“If you’re looking for amazing authentic Puerto Rican food, Freddy’s is the place to get it. While I have been to a few other spots, Freddy’s has the taste of Puerto Rico in every dish I’ve tried. The mofongo, arroz con pollo and lechon asado and you can not leave without a mango smoothie! A must have if you want to know what it tastes like if you could stick a straw directly into a mango and drink from it. The only con I’d mention is the location and parking is limited in the parking lot. Although there is side street parking if necessary”

“This is Rocco's ! What's there to say ? As always nothing short of fast friendly and deliciously fabulous. Over 50 years family business. What's there to say besides fast, friendly and caring community icons. It's Rocco's steaks delicious fresh high quality and the Italian Hoagie is the absolute best I have ever had.( Well, actually have had repeatedly over and over and delicious every time ) I just cannot bring myself to get one from anywhere else. High quality fresh meats made correctly. They also serve many other foods and breakfast items at good prices. A popular neighborhood staple but if you don't live in the direct area definitely worth a little ride for take out. ♥️ They are take out and delivery but they do have a small counter seating and both that many like to frequent.”

“What more can I say about this establishment. I was blessed to be in the presence of the owner and daughter of this reputable Italian restaurant. When I arrived to the place, I didn't think much of it. I thought it was just another place to buy a cheesesteak. But oh no, was I caught off guard and was very surprised.

I was greeted very well by both, Mr. Vito(aka. "Bert" as everyone calls him) and his daughter. I went to the easy-to-read menu board and ordered a cheesesteak with fries. While I was waiting on my food, I started talking to Mr. Vito (who doesn't like to be called mister) and his daughter and the stories he told me were amazing.

I love the father and daughter interaction while he was telling me his story, and I love how his daughter was backing up his stories. Mr. Vito explained to me about his cooking methods and how he preps for the day, and while I was waiting on my food to be prepared, Mr. Vito showed me the way he cooks.

His daughter is a real salesman, she introduced me to her father's newest creation, "The Vegi Chicken Burger." It's made from real chicken where he pulls out all the fat and other parts of the chicken.

Anyway, I ordered the Vegi Chicken Burger and it was so good. This chicken burger is not a regular chicken patty that you get from some grocery store or food warehouse, this chicken burger is made in house and it's a perfectly thick portion of a patty.

If you need to change how you eat and want food that will not raise your blood pressure, (Vito told me that he does not add seasonings to his food but will add seasoning upon request) then I suggest you come down to Bert's Steak & Sub House, a real and authentic Italian Restaurant.”

“Most of the time it's pretty good. Every now and then though they're just okay. And rarely the chicken tastes rubbery, but maybe 1 out of 10 times. I still risk going there on that off chance, especially for the lunch specials. ~$7 a good-sized portion of rice and meat/veggies, and a can of soda. Take-out only and I always pay with cash.”

When we checked in we had to call maintenance to have our safe unlocked and we got talking about a place for good Chinese food, and he recommended this place to us. Good choice we went over and found the place, did not look like much from the outside or inside, but we decided to try it. Glad we did, one of the only places down here where my husband can get Pepper Steak w/Onions.... Me, I went with chicken and broccoli. Both came with pork fried rice. Price was very reasonable for the amount of food that you got, only downfall is that they do not have much seating so we had to get it to go. Was plenty for lunch and we both had it the next day for breakfast heated up... Still was very good heated up. We will definitely return for take-out when in town.....”

“So I came across this spot from a Facebook page. Think his name was JL Jupiter, I hope I didn’t chop his name up. I ordered the same exact platter he had and boy was it SLAPPING!!! Chicken was crispy even with the sauce and they were some of the best plantains I’ve ever gotten from a Chinese store they were so fresh! So I went here twice once during the day and the atmosphere was fine. The store was quiet and very clean. I then went at night with my son and there were people inside eating cool it’s obviously addicts, not judging but driving all the way there to pick up my food and seeing people sitting inside eating with open sores kinda turned my stomach. However, that half an hour drive wasn’t going to go to waste. I just said my grace real good!!

“Definitely call ahead. Or you’ll be waiting for at least 20 minutes. They’re parked infront of a school and are usually open until like 11 pm if they are not sold out ofc. Chimis have been good every time. I’ve gotten the chicken Chimis. I’ve also had the yaroa, I do recommend.”
