I ordered a bagel with scallion cream cheese ($5.99), but most of the people ordered the cream cheese in a cup and added it themselves. Highly recommended for the taste, price, and atmosphere.“

We did have to wait a little before getting helped bc each group pretty much gets a little history of where the place started, and there's only one person who speak to the customers. The ice cream seems to be high quality and the cones are made to order! I personally don't prefer the cone texture, even though they're fresh they're still a little dense. Don't let the modest size of this slice if cake fool you, it filled me up proper, maybe because I had this after a meal but the cake itself was so tasty I had to endure finishing the rest of this because I did not want to waste this. Maybe this would have been best as a standalone snack but it was worth getting. I'll revisit again soon.“

“I went to the Crumbly Cafe & Bakery on Second Avenue this week for the first time. I ordered the feta and spinach bistro and it was one of the best baked goods I've had in a very long time. I was so impressed that I just placed an on-line order for 8 different items to try and can't wait to pick them up tomorrow. In addition, the wonderfully talented baker, Ms. Miriam and her lovely daughter, Mia, could not have been nicer and more welcoming. The baked ziti was really delicious, reminding me of my grandmom’s Italian cooking and much better than standard catering fare. “We live in nearby Dobbs Ferry, we have came by a few times for special occasions (birthdays, valentines, etc) and have not been disappointed. I wasn’t sure if Gluten Free, Non-Dairy and Kosher would taste different, for their cakes you hardly notice any difference than one that is not those things. It’s not an inexpensive place as evident by their locations but you get an excellent product from them which makes them worth going to.“

We totally understand that it's the end of the day and they want to go home, but it would be great if they could maintain their friendly attitude throughout the day., and that it only opens at 8 am, so work commute to grab a coffee becomes hard. I did a quick Yelp search and stumbled across Marimba Cafe - the new name caught my eye and the aesthetics and offerings here solidified my decision. I don't think I've ever come across a sit down Latin cafe here in Bergen County so to me, since moving away, it's the first of its kind. Also first of its kind to proudly offer CBD infused menu items. I believe they just opened in November! The vibes in here are immaculate. My favorite feature is the stone floor - it just transports you somewhere new! The color scheme in here is also appealing, and the Latin music made me want to dance while I took on meetings haha. Overall, really solid branding and concept. Since I was working west coast hours, I spent the whole afternoon into close here. It's a really great place to work as there were other people working remote. They have comfortable seating and outlets conveniently located along the booth. I will say though that the booth seating was just a tad too high for the table so it took some time getting used to. Also, they do play the music fairly loud (a must) in here so it can be a tad distracting if you're taking meetings and have to speak. Since I stayed here for over 5 hours, I was able to observe the sense of community Marimba has fostered - they greet customers like friends! I also saw on their Instagram that they host community events like paint nights and dance nights and support other local businesses with their La Placita Sundays. I love everything this business is about. I ordered the coquito latte hot and a pan de bono. The latte was solid and I wish the pan de bono was just a bit bigger! I would love to try more here. Congrats to the owners of Marimba, I wish the cafe tons of business and success! I definitely want to visit again when I'm back in town.“
