The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming—it’s the perfect spot for family gatherings or catching up with friends. We’ve tried different dishes every time we’ve visited, and they never disappoint. Here the food is different not the usual curry dish or sate and oh soooo good.
Loved the 2 shrimp dishes we ordered, the shrimp cake as appetizer was excellent.

“I am vegetarian and love to get the scallion and ginger stir fry with seitan. You can order it light/med/high spice level to your preference. The noodles are so tasty and you can really tell they are fresh. The mango tea is an awesome lightly sweetened beverage addition to balance the spice of the noodles.“

“The food here was excellent. I got the Pad Thai and it was one of the best I've ever had. Their appetizers are all very good. I'd highly recommend going here on a date or family dinner. Menu is a little pricy but worth it.“

“Came on a weekend and was sat down immediately. Liked that the service was really fast. Got the suan cai and fish rice noodle, and it was delicious. The noodles were so flavorful and really hit the spot for a sour noodle. Also shared the popcorn chicken with two others, and those were done well as well. Definitely a great place for Chinese food.“

“I was the last customer and they still greeted me with a smile and welcoming atmosphere and was really quick with the food. First time trying it and the food was delicious Like I still can’t forget about it I wish they have way more locations in Brooklyn🥹. I got beef (mid spice) and chicken (mild), both with rice and the cucumber salad and dumplings 🥺 the best I had ever had🔥♥️ Definitely taking all of my friends and family there🤤“

“The restaurant truly exceeded all expectations and left a lasting impression. The atmosphere was both cozy and sophisticated, making it an ideal setting for any occasion, whether casual or special. The staff were not only knowledgeable about the menu but also went above and beyond to ensure our experience was seamless and enjoyable. Every dish we tried was a masterpiece—beautifully plated, seasoned to perfection, and packed with rich, authentic flavors that showed off the chef’s expertise. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh, and the menu offered a perfect balance of classic dishes and creative innovations. Even the smallest details, from the perfectly chilled drinks to the warm bread served at the start, were carefully thought out. The dessert menu was equally impressive, with indulgent options that were the perfect ending to a flawless meal. Overall, this restaurant is a gem, and I can’t wait to return!

“This is one of my favourite restaurants in Flushing! (which is saying a lot) I probably come by at least once a month if not more frequently.
They can be a bit busy during peak lunch/dinner hours on weekdays, but service/turnover is quick and they are efficient with using the shared long table in the centre of the restaurant, so I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seated.
I usually get one of the guo qiao rice noodle (過橋米線) options - obviously that’s their speciality; my favourites are the fatty beef 肥牛過橋米線 and the “xiu cai” 秀才過橋米線.
Each order comes a bunch of ingredients - meat(s) and small plates of side toppings - separately from broth and the rice noodles. Some orders on other tables had the dishes plated on a small wooden (eponymous) bridge or a staircase, which looked super cool!
After they bring all the food to your table, the waitress puts in all the ingredients, meat, and noodles in the broth in front of you and mixes. This is traditionally part of the guoqiao rice noodles experience, and I guess this is also good if you like taking aesthetic food spread photos, because the final product doesn't really showcase all the yummy toppings.
Anyway, it’s always super delicious. The broth is really rich and smelled wonderful; not too salty or oily, and it was nice to sip on each bite with the noodles and at the end of the meal as well.
Fatty beef was super delicious - very thinly sliced, tender, juicy, and its flavour cooking in the soup really made the broth just that extra bit savoury. The other cuts of meat (e.g. sliced pork, fish) are all pretty good, but nothing spectacular.
The toppings are also really solid. The 香酥 (I have no idea what this is called in English but the crispy/fried brown thing) was surprisingly tasty; not too oily or heavy and paired really nicely with the broth. I also like the tofu skin, wish they would have given more.
Overall a very great meal and very filling - portion sizes are already pretty big, and I think you can ask for more noodles for free (although I’ve never done so). Price point is super affordable, and for such a nice sit-down place in Flushing I think it's more than worth every dollar.“

“Big portions (for me), I was about 70% full and I found more noodles and beef at the bottom. The broth was pretty delicious. I got the classic spicy beef noodle with the spicy level toned down. They were very generous with the amount of beef, there was also crispy peanuts.“

“Food was great. But make sure to order non spicy if you normally do mild or medium. Their mild tasted like hot to me… affordable price with limited seating. But the rice noodles were amazing. Had to take one star off because of the extreme heat. I was sweating by simply sitting there and eating the noodles :(“

“I love Thai food in general and I have had a lot of it a lot of different places. This is the best chicken pad see ew I think I’ve ever had. The view of 1st Ave is super cute and they played great music so I can’t have asked for a better atmosphere and vibe. The service was lovely and fast. Presentation of the food was also a step above and the place is super clean. I’d highly recommend and I hope I come back soon too. Only complaint was $6 for a sparkling water which I didn’t realize I’d be charged for. Oh well. I’ll skip it next time.“

“Currently my favorite restaurant in LIC at the end of 2024. Portions are large and prices are on the lower end. Juicy Lamb and Drooling Chicken are both really tasty. Surprised they're not that busy given the quality of the food, I guess it's the location but it's right next to a luxury high rise and very safe.“

“The noodles are amazing, and every dish is customizable. I love the scallion ginger, but I've had other flavors too. I ALWAYS get the seitan, it is so good! I think they make the seitan in house, there's something unique about the texture.“

“The store's handmade ramen is the most famous. Its beef noodles are very good and is everyone's first choice. The peanut butter spicy oil noodles are also very tasty and are our second choice. The scallion pancakes are also fried very crispy. Their soy sauce is Sweet soy sauce. General Tso's chicken is a favorite choice for children. The food is served quickly and the service is good at a reasonable price. Will come back again.“

“On a chilly winter day, Ji Bei Chuan is the perfect spot for hot, delicious soup rice noodles! Ji Bei Chuan offers some of the best fish maw soup, and they definitely don’t skimp on the fish maw, vegetables, and other ingredients.
The Fish Maw Soup Rice Noodles is a great example of the restaurant’s decent quality in food preparation. The noodle soup is filled with great portions of ingredients and a hot, hearty soup that actually tastes of fish maw. Their Fish Soup Rice Noodles also doesn’t disappoint. The soup is made with chicken and pork bone, and it goes really well with the abundance of vegetables and fish slices!
Overall, I’m eager to try out their other soup noodles on my next visit as well as their popular mixed noodles!“

“My family and I stumbled into this pho restaurant after a long day and with insatiable appetites. We fell in love. The pho is exactly what it should be: hot, delicious, and full of noodles. Since that fateful evening, not a month has gone by without visiting our culinary paradise. Everyone who works here is an absolute delight. Their smiles light up a room and they are quick to help in any way they can. I have celiac disease along with a dairy allergy and have been accommodated every time. I often go with a friend who is strictly vegetarian and he is happy by the number of choices available and by how delicious his meals always are.
I highly recommend stopping in!“

“Cute little spot right in the best area of Fort Lee with all the other goodies.
We tried 3 different types of ramen and the flavors were all so rich and concentrated, delicious. Eggs were perfectly cooked too, which is a must.
Tried yubu for the first time and was pleasantly shrouded surprised at how much I enjoyed it.
Crab croquettes tasted like crab fettuccine haha who wouldn't love that and the chicken karaage was nice and crispy. I'll definitely be back to bring my sister !“

“Great Uyghur food (similar to Uzbek/Georgian with a hint of Chinese thrown in). Highly recommend the laghman and pearl noodles (very chewy and flavorful). Lamb kebabs were perfect. Big plate chicken was spicy and tender, with more hand pull noodles dumped on top. Samsas were juicy and crispy. A great dish was the cumin mushrooms, highly recommend. Shout out to being open on Thanksgiving.“

“Hope you enjoy this story.
I got to know the Borgatti family due to a commercial that some of you may have already seen on Facebook. They used my voice for their limerick.
You can see the video and pictures here. While I live in Florida they shipped me down a couple boxes and my wife just made our first serving. Her Cuban flair added some garlic, red pepper and we topped it off with some delicious marinara sauce.
I grew up in Delaware with a mother who was surrounded in her youth by Italians in West Virginia and could make some incredible spaghetti and meatballs. However, I've never had ravioli this good!
If you get ever get up to New York City area, making an effort to go visit Borgatti's ravioli and egg noodles in the Bronx. Tell them Hank sent you.“

“This place has been around in Flushing for a while, and their rice noodles are still pretty good. That said, the broth could be richer—it used to have a deeper flavor, but now it feels a bit lighter and could probably be cooked a little longer. They recently launched some set meals, and for two people it came out to just over $50.“

“Visited here while solo travelling in New York a few months ago. I ended up making this my local evening eatery. The food was flavourful, the pork melted in your mouth and the broth for the ramen was so creamy. The prices are decent and the staff were lovely. Highly recommend this place and I can’t wait to visit again when I go back to New York.“

“My brother and I came here for steamy, wonton noodle soup on a cold evening in Flushing. At a 6:40 pm arrival, the staff was kind enough to take our order despite having to close 20 minutes later. We both ordered the three topping noodle soups: he had egg noodles and beef tendon while I had flat rice noodles and beef stew. We had wontons and fish balls in both of our soups as well.
I’m not embellishing when I say this—the food was spectacular. Broth was clean and comforting, beef was tender and flavorful, the wontons were bigger (and better) than expected, and the fish balls went really well with the soup. You could also spice it up with condiments too. For about $13, Maxi’s offers a superb deal. That’s right. They set the bar high.
Tl;dr: Maxi’s Noodle’s has some of the best wonton noodle soups you can get at an affordable price from a staff with incredible hospitality. With their small yet cozy interior, this place is perfect for cold, fall/winter nights. Go visit ‘em!“

“I recommend! The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy, and the staff is incredibly nice and attentive. The food is amazing, with rich, deep flavors.
My absolute favorite is the Braised Beef Basil (10/10)— savory and spicy, it’s a must-try! I’ve also had:
• Pad Kee Mao (8/10) – Very flavorful, but the noodles were a bit too chewy.
• Roti Massaman (8/10) – Delicious, but the cinnamon flavor makes it more sweet than spicy.
• Crispy Crab Rangoons (6/10) – Decent, but nothing special.
• Chicken & Shrimp Dumplings (5/10) – Just okay, wouldn’t order again.
• Pattaya Wings (7/10) – Pretty good, but not the best I’ve had.
• Panang Curry (7/10) – Tasty, but not outstanding.
Side note: I ordered the Braised Beef Basil all four times, and I’ve noticed the portion keeps getting smaller each visit! The amount of beef on the plate has noticeably decreased, which is disappointing. Because of that, I’ll be taking a break from it for now.
Overall, still a great spot with amazing flavors—I just hope they fix the portion sizes!“

“Great food at reasonable prices, though seating is limited with just a few tables available.
I tried the beef noodle soup, dan dan noodles, and pork potstickers, opting for light spice on both noodle dishes. While the beef noodle soup was satisfying, the real standouts were the dan dan noodles and pork potstickers.
The dan dan noodles had a perfect balance of spice and a rich, nutty flavor from the sesame paste and crushed peanuts, combined with savory ground pork. The pork potstickers were packed with flavor, wrapped in a delicate, thin wrapper that was perfectly crisped.“

“I gave this place five stars for one reason only: I wanted the people to read my review. If I gave one star, the review would be pushed back to the end. My review... Worst food we ever had in our lives!! Bland and expensive. It came with none of the toppings we ordered!! Tasteless and dry. I suspect the food was kept in the heat for most of the day. STAY AWAY FROM THIS S...HOLE!!!! It should be reported and closed. I can only imagine the unsanitary conditions of the place. Restaurants that do not care about the quality of their products do not care about hygiene.“

“We walked in and it was pretty vacant however, it was lunch time on a Monday so that wasn't much of a surprise. It had a large selection of noodles, if you walk in and see the wall you'll see all the various options and then some. It was a little ambiguous until we saw the kiosk. The food however, was amazing. We got the beef and the duck duck noodles. You do have to make your own noodles and the instructions are on the tray on how to do it. Would definitely try again!“

“Today was my fourth time coming here and I have not yet been disappointed. Every time we come we try to get something different but today we got Cream Cheese Roll, Crunchy Roll, Star Crispy Roll with spicy tuna, Mango Tango Roll, Jumbo Dynamite Roll, Orange Chicken Bowl, and Salmon Nigiri. Everything we had was soo flavorful and soo fresh. We don't have a lot of sushi places near where I live anymore so I'm happy I found this place. Staff is super friendly and I look forward to sitting and eating there. Thank you, don't ever change!!“
