“I have visited Charley’s Bayonne twice and both times I had a positive experience.

The first time I was there I dined-in. They have a huge dine in area with lots of tables. The order was ready within 10 minutes and my wife and I enjoyed our Philly cheesesteaks.

I downloaded their app and created an account which gave me a $5 credit for my next purchase so I ordered through the app and picked up. This time I ordered a Bacon Cheesesteak which was also tasty. As soon as I arrived (approximately 10 minutes after I had placed the order) the order was ready and properly packed with each cheesesteak in a separate box (much better than Subway’s packaging). I also ordered a side of cheese sauce but I do not recommend it. It was cold and tasteless, much different than Wendy’s cheese sauce.

Both times I visited were on a weekend early afternoon and both times the place was dead. I’m not sure if it gets busier later or during weekdays but I hope this business survives because I definitely recommend it.

You can expect to pay between 8 and 13 for your cheesesteak depending on the size. They also offer wings and other types of sandwiches.“

The bread is a wonderful French baguette that comes from another great spot in Williamsburg but you’ll have to ask them for their source I won’t spill it here. “This is the best neighborhood Banh Mi shop. My lover always gets the shredded chicken sandwich and orders one spicy for me, and gets one regular for himself. Great sandwich. I always end up just eating half, its alot of food, and he eats the other half. Ok, maybe 80% of the time. I do wish they had a spicier option, MORE SPICY PLEASE! They also do have some summer rolls, however with shrimp and pork, I pick out the pork and shrimp because I do not eat those and eat the rolls. Great bang for your buck.“

“Walked to Shelskys on a cold windy Brooklyn Friday afternoon, but when I say it was worth it....it was worth it. After about 5 min of browsing, we decided on the Tuna Salad, which is served with sliced jalapeños and a spicy shrimp paste. It's got some heat, but nothing a Mexican from Chicago cant handle! Everything you see is fresh, and you can taste it. Prices aren't cheap but sometimes you gotta treat yo self!!! 10/10!“

“This was our first time trying this famous sandwich place. Thus, we were not sure what were the options. Unfortunately, they do not have a list of menu. However, they were very patient with us and told us what the special sandwiches of the day were. We got that day's special which was roastbeef. It was quite delicious. Next time, I would like to try a sandwich with bresaola (if they have).“
