier for an older group to move the chairs. Trevor was very pleasant and efficient. Will definitely return.”

“I ordered to go, which was my first time trying this restaurant, so i can't speak about service or atmosphere.
I got the lamb Madras with rice and a garlic naan. I agree the portions are a bit small for the price, but both my containers for rice and lamb Madras were filled to the top. There wasn't much lamb meat, but lots of very flavorful liquid which was great with the rice and naan.
The flavor was excellent, I spent a couple years between Singapore and Malaysia as a child and this was very reminiscent of the Indian food I ate there.
I think the price needs to come down for the portions, but I will probably eat here again, although, only for a special occasion.”

“I had the lobster bisque (excellent) and the steak of the day, which was (I forget the exact name) a Rib Steak with rosemary infused butter? It was melt in your mouth tender and one of the most flavourful steaks I’ve had. Unbelievable! Such a unique and enjoyable dinner with service to match the meal. I would have to recommend this be a regular menu item so others have the opportunity to enjoy it. It was that good!”

“We ordered the burger specials and they were cooked perfectly, just as we requested! They were juicy and delicious! The waiter, Carl was awesome. He was attentive and kind! Our only complaint was that it was so cold in the restaurant. There was cold air blowing through frequently and not just when people came in the door. It would have been nice to take off our coats and be warm enough to eat without them but it was way too cold to take our coats off!! Some warmth and heat would have given the 5th star!”

The food, as always, was outstanding (they by far make the best cheeseburger in Lincoln...hand-formed beef patties with just the right amount of juiciness)....when we left, FOUR different employees acknowledged us. The worker sweeping the floor told us to have a great evening, and he thanked us for coming, the person working in the kitchen thanked us and told us to have a nice evening, the guy wiping tables thanked us and told us to come back, and the person at the order counter said goodbye and thanked us for coming. WOW! Good food and great service! You just don't find that kind of employee kindness and attention anymore, so Don and Millies now has a permanent customer with us!”

“I phoned a week before the date we wanted to make reservation. Trevor was very nice and said I could reserve a long table for up to 15 guests. I verified number of guests and called a couple days before arriving on the 24th to confirm the number attending. We were very impressed with Trevor and the quality of food was outstanding.. I had the beer macaroni and cheese and loved it. A couple people had Rueben's and were equally impressed. Burgers and chicken strips were large. I was impressed with nice side salad. The salmon was beautifully plated too. Highly recommend coming to the Mettle Grill. You will not be disappointed The only downside was the chairs were very heavy and if you put gliders on chair legs it would make it easier for an older group to move the chairs. Trevor was very pleasant and efficient. Will definitely return.”
