“It’s a restaurant that’s reminds me of my childhood and my early Twenties that was my go to Italian restaurant. I loved everything about this place and enjoyed the great food. I took my wife to celebrate our birthday together and talked about how amazing it was growing up in this neighborhood.“

“We happened to be walking by on a Friday night and my husband pointed it out. Our pasta was fresh and delicious and served so quickly. The staff was beyond attentive and professional. The bathrooms were gorgeous and clean. It delivered on all aspects. We had Zeppole with lemon curd for dessert and it was unreal!“

I think it’s because the very upscale, almost uptight atmosphere didn’t quite match the quality of the food which was good, but not exceptional. They gave me a complimentary piece of cheesecake with a candle for my 35th. They even sang happy birthday. It was a dining experience that I will never forget. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Wonderful Italian restaurant near the water in Long Island City. Definitely recommend setting a reservation as this place does fill up. The restaurant staff show great professionalism They were warm, attentive, and welcoming, providing prompt service. The cocktails were strong but both tasty and refreshing. From the pizza to the tartare to the pasta, everything was freshly prepared and full of flavor. It’s literally nothing like authentic, freshly prepared pasta and they nailed it. Definitely high on my list of top Italian spots I have experienced.“

“I just noticed that this place offers breakfast, and was able to try it yesterday. I was impressed! Really enjoyed the omelette, and the decor and atmosphere was pleasant. Definitely has a European vibe to it. Free refills on the coffee would have made it perfect, but otherwise a 5 out of 5 experience!“

“We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. The flavors and taste are just the best. No matter what you order you will not go wrong. The service is top notch and Rocco and his staff are just the best at what they do. “A much-anticipated and much-enjoyed lunch at Santi. Every staff member was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and all with proper discretion. I felt really well taken care of during my entire visit.

The tonno was presented beautifully, and is a perfectly composed dish. The textures and flavors align to a really satisfying bite.

And the busiante was divine - unctuous and rich without being too heavy. My only regret was that it was too early in the day to enjoy with a glass of barolo. A reason to return!

The seasonal focaccia was also an excellent touch. Can’t wait to come back!“

“Stopped in for a drink and to try out the red sauce at Cotta. We love that the portions are reasonable here and they have small plates as well. We had an excellent IPA from Vermont and a mule. Then shared a bowl of the best bolongese with fresh ricotta. Amazing red sauce here.“

Prosciutto di Parma, fritto misto, fluke crudo and escarole salad; for mains, all the pastas were great as were the heritage chicken, the swordfish and the porchetta.
