“A big shout out to my best latin place in Hoboken: Chango Kitchen. Traditional yummy latin dishes. Our faves are churrasco con chimichurri (skirt steakgrilled) and ropa vieja (shredded beef). My kids loved "alfajores with dulce de leche", "tres leches" and hot chocolate with when it's cold outside. Service is warm and friendly. We can visit the place multiple times and never get tired. #supportlocal“

“The food was good, but they really need to do better about customer service. We had a party of Nine that wanted to dine-in. We were given no help only told us to put the table back after we moved them together ourselves to seat us. Luckily we dine in because we was missing a full order of Rasta pasta. My mom order okra and fish. We were missing the okra so they refunded me a dollar. As we were leaving the young lady approached me saying they gave her pumpkin that she didn’t order or want and asked for the dollar back. I was very surprised about that. As I said customer service was not up to standard.“

“Love this location!!! It’s closer to home. Originally went to the 56tg location for lunch on work. Sancia who used to work at that location is now at 57th and I jsut love her. Food: We got the Oxtail Rigatoni and Jerk Chicken with rice and beans. Incredibly delicious!! The food was incredibly fresh and tasty, even after 2 days in the fridge after we took leftovers, it tasted really good.

Drinks: Marvarita was really good, sugarcane spritz was warm and not very good, you can pass.

Atmosphere: We went at 5pm on a Sunday, there was live music, hilarious singer who complemented people sitting around.

Service: 11/10. Barbara(the owner) is lovely, she came and said hi, chatted with us and even took our order. Our server was Anthony, delightful man, felt like he was a cousin. we felt like we were so welcome and KNOWN in the restaurant.

Pricepoint: ridiculously reasonable esp being in Greenwich.

This will be our go to Jamaican spot from this point on.“

“Rotis (curry goat and shrimp) were actually very good and well-sized. The goat wasn't full of bones and good goat to potato ratio and the shrimp was cooked well (not chewy, no shells, cleaned). Very quick service and bonus for being open on Monday (but cash only). Doubles were on the drier side but still were good. Definitely will be coming back.“

“I always get good food from here. I saw that you got a bad review and I want to clear that up. They complained about the plantains being tough. I'm from the Caribbeans and I grew up on plantains so I know what to expect. They are a little tougher than other foods but I already know that. The Mac and cheese is a little dry though. I like mine a little creamier. Just bake it a little less, that's it. And it still tastes good. I have had other items on your menu and it is very good. Listen, I had a couple of coupons that you gave me on Uber Eats and they just disappeared. I enjoy your restaurant and those coupons help. You guys are good. Sometimes you have to tweak stuff a little and you'll be fine.“

“I went to La Mode BK for the first time on 8/6 — and I was right back the next day with a different friend. I think that says it all! The service, the ambience, the food, the drinks, the vibe… I love everything about this place.

The happy hour menu is both convenient and affordable, which is always a win. And can we talk about the ginger margarita and ginger martini? I’m obsessed with ginger, and both drinks were such a creative, flavorful twist — absolutely delicious.

The food is consistently delicious and made to order — no food sitting out on a heater waiting for someone to order. I’ve had the jerk shrimp, curry shrimp roti, jerk salmon, and other items and the food is always fresh, tasty, and plentiful. They sell juices and cake which are also amazing.
