“We are never disappointed when we stop here when we visit NYC. Atmosphere and food is always fantastic and they make killer Manhattans. We just went for the 2023 Rockefeller tree and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. so happy they were decorated for the holidays. 100% go to in our opinion.“

“Went out for a girls’ night and had such a great time at Dive Bar! The atmosphere was fun, the drinks were good, and the staff was amazing. The manager Jay made us feel so welcomed and made sure we were having a good time throughout the night. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and the service was great. “Had a reservation for during the week around opening. Went just for the drinks because we had dinner plans in the area we were early for. We got a few drinks all were great some on the happy hour some not. We also got some food items the corn cheese pancake a fav and the blood sausage rice cake which was also delicious. Looking forward to going back and trying other food and drinks. Its downstairs and has some fun decor. The service was friendly and a great vibe.“

“Tasty and filling, but with a few caveats. There were three of us, and we ordered four dishes family-style. The portions were generous, and we left very full with leftovers.

Everything was good, although nothing was especially memorable for me. I’d rank the bulgogi (japchae) first, followed by the Snowing Cheese Potato Pancake, Grilled Spicy Chicken, and sashimi. The seaweed rolls with the sashimi were tasty, but the fish itself was just okay.

The potato pancake had a surprisingly stretchy, almost mochi-like texture. It was a little jarring at first because it wasn’t what I expected, but it was interesting, and I can see why some people love it. It’s also a bit bland without a sauce. I might order it again for the texture, although I still have mixed feelings about it.

The Grilled Spicy Chicken was barely spicy despite being specifically labeled that way. Even our spice-sensitive friends agreed, so offering different spice levels might help.

A few smaller issues also added up: the music was extremely loud, and the first-floor elevator area had a very strong smell with wet, sticky floors. Near the stairwell, there also appeared to be a trash can with a large reddish puddle underneath it.

Overall, the food was good and generously portioned, but I’m not sure I’d return.

“I ordered the steak tacos and buffalo wings, and honestly, both were AMAZING\\! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The bar is to DIE FOR!!! Beautiful bar and the staff was also super friendly and I have to say, everyone working here is so attractive. “Bartley's is a gem in midtown Manhattan. The prices are slightly lower than you'll find nearby, the menu offers a nice variety, and everything I ate was absolutely delicious. “I went after 8 pm on a Saturday night and it was not too busy. Dining solo in front of the window to the kitchen I had a nice cocktail and skewers. Very tasty and fresh. Most friendly and efficient service. Plain rice would be nice ordered with skewers but sushi rice did in a pinch.“

The venue itself is absolutely fantastic for bigger gatherings and price-wise is one of, if not the most affordable rooftop venue in midtown. I didn’t get to try any of the food, but can confirm the drinks are great!
