Their Detroit-style pizza is seriously impressive—the crust has that perfect combination of a crispy, cheesy edge with a light and airy interior. It’s not the heavy, overly greasy square pizza you might expect.

I also love that they put a creative spin on their menu while still keeping the classics strong. From the traditional pepperoni to more adventurous combinations, there’s a lot here for both the classic pizza lover and someone who wants to try something different. “We ordered for the first time tonight from Sammy, former proprietor of JuJu’s Bagels now transformed into El Toum. We ordered 4 items and they were ready for pickup in less than 25 minutes. The Mixed Kebab platter, Kofta Burger with fries, Falafel Sandwich with extra tahini sauce, and El Toum Appetizer were refreshingly homemade, tasted delicious, and proved outstanding bangs for the buck. More than enough food for a family of four with leftovers. This is a very welcome addition to a neighborhood missing this kind of fare. I highly recommend supporting this local business. “Delicious Authentic Middle Eastern falafel and shawarma. It's a place that focuses on just that, but does it really well. Every element of the 'sandwich' is made to perfection! The pita is fresh and warm, the shawarma is cooked perfectly on the rotisserie, and each topping is delicious- the humus, tehina, amba, onions... plus ... served with a smile! Open late too!“

In the restaurant, you feel as if you are in Egypt or any other Arab country. “This is a great restaurant. It's casual but the food is very high quality and delicious! My son had the Lava Chicken Shawarma Arabic and I had the Vegan Arabic Sandwich. We got the combo for each (with fries and a drink) and the total price was $40. The vegan sandwich was amazing - lots of vegetables and falafel - all seasoned wonderfully. FIVE STARS! after having Tawook Chicken or Lamb Kabob for dinner I like to take home some Mouhamara and some hummus, especially on a Friday, for snacking.
