“We found this amazing spot by mistake and so happy we did.. the food is always delicious and fresh and the owner is the nicest person, she’s always welcoming and accommodating. As a vegan the owner always ensures that my meals are just that.. vegan! After only the second visit she recognized us and made us feel like friends. I would recommend Chok Dee Thai to anyone looking for a casual yet delicious dining experience.“
“TLDR: Local spot in Pal Park that specializes in knife-cut noodles (kalguksu) and thick dough flakes (sujebi). Yukaejang noodles, clam noodles, mandu.Friend in the area recommended this place and we checked it out one weekend. I like restaurants that specialize really in one thing and don't fall into the trap of having a menu with 80 items on it.The mandu was adequately filled, thin wrapper, steamed, local mom/pop shop flavor. Great. The tonkatsu that I got a few bites of was thinly coated, crispy, tender - solid. The yukaejang kalguksu. This is a big portion, it's got good heat, it's rich, it's flavorful. Definitely the main thing I'd recommend here and why this guy goes here all the time. The clam kalguksu (or sujebi) was equally tasty. That broth is nice and rich with clam juice, anchovy flavor - a perfect pairing with either the noodles or those thick doughy bites. My only regret is I don't live closer to here because I'd probably be a regular too.“
“This place is the real deal. You will definitely see Japanese eating here because it is the most authentic soba/udon shop in NJ. I love the cold soba sets which you can pair with things like shrimp tempura or a raw salmon bowl. My daughter prefers the hot udon sets. Love Soba Azuma. One of my favorite spots in NJ. Wish they had a location by Edison.“
“This restaurant is amazing , with amazing service , and an amazing atmosphere. This place is an amazing pick for ramen noodles if you’re craving. The wait time was much shorter than I expected because most other ramen restaurants. The atmosphere is great, with even a cool ramen bar that most other ramen places don’t. I highly recommend the this place to anyone who want extremely delicious and good quality ramen noodles for a good price.“
“I adore Menya; they are my go-to place in New Jersey for ramen. They have great takeout, but I also eat there a lot. At their Parker Ave location, I enjoyed their lobster miso ramen, which was a special release. It was quite tasty! It's not surprising that everything tasted amazing because they always do a fantastic job. If you haven't already, I highly suggest looking them up!“
“First time visiting this gem and it was GREAT! Service is A1. Since it was my first time trying this food I asked the waitress for their recommendation. She was very kind and couldn’t go wrong with her suggestion. I loved it! Prices are reasonable.“
“This place is amazing! I had the chili wontons and omg! The wonton is so juicy and the chili sauce is so tasty! Also had the fried chicken rice bowl Which was really good. The service is a bit slow because they're so busy. The ambiance is ok. No one actually sitting and eating. Luved it and can't wait to go back!“
“The signiture sushi rolls were delicious, generous portions of fresh fish, delicious rice and great unique presentation. Seaweed salad and miso soup were also great. One of the best sushi spots in the area and prices are decent, will be back“
“I have dined in and had take out from here multiple times. The staff and manager are very friendly and helpful. The pho is great! They give generous portions of protein. I recently had their special which was a beef short rib pho. It’s was very good and fell off the bone. See picture. The restaurant is spacious and there is plenty of room and parking.Parking: Street parking and paid parking garage directly behind location. Parking“
“I tasted cold noodles that taste better than those in Korea!!:) Warm up with delicious broth on a windy day. Not only do they have cold noodles, they also have a variety of Korean food menus! In addition, it was a Christmas filled with the kindness and warm hearts of all the staff. Thank you so much for giving me potato pancakes as a service on Christmas day and providing hot water to use for reheating baby formula!!“
“Whenever we don't feel adventurous but simply crave some comfort food, Cho Cho San Noodle House would be our top choice. Actually this is the the closest location for us to secure a nice bowl of Laksa, or the closest Laksa-taste-alike (it's called "Malaysian Spicy Miso Ramen" on their menu). We never order from their "Entrees" section, as those dishes are more catered for people unfamiliar with authentic Asian food. We mostly focus on "Appetizers", "Dim Sum" and "Noodle Soup" categories that feature dishes from many Asian countries. Steamed Vegetable Dumplings are never absent on our visit. I have always marveled at the texture of their noodles - soft yet springy, never soggy, always the right degree of chewiness - and even wanted to ask them about the supplier, so I could order some for my home cooking haha! This is also one of the more traditional Chinese restaurants, where they still serve you a free bowl of deep fried crackers with duck sauce. It's always busy there - as many take-out orders as dine-in customers - but the service is always friendly and orderly, never frantic or negligent. The decoration is tasteful, with traditional paintings and calligraphy on the wall and lamp shades.“
“This is my favorite Korean Restaurant in Fort Lee. The food is fantastic and the service is great. Atmosphere is casual yet sophisticated.Dietary restrictions: Options available for gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, and pescatarian dieters.Parking: Free parking lot in the back but can become full. Paid street parking and paid lots also available.Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator available through the back entrance.“
“Food was one of the best ever. Good quality and worth the price. Love the Thai Iced Tea, not too sweet. Spicy glass noodle salad is a must.I've been here twice.Got different server each time. Both of them wasn't really attentive.Hard to get their attention even it's not busy. Might consider just a take out next time so I don't have to waste money on tips when I barely get a service.“
“The sushi here is a work of art - every piece is fresh, expertly crafted, and bursting with flavor. Whether you’re a sushi connoisseur or a newbie, there’s something for everyone. The Rock and Roll Signature Roll is a must-try; the combination of flavors and textures was simply mind-blowing.“
“Fantastic uptown sushi restaurant with fresh, quality cuts of seafood and tasty sake. You can see the staff making fresh Ramen noodles and broth daily. There are limited seats, but don't worry as plenty of bar stools are available. Sushi platters are great value and I absolutely loved the tempura prawn roll with avocado... The perfect mix of fresh, spicy and crunchy.“
“Food is great and it’s truly Japanese, comparing to other counter parties i.e. the way sashimi is cut, miso soup and small side dishes. We ordered sushi regular, Hire Katsu and spicy tuna salad. All were good. No picture for spicy tuna salad because it was so good I forgot about it ?“
“Phenomenal! I appreciate every aspect of this restaurant! The owner really understands quality food and quality service. My group was in a time crunch and needed to be in and out. He graciously allowed us to preorder our food and had it ready for us upon our arrival. The food itself is authentic, fresh and FULL OF FLAVOR. I barely had to look for the owner when I needed something, he was anticipating our needs instead of waiting for us to ask, which is so rare in service now. The location is great corner venue with parking, outdoor seating. Inside is very nicely designed with cute tea pots and beautiful lighting. Another plus is there are outlets beneath the booth sides so you can plug in devices while your there too. This place does it right, do yourself a favor and try it out!“
