“INCREDIBLE Indian food experience in New York! I ordered the Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. It was incredible! The server was very sweet and warned that while the Mango Lassi cocktail was delicious it was very sweet, she suggested a Mango Majito instead, which was absolutely DELICIOUS and not overly sweet at all.

The owner Syed came over and introduced himself, he personally thanked me for coming to his restaurant and offered me a free dessert, which was delicious as well.

Absolutely cannot recommend Cloves enough! I am very excited to bring my Indian food loving family in to enjoy!“

“After eating so much (pizza etc )we needed to eat something different, spicy and booked this gem,as it as near to our hotel. It was also our 40th wedding anniversary. We are from U.K. This was amazing perfectly cooked tasty home made authentic Indian cuisine. We had mocktails ( lavender was refreshing ). The tandoori lamb chops x4 were full meat seasoned beautifully and delicious. All other sides perfect too. Now in U.K. we hate restaurant Indian puddings they are usually bought in and awful/failure. After finding out the chef is the owner and a recipient Michelin star we were convinced to stay,try and this was the first time we have had authentic home made puddings; try Kulfi with rose water & also Indian rice pudding. The whole meal was exceptional great value and we will recommend this restaurant to anyone else visiting New York. Easy to find off Times Square /Broadway. Thanks for the rendition “ congratulations “ for our 40th. You are great ! A little gem of authenticity in big New York !“

“We enjoyed a pleasant lunch at Spice Symphony.
We are originally from Mumbai and this place took us back to our roots. The ambience, hospitality and taste were a 5/5.
The servers were attentive and prompt to respond.
We were a noisy bunch seated there because it was a family reunion, but the staff were still kind and accommodating. They made sure we felt at home and the rest of the restaurant guests were not inconvenienced by us.

My personal favourite is the Dahi Kebab, Palak paneer and Rasmalai.
I tasted the Chinese food from one of my cousin’s choices and relished the Hakka Noodles.

“I had the most amazing experience at Passarine! It’s a must-go. The modern take on Indian is incredibly creative and everything we had was outstanding. Decor is beautiful- from wallpaper to dishes-every detail feels very thoughtfully designed. The private room is especially stunning… and spacious yet very intimate! Standouts were the shrimp koliwada, crispy cauliflower, aloo dumplings and the chicken saagwala…all delicious. And you MUST save room for the Passarine Ice Cream sandwich! “I've been here twice so far with my family. Each time they have been exceedingly patient with my deaf relative and also have made custom dishes and revisions to menu items for various needs. (For instance, I can't have a particular common spice and they made my food without it.)

The waiter gave great recommendations to us. The plates are beautifully presented, and so appealing I forgot to take pictures for the most part -- we had to taste them immediately.

The portions are generous and flavors absolutely perfect. I highly recommend the pani puri, the lamb shank (perfection!), duck saag, and desserts.

We ordered a bunch of different appetizers and entrees and we shared them all. I was absolutely impressed. I totally enjoyed EVERY item. I especially liked the curry fish with coconut milk. Their waiter was really kind and patient with us but the food did take a little longer than we expected. Also when you come in to this restaurant you get a strong smell of their Indian spices and overall food which might throw away some people but definitely not me.“

We were seated at one of four tables on the ground floor (looked like more seating on the 2nd level). The staff was super nice and when I was taking my food to go the server gave me some bonus palak paneer. If I ever come to NYC again I will absolutely stop here to eat. “Deepak made us feel right at home at his restaurant. Not only was the food amazing, the music was phenomenal, and Deepak saw me attempting to find out what song was playing using Shazam. He personally came up to me to tell me which song it was and where I could find it. After that, I asked him about his origins and his life decisions that brought him to the city. He told us his story, and asked us about ours. When he learned that we had just moved to NYC three weeks ago, he gave us two Rice Pudding (kheer) desserts on the house.
