“I dropped by for a sandwich on Thursday around 8:30 and the lady running the drive thru was so kind. She had such a sweet voice and calmly talked through the ordering process. I felt like I needed to mention something because honestly her kindness and patience to me after I had such a long day brightened me up a bit. And when I asked for the most unholy amount of mayonnaise she DELIVERED.“

“I would like to thank Block 16 for helping my unintentional bulking phase that lasted for 2 years when I lived downtown. This unique spot was my go-to for lunch and dinner whenever I was feeling too lazy to cook at my apartment. Beware - If you follow them on social media the temptation to head over will overwhelm you as they post their new food creations throughout the week. Some of the food posts seem like they are concocted by a mad scientist, other limited time menu items are staples in the food world, but just done better. The common theme here is everything I have ever ordered is top notch. Block 16 is one of the more unique places to eat in Omaha, and anytime I have friends from out of town ask for a recommendation, I point them this direction as a downtown option. Block 16 isn't scared to bend the rules of what french fries should be topped with and they certainly don't worry about the logistics of stuffing a full entree into a sandwich. They are lovers of food and their menu that varies throughout the month reflects that. They have some staple items that are always available but there are new things to try out almost every time you go. The only thing I could give some criticism on is dining-in can be a little tough sometimes with their setup but this is more due to the popularity of the place and limited dining space. But let's be honest, you go here for the food, not the tables.“

“The team at this store is so friendly and really wants you to enjoy your meal. They are busy everyday, but still are take their time with each guest. The food is amazing. Catering is super easy to order here with many different options to fit every need.“

“I was in a pickle today with my catering order being canceled without prior knowledge. I walked in to Potbelly and was greeted with kindness by Zane. I shared my predicament with another sandwich location and how I was in urgent need of 15 sandwiches. Zane, Jesse, Betty & Ian took care of me right away. They procured 2 sandwich boxes in under 20 minutes. I was able to make my meeting and take care of my customers without missing a beat. The team at Potbelly really went above and beyond. I greatly appreciate them and will certainly be back!!“

“Every time I come downtown, I make a beeline for this place. The owners are amazingly kind, and clearly care about their customers and food. This is more than a chain restaurant this is a mom and pop sandwich shop where every sandwich is made with love! Thank you for every amazing meal!“

“With Dodge Street running at 50mph you NEED to slow down and find this gem. Just off of Dodge at 80th street this sandwich shop packs a punch. We had a last minute need to feed the staff and Penn Station East Coast Subs ABSOLUTELY fit the bill. I ordered a sub package for 12 and a large Italian Salad. It was delivered on time and displayed professionally in the space available. They thought of everything and left nothing to chance, we had plenty of condiments and dressing for all. They will be a regular in the rotation now.“

“Kind of an out of the way small location tucked into a strip mall on a major street. The service was adequate but not terrific. The food was good but I've had better sandwiches at other locations. The vibe was very low key and I'm hoping the scent of a certain product came from the next door establishment. It was adequately clean but shows some wear. Not a bad place just not outstanding where this chain is concerned.“

“First time at Jersey Mike’s today. The food was excellent. I was even more impressed with the manager. I did not catch his name but he pushed his employees to get orders right, and quick, was himself working hard and did so with a smile. He greeted every customer, played peek-a-boo with a baby and had cheerful conversations with regulars. All of this on a busy Sunday lunch rush. Jersey Mike’s you do not want to lose this gentleman! It’s obvious he cares. With as busy as they were the bathrooms were even clean and tidy“

“I visit this store a lot but my latest order was an absolutely terrible failure. I actually had 4 different problems with my order and the worst of it was a bug in my sandwich. Ordered a Deluxe original with no lettuce & tomato and they slopped so much of both on my sandwich. Both were wilted and had a rotten smell and ruined the entire order. On top of that failure, both of the sandwiches were supposed to be double meat but were not double meat at all and they also failed to include additional items in the bag that we ordered. I could go on and on about their failures but the bug in my sandwich says it all! Huge disappointment! MASSIVE FAILURE!“

“I buy a sandwich from this Jimmy John’s fairly often. I’ve never had a wrong order. Like the ads say it’s fresh food fast.

But I’m really just writing this review to give a special shout out to Gina who often works the windows at night. Gina is a welcoming, kind, fun, efficient and genuinely authentic person. You can tell she cares about and likes people and always takes that extra step to be present in the moment which can be pretty rare these days. She’s a true treasure!“

“I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION FOR ANYONE! A 1/2 STAR REVIEW IS TOO GOOD FOR THEM! I called the north 40th street location and made a delivery order for lunch today. I ordered a Bootlegger club only meat and cheese on wheat. first off the delivery driver did not meet me on the floor I specified and I went from floor to floor to find him. I finally met him and received my order. upon opening I learned the sandwich was made incorrectly. The pit lettuce and mayo on it anyway. I called and was given to the manager. instead of trying to handle the situation calmly, she accused me of having an attitude, said it would be made the way I requested it and redelivered. The manager abruptly hung up the phone. I was called by the driver roughly 15 minutes later and went to the third floor to pick up the new sandwich. I gave the first one to a therapist downstairs and went back up to eat lunch. upon opening the sandwich, I learned it was not made as I requested either! It was gooped with mayo! It was already after 1:30pm at this point and I did not have time nor did I feel like calling that store again! I packaged it back up and gave it to another therapist downstairs (they paid me for both sandwiches). So instead of getting to eat lunch, I had to go without because the staff at this location have issues with listening. I GUESS WHEN YOU WORK AT A STORE THAT IS SURROUNDED BY VAPE/KRAYON/THC STORES, IT IS MORE IMPORTANT TO GET A VAPE, GET HIGH IN THC OR KRATOM, AND WORK AT A DELI Y DER THE INFLUENCE THAT IT IS TO DO THE JOB RIGHT AND MAKE FOOD AS REQUESTED BY A CUSTOMER!!!!!! THIS LOCATION GOT PAID BY ME FOR FOOD I WAS UNABLE TO ENJOY OR EAT! THIS LOCATION WILL NEVER GET BUSINESS FROM ME AGAIN!“

“I stopped in for lunch today and had a mixed experience. When I walked in, I was greeted right away, which I appreciated. I went up to the register to order, but no one ever came over to help. It was clearly the lunch rush, so it seemed like the team may have been a bit understaffed.

After waiting for a bit, I ended up just taking a seat and placing my order through the app at 11:29 AM. My sandwich was ready at 11:40 AM, and it was great as always. The food quality was exactly what I expect from Jimmy John’s.

Overall it wasn’t a bad experience, but it would have been nice to be able to order at the counter instead of having to switch to the app. Hopefully it was just a busy moment and not the usual experience.“

“The footlong cookie is AMAZING very moist chewy chocolatey as you can see from the one picture. The footlong pretzel was just a tad overdone but still very good.. would recommend trying them if you're a pretzel or cookie fan before they're gone.“

“Picture doesn’t do my sandwich justice. I got the cubano. I get the sliced wheat bread, because I don’t like the French bread. The sandwich is only showing one half, but it comes full. It was fresh and it was made how a sandwich should be made, no skimping out here! I won’t mind spending $13 on lunch (if you get a combo, sandwiches are cheaper by themselves), because at least you’ll get a quality meal for it being a fast sub place.“
