“Best chinese takeout around!Been coming here since I was a little kid (over 25 years). Food is good, portions are big. Your beef or chicken with broccoli actually comes with sizable amounts of beef/chicken. Other places just load up on broccoli to keep their profits. You can't go wrong!“

“I've been coming g consistently to The Great Wall in Dumont for about 5 6 yrs. Ever since the new owners took charge of the business restaurant & property they've always ? provided one of the most delicious ? Chinese food experience I've ever had. That's why I've always come again & again. The service is fast reliable professional & organized. Whether take- out or eat in. ( delivery option is fast / reliable)“

“The noodles are amazing, and every dish is customizable. I love the scallion ginger, but I've had other flavors too. I ALWAYS get the seitan, it is so good! I think they make the seitan in house, there's something unique about the texture.“

“Food was good. Sweet and sour chicken: chicken was cooked well and seemed like better quality than other places. Sauce flavor was not amazing. Everything else was pretty good and authentic Hong Kong dim sum. Staff look professional and you can tell they work hard. I have to be back on the weekend to try the baked pork buns! “

“We were staying at the Tarrytown house estate and decided to visit Goosefeather for dinner, not having any idea about the restaurant other than that it was located on-site. As Chinese-style martial artists, we were pleasantly surprised to see the Cantonese -fusion menu options as we walked in. Unfortunately, we did not have reservations, but we were able to sit at the bar. What an auspicious turn of luck! The bar offers not only the full menu, but the chance to watch professionals at their craft. We were taken care of by Mariana and Sara, who were busy yet still highly attentive. They were very knowledgeable about the menu, and explained everything even before our questions had a habce to leave our lips. We started with some standard drinks (a spicy martini, and one of their mocktails with Ron Zacapa rum added in). Solid pours, balancing the flavors of the drinks with adequate alcohol to keep things fun). Next week ordered the spicy rice cakes and the potstickers. Each was perfectly done. The potstickers were crispy but not burnt, and paired with a just-right spicy Chinese mustard. There were four per serving, which served to whet out appetites while leaving us waiting for more. Next, we got the spicy rice cakes. These were just hot enough to let the tongue know, but the spice built pleasantly. The plate was pretty big, and the two of us had more than one or two helpings each. Finally, we had the Crying Tiger Tuna. The lightly seared and seasoned tuna was paired with avocado salad, pickled gooseberries, and sweet goji berries. Delicious! To cap it off, we switched up our drinks for two of their signature cocktails. Sweet emotion is a pumpkin espresso martini with a smoky bubble of deliciousness in top. Love in an Elevator is a wild rum ride of flavors I'd never think to blend, such as apricot, chocolate, and lemon. Overall, while pricey, the experience, the food, and the atmosphere made it worth it! As a bonus, we were watched over by a really cool portrait of Bruce Lee!“

“I really like Lucas Sin, so I was expecting this place to be a little more. My expectations aside, the staff was overworked even after 8:30pm, but they were still courteous. I would say this place would still rank much better than Panda Express (there's one down the street), given that this is kind of like a make-your-own type of place (think Sweetgreen, DIGG, etc.) but with a proper Chinese flair (again, contrast with Panda Express).
I would say that the seating area was a little not well-maintained, but you are served with a bowl used for a take-out anyway, so just take it to a place you feel more comfortable eating.
Vegetarian options: Build-your-own, others are clearly marked on the menu.
Dietary restrictions: Vegan.“

“I came here for lunch with my swim team and everything was amazing. The atmosphere, the service, the company, and the food. It’s like a Chinese style Chipotle, where you can customize your own bowl or try a signature dish. The staff was super friendly and the artwork on the wall was eye catching. Would recommend coming here! The only thing is it’s a little pricey and if you want to add meat or seafood to your bowl it costs a few cents extra.“

“Affordable and insanely tasty soup dumplings (xiao long bao). The scallion dumplings are a who other level too. Not sure why their overall score is mid. It’s not a high end but isn’t that the point. Mid interior. Staff are helpful and completely on bothered by hoopla over their yummy food. Chow mein and beef with scallions also memorable. Kid friendly.“

“One of the more unique place in the Bronx. Its actually a hidden gem and I'm surprised it hasnt gone viral. If youre asian and dont speak spanish here, they're gonna mess with you.
Parking: if youre not local, its best to just uber or take the subway here. Not really worth getting your car messed up or waste time driving around to find parking.
Kid-friendliness: kid friendly. space is limited.“

“This is hands down the best charcoal-style Chinese BBQ skewer spot in the U.S.! We’ve been multiple times and it never disappoints. The meats are always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the service is consistently excellent.
Parking can be a bit tricky, but it’s a small inconvenience for such an amazing dining experience—it doesn’t affect my five-star rating at all. Truly a hidden gem. Highly recommend!“

“I was in the area to drop somethin off and decided to go back over to this spot
Haven’t been in years
Maybe a decade who knows
But yea …the food is delicious but they gotta lay off the fillers
Like it be feeling like I have a rock in my stomach 15 min after eating
Like chill
We could eat two plates normally and be full we don’t need the extra additives so u could get us out the restaurant omg
Couldn’t even walk right cuz of them fillers in the food“

“We ordered like 5 or 6 things. Everything was very good to excellent. Essentially the same quality as Soup Dumpling plus, a smaller menu/seating, but nowhere near the same crowd. Service is very good, we love the manager! You cant find better soup dumplings than here in this area without having to wait. Everything all homemade and legit authentic. Their spicy szechuan dumplings are the best you can find in NJ and they offer rare and delicious sauteed snow pea leaves and watercress... Their crab/pork soup dumplings are slighty larger but have a thin chewy wrapper, lots of broth - are phenomenal.“

“My go-to takeout place for noodles after work. They are relatively quick and have consistent quality food - though the medium spice varies tremendously. Delicious noodles, wings, tea, and other street food they offer, can’t go wrong.
Very friendly and understanding staff, highly recommended eating in as well, though I personally only get takeout weekly.“

“I’ve been coming here from when I used to go to Tenafly Middle school. This place was my go to for after school snack.
Price is still amazing for lunch deals around $8~$12, portions are generous, and ultimately foods are great.
It’s been more than 10 years but I’ll still come to Tenafly just for Good Taste general chicken tsp combo.
Highly recommended.“

“I've lived in Fair Lawn my whole life and never visited up until a couple months ago. I went to a place in Saddle Brook which is also great. But that place was closed on a Monday so I came to Great Wall. Very happy. Reasonably priced and delicious. NOT SALTY! I can't tell you the difference in the quality of food. The owner is such a sweet person too. Always smiling and thank you. Give it a try!!!“

“This is a great location. Service is great plus it’s always busy. My theory is, when you visit a panda express location that’s busy. The food is being consistently made. So you’ll get fresh made food every time. Versus going somewhere that has no foot traffic. The food is sitting under a hot lamp for a while so it won’t taste that great.“

“OVER 33 years my dad has been going to this Chinese spot. Anytime we have visitors my dad would order takeout from here and they would love it. My entire family loves it! You don’t hear of people going to a restaurant for decades! Well this is the spot! The sweet and sour chicken is what I ate since I was little, it’s the best I’ve ever had and I’m a foodie!“

“I was looking online for a Chinese food place with great reviews when I first heard of Bamboo House. It’s only been a few times that I’ve been able to stop in since I don’t live close, but whenever I’m in Ridgewood, I like to get something to eat here. It’s tough to find a truly great Chinese restaurant & this place lives up to the hype. The portions are generous, the dishes are saucy & flavorful & fresh. What really seals the deal for me though is the service; they are kind & friendly in a warm, sincere way. Bamboo House has been in business for a long time, for good reason. 10/10“

“If you’re looking for a dining experience that will leave you craving more, Soo Show Garden is the place to be! We come every two weeks because the food is simply unbeatable. The soup dumplings are a must-try—delicate, thin-skinned pockets filled with rich, savory broth and tender meat that explode with flavor in every bite. It’s a comforting dish that’s perfect for any occasion. Their eggplant dishes are another standout—soft, perfectly cooked, and bathed in a luscious, slightly sweet sauce that makes each bite unforgettable. The food alone is reason enough to visit, but what truly sets Soo Show Garden apart is the warm and friendly owner. She always greets you with a smile, making you feel like family, and her care shines through in every dish. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, you owe it to yourself to experience the food and hospitality at Soo Show Garden—it’s a place that’ll keep you coming back!“

“Great delicious chinese food I had pork fried rice and General Chaos Chicken with wonton soup and an egg roll . Everything was very good as far as the food . The bathroom was smelling like mold and area where you eat was ok atmosphere not great but food was great . Service was good lady brought our food to the table which was nice of her. its not a place where they have waitresses its order at the counter only to go or eat in . Place is open later than most restaurants in the area too and alot of parking on the street.“

“I have been eating here since the pandemic. The food is just amazing. Fresh and tasty. The lady in the front even remembers my mother and my whole family. She asks about my mom every time I come in. If I could say any more positive things about this place I would. I do not eat any Chinese food from anywhere else.“
