There were a couple of oddities when we were there. There was no music playing in the background, which in turn made everything very echoey. I'm not sure if that's how it usually is there or not but it did add a weirdness to our experience. But still 5 out of 5 and highly recommended”

“My boyfriend and I stopped into Canyon Joe’s on Thursday, and I swear this is the best BBQ in the entire state of Nebraska. We both got the two‑meat platter with brisket and burnt ends, plus mac and cheese and cornbread casserole — every single thing was incredible. You can taste the quality and care in every bite.I also want to shout out Dawson, the young man working the counter. He was so kind, respectful, and genuinely great at customer service. People like him make the whole experience even better.And listen… that banana pudding? Absolute chef’s kiss.If you haven’t been to Canyon Joe’s yet, go. 10/10 recommend.”

“Today I met Pepe stopping in to Donate a painting for A Benefit Brunch for a local teacher. What a kind person and a great chef! I took home the Sweet Potato Mole Enchilades and the Avacado Cheesecake. The enchiladas were cooked to perfection with a little just right hotness in flavor in the mole and the ingredients were fresh and full of flavor. For the price, there is a good amount of food! The avacado cheesecake was delicious. (not too sweet)..but my advice is to let it thaw 30 min before eating to have the perfect experience. 😁. I highly recommend the food here. Only took a pic of the cheesecake...oops. lol.”

She suggested Kung fu chicken after seeing all the drink choices.
We walked in and found a very modern counter service Cafe and were greeted by a nice lady at the counter. We placed our order. 5 piece tender with fries. 3 spicy 2 medium. I had the strawberry lemonade and my wife had oolong tea with milk cap 0 sugar.
The drinks came, then the food.
The drinks - in short delicious. Mine was sweet and full of flavor. And with the spicy chicken I had a second one.
Hers, she loved it. Made her miss home.
The chicken and fries. The chicken was nicely breaded and fried. Great pieces of white meat, the spicy definitely had a bite to it. And we also had the mango habinero dipping sauce.
The fries crisp on the outside and tender inside. Tasted wonderful. And everything was so hot and fresh.”

“l am Black in America, l have. Been going to the Lounge for about a 1 1/2 years. My experiences have been very negative with the staff that does not appreciate diversity, the staff speaks to me as if we are still in Slavery! I have been licked, by a Pit Bull, l have stepped outside and come back in my drink covers were removed and my drinks poured out, although my coat and purse was in my seat. I was told by management that l would receive a phone call, this was 4 weeks away, and l still have not received a call. Tonight was the icing on the Cake a group was talking very loud, over the music and singer l could not hear the music. I was called to the front by management, l was told l was doing more clapping than usually, and that if l did not listen to them then, l would have to leave or they would call the police! I was told it was a private business and that l should never come back. I just want to say l am a Veteran, l respect the law, but the way l was treated was Disgusting! I would advise anyone of Color to not frequent this business, they donot not know how to treat Non Black People! They feel they can talk to you anyway! Sad! I would not even give them a rating, they donot deserve one! I will definely let people who look like me know Boitano's Lounge Coustomer Service towards Black's is Bad!”

She loves the wide variety of meats, the incredible salad bar, and the cocktails—and even as a vegetarian/sometimes pescatarian, I felt completely cared for. Because of her birthday club BOGO, I did the full Rodizio, and owner Eric Underwood went out of his way to make fresh fish and garlic shrimp so I could truly enjoy it. Everything is made fresh, from the endless glazed grilled pineapple (my favorite!) and polenta/cheese breads to cinnamon plantains. The salad bar is massive and unique—ceviche, seafood and pasta salads, soups, rice and beans, quail eggs, amazing banana bread, and my absolute favorites: the chilled mango and strawberry soups with coconut on top. Brunch added French toast sticks, cheesy eggs, bacon, and the best whipped potatoes. What really sets Rodizio apart, though, is Eric. He checks in with every table, treats his staff with clear respect, and models true servant leadership. The restaurant is always clean, welcoming, and full of options. There was salt on the chair and table. The table was free if food it was just a bit salty. Our servant was pleasant with a smile. She remembered my lime for my drink as some other restaurants forget. I did see the cheeseburger was $7.99 on the menu and was expecting that price. However the sign said it was $5.99. The restaurant needs to update it as some guests may get confused. The burger was huge and cooked very well. The French fries weren't the best but they were good. Food was a lot and I took home half. My daughter always has the pizza as that is her favorite she gets every time. In fact it was her suggestion we go to Applebee's. The server asked if we wanted desert and we almost said yes but passed this time. It was busy but service was fast and efficient. I recommend lunch at Applebee's if you can slow down for a fast casual environment.”

It was BUSY and of course staff shortage was noticeable not only in all the tables waiting for food, but the floor was really dirty. A cook called in so that caused the backup. The mgr should have been going around to let folks know. We waited 15 minutes for water. We just got the salad bar and soup. Husband had 2 salads before the soup came out. Waitress a nice young frazzled gal, apologized profusely about the wait for a bowl of soup.
And because it was so busy, the salad bar was a mess and consistently out of items, had to ask for the bread cubes, the spinach and the salad dressings were mixes with drippings from others. Maybe have them in a row vs on top of each other.”

We almost always order the same thing. My favorite is the grilled chicken breast with garlic mashed potatoes. They come out perfectly every time.
We love the appetizers as well. We try to get in there during happy hour or reverse happy hour.”

“I phoned a week before the date we wanted to make reservation. Trevor was very nice and said I could reserve a long table for up to 15 guests. I verified number of guests and called a couple days before arriving on the 24th to confirm the number attending. We were very impressed with Trevor and the quality of food was outstanding.. I had the beer macaroni and cheese and loved it. A couple people had Rueben's and were equally impressed. Burgers and chicken strips were large. I was impressed with nice side salad. The salmon was beautifully plated too. Highly recommend coming to the Mettle Grill. You will not be disappointed The only downside was the chairs were very heavy and if you put gliders on chair legs it would make it easier for an older group to move the chairs. Trevor was very pleasant and efficient. Will definitely return.”

“Had dinner here on Wednesday 7/8 around 6ish. 1st time here, plenty of tables available, our server (Harley, she checked on us multiple times during our visit) came by within a few minutes of us sitting down to let us know she'd right back. She took our drink and food orders and drinks were out pretty quick. Food took a bit but it was kinda busy and Burger night too.
Food: wife and I both had burgers and fries, flavor was there, hard to decide if patties were pre-frozen and fresh made based on the shape of them. I also has the mac and cheese, it was ok, not much flavor (hatch chilies would be great) but still good.
Atmosphere: plenty of TVs with different games on them all. Place was clean. Only downside was the lack of music variety, only playing country.
Over all, definitely a good place to eat.”
