“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

The shrimp taco wrapped in seaweed paper was so fresh tasting,crunchy and absolutely delish. Fried rice served in your own skillet and you mix the egg in was the best! The smores waffle with homemade custard ice-cream was to die for. Bartender Robbie is a pro mixologist with really new style drinks. This place was a treat and I cant wait to go back. We got the High Mixed appetizer and the chicken pad Thai. The sampler was good. Spring rolls were good and the dumplings were good. Couldn't do the crab for seafood allergy but the fourth item, we didn't like. It was the texture and didn't have the flavor I was expecting based on the presentation. Service was ok. They had a little bit of a crowd and got them out of there promptly. The pad Thai was really good. It had the perfect amount of flavor and it was light. We needed it to be light because it is hot outside and we still have a lot of walking to do. Overall, it was good. That last item on the High Mixed can go.“

“The restaurant was a bit confusing at first since each of its three floors caters to a different experience. We ended up on the first floor because we wanted food, beer, and cocktails, and the staff said that was the best option.
The service was friendly, and our food arrived surprisingly quickly. As for the food itself, it was good across the board, but nothing really stood out or left a lasting impression. The oyster omelette was begging for a sauce and the arancini that the server recommended wasn’t very good. Something in it tasted weird, we inquired out of curiosity but were given a list of ingredients that didn’t solve the puzzle. However, the sausage brothers and fried platter were pretty tasty. The drinks, on the other hand, were much more memorable. They were creative, well-made, and most of them tasted great.
I'd say this isn't a place I'd go out of my way to visit for the food alone. But if you're looking for unique drinks with a few snacks to share, it's definitely worth checking out.“

Two favorites were the spicy phu with vegetables and the mixed in bulgogi with rice.

But our plates were full, they were not stingy with the food at all. And the chef making the food is so kind funny and does a couple cool tricks. I the food is really good 10/10 love this place.“

The portion was honestly perfect for me and my boyfriend satisfying, balanced, and filling without feeling overly heavy. If you want more, they also offer plenty of add-ons to customize your hotpot further.

What makes this style of hotpot so unique is its history and philosophy. Coconut chicken hotpot originates from Hainan cuisine, where food is known for emphasizing freshness, clean flavors, and natural ingredients rather than relying heavily on oil or intense spice. We chose udon noodles instead of rice, and it was absolutely the right choice. The thick chewy noodles soaked up all that flavorful coconut chicken broth beautifully. Every bite felt warm, silky, fresh, and incredibly satisfying.

They also have a sauce bar available if you want to customize your dipping sauces, though it does come at an additional charge. Personally, the broth itself was already so flavorful that it barely even needed sauce, but it’s a nice option if you enjoy mixing garlic, scallions, soy sauce, chili, or sesame-based dips with your hotpot.
