“This place is a treat! We got a recommendation to try out Corto by a Jono Pandolfi Ceramics staff and it was worth it!!

Hands down the best Rigatoni I’ve ever had. It always hits the spot for me. We tried almost all items on their menu, but there is always new dish to try since their menu changes based on the season. The whole sea bream and pork shoulder are delightful as well.

Being so popular, you have to make a reservation in advance. Again, it’s worth it!!
Corto is byob, so you can pick up a bottle of wine at a cute wineshop around the corner.

“Wonderful Italian restaurant near the water in Long Island City. Definitely recommend setting a reservation as this place does fill up. The restaurant staff show great professionalism They were warm, attentive, and welcoming, providing prompt service. The cocktails were strong but both tasty and refreshing. From the pizza to the tartare to the pasta, everything was freshly prepared and full of flavor. It’s literally nothing like authentic, freshly prepared pasta and they nailed it. Definitely high on my list of top Italian spots I have experienced.“

The staff is nice, the manager or owner was kind enough to bring us blankets when we got chilly while eating and watching the marathon runners today. “It’s a restaurant that’s reminds me of my childhood and my early Twenties that was my go to Italian restaurant. I loved everything about this place and enjoyed the great food. I took my wife to celebrate our birthday together and talked about how amazing it was growing up in this neighborhood.“

“Dinner with a large-ish party (7ppl) on a Sat night - excellent overall. Terrific waiter (charming Serbian fellow), delicious food, warm buzzy ambience, great FOH staff too. Good cocktails; to start loved Patrick’s Focaccia, the 24 mo. Prosciutto di Parma, fritto misto, fluke crudo and escarole salad; for mains, all the pastas were great as were the heritage chicken, the swordfish and the porchetta. Great experience, will def return.“
