“My wife and I had the most lovely date night here. Customer service - for me - is what makes a place stand out in NY. Every single employee was the absolute best. So passionate, insightful and kind.
But yes. The food is also superb. Each dish is a little art piece. You can tell you are eating something that has been lovingly tested and improved upon. Such a treat.
And then the drinks. I had never heard of a single spirit on the menu. Had a blast jumping around and being taken on a ride.
And good hand soap. Gotta love good hand soap.
So yeah. It’s great. Check it out.“

“Beautiful meal. Usually I’m skeptical about Chinese fusion, but everything was executed perfectly at Lei. The celtuce had a delightful crunch, which was paired nicely with a rich, but light and slightly tangy sauce. The Cabbage with yuba and morels was also very warming and had a great depth of flavour without being too heavy. We also ordered the shao bing, which, while simple was delightfully crunchy and paired nicely with the slab of butter inside. The mains, however, were the real star of the show. Many come for the sweet and sour beef short rib, and I will say it’s a must order. It pairs wonderfully with the side of rice, and it is very tender and flavourful. The Hand-rolled cat’s ear noodle with lamb braised in cumin and tomato was also very special. The noodles come out perfectly al dente, and the broth is, again, rich and fragrant without being overbearing. Surprisingly, I also really liked the Eight treasure rice pudding with sticky toffee. It was a great twist on a traditional Chinese dessert, and the slightly salty caramel paired with the ice cream and sticky rice was a nice conclusion to the meal. The wines on offer were also excellent, especially the dessert wine. We tried a South African straw wine, which was very very special and unique. Overall one of my favourite meals in New York as of yet. Very innovative, very hard to book, but very worth it.“

“We went here for my birthday dinner and I just wanna say from the start. The interior of this place is adorable. It is super cozy feels almost like a very rustic cavity. Feel kitchen is wide open for you to see everything that we were cooking which I love I had pretty high hopes walking in here and it has a pretty good reputation. They also own the sister restaurant a penny upstairs who I think has one of the best desserts in New York City so I put this place pretty high on my expectations.
Everything my hand was decently good it was good. Nothing was mind blowing though. The pit was a starter. It was strong good portion for you get for pate and went great on the bread
The jamon or prosciutto was also really strong and delicious. However, after that, I forgot what these dishes were I can’t even name them looking at the pictures anymore. The pasta was decent. The problem is after I left this place. I almost forgot this meal totally if it wasn’t for the atmosphere. It wasn’t for the space that I loved so much. It would’ve been quite forgettable for me.
Of course, the one of the most famous things they have. Here is the chocolate cake. It is huge decadent delicious I’m not really a chocolate cake person and we definitely have to take home, but I really love eating it the next two days.
I do remember also having some kind of steak with blueberries on it. It felt great Thanksgiving and I don’t know it’s like berries on my steaks personal choice. It’s a personal choice.“

“amazing for apéro - Highlighting that the cheese plate was $22 with only one piece of cow’s milk cheese that was delicious, but not a sufficient cheese plate for that price!
Overall, very good wine and good appetizers but with small portions. Bread was good“

“Amazing and interesting menu. Each dish was exciting and fun. We realized after our meal that we accidentally ordered and ate all vegetarian. Get the cheezits and the squash rings! The schnitzel was delicious as was the carrot hummus. Whatever that chocolate caramel dessert with marshmallow on top is… GET IT! Maybe get two.“

“My wife and I went to the Grove in Los Angeles last night and we had dinner at "Sogno Toscana," an it was outstanding. It was perfect in every way; great food, great drinks, outstanding and friendly staff, beautiful location, etc. I love Italian food but I can't think of one Italian restaurant that I like, until "Sogno Toscano." The food was outstanding, and there was so much more we saw go by that we can't wait to go back and try. And the drinks were outstanding. I love martini's and they served the best martini I've ever had. Giacomo was our server and took great care of us. He's from Italy and "Sogno Toscana" brought him to America when they opened their New York restaurant, and now he's in LA for this new restaurant. Although very busy, the entire staff were very fun to be around, and most of them are Italian which is also great.“

“I'm a longtime neighbor who has been coming to the space since the late 2000s. I even liked whatever was going during late COVID years. I was emotionally boycotting the new menu because I loved Prime Meats. While I'll forever miss the pretzel and mustard, charcuterie platter, french fries and wursts and pickles, the new place has the same combination of new and reliable. The menu is outstanding and so is the service, cocktails and ambience. Thank you for the consistent excellence!“

“I absolutely loved coming here and will be coming back! My friend and I were looking for a nice establishment in LES to have our quarterly girl chat lolll. Although we did not make Jadis HH (happy hour), we still wanted to experience going to a wine bar. Our server/hostess, Natalie, was very lovely and made great wine suggestions for someone like me, who is not particularly knowledgeable about wine. She was very informative and attentive, which gave us a nice balance compared to other establishments where staff might be overbearing/neglectful. We started with the Kir Royal drink (Natalie's recommendation) and it was just what I was looking for :) The burrata appetizer, which was perfecttt. I ordered the Branzino Fillet, and my friend ordered the Skirt Steak (from the big plate section). We were highly satisfied with both of our meals. The crème brûlée and Moscato were a perfect way to wrap up dinner. Usually, when I eat out, I always have to take leftovers, but everything was the right portion. Not too small or large...just the right amount for you make room for the next thing lollll. It's a perfect place for date night or if you want a quieter place to catch up with friends. My friend and I honestly had no complaints about each dish and drink that was brought out to us. I wish I had taken more photos, but I was too lost in the sauce with how good everything was. Plus, I like supporting family-owned/small businesses as well :)“

“Overall rating: 4.8
My friend took me to this place for after-work drinks and it’s such a cute spot for the area. While the wine was tasty & the staff was so nice, no happy hour? Not even a small one? Cmon.
Definitely want to come back for a date if I’m in the area.“

“There were no alligators in sight, unfortunately, but the service was excellent. Emma and Lena (I think) were very welcoming. I was the first drip coffee order of the day (this was around 4pm), but they were still accommodating. Convenient location, a crisp air temperature, a carefully curated bookshop. Bread upon request. Also milk and/or cream upon request. And bathroom upon request. Good service, whether requested or not. Would recommend“

“This place is so phenomenal. The bites are exquisite - each one bright and balanced. The vibe is immaculate - charming and cozy and intimate. But what really sets Elvis apart is the service. Sam, the bartender, is one of the best in the business: kind, attentive, and easygoing. Every human I’ve dealt with there has been so caring and lovely. You can tell they enjoy coming to this place to work and I can understand why. I love hanging out here. Great to hang with friends. Phenomenal for a date night. You could really bring anyone here and have an exquisite time. Really fair prices too. 10/10“
“I will be coming back immediately! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. Shout out Stephanie - she let me charge my phone behind the bar and try the wines I was choosing between. And a beautiful outdoor seating area that was perfect for a Friday happy hour!“

“Lovely little place to have some wine and little bites or plates.
In Spain we are used to small places where you stay at the bar without sitting having dinner, a glass of wine or whatever; it was really nice having this experience in New York.
Food is good, wine as well, a bit expensive (portions are small… cheese board is a bit poor), but wait… it’s NYC it’s kind of normal.
The guys at the bar kind and smiley.
We enjoyed a lot our night and we were lucky to find a spot!“

“Sunday night bartender was incredible. It was pretty quiet inside so they were able to walk us through beers they thought we might like; I definitely have some new favorites! The bar itself was great; Grown up punk-rock vibe with a projection movie on the wall. Prices were very reasonable and the soft pretzel gave me life.
There isn't a big sign outside so look for the glass door with a black antler handle!“
“Coming to sauced brings a wholeness to that you’ve been searching for your whole life. It will shape you as a person, as a wine drinker, as a new yorker. The unpretentious front gives away when you enter and the sweet staff invites you to find your place. If you have later plans, cancel them because you won’t want to leave and all other experiences will diminish in mere thought. For any scenario, sauced is where you should be. For any night, you will be well taken care of. For a spectacular night, Pasha and Eric will redefine excellence.“

“I celebrated my bday with my besties in RH. I always wanted to visit. It looks so cuuuute and the chandeliers are nice touch. Make sure to dress up and take some pics. Food were pretty good. We got Caesar salad, Shrimp, salmon and French fries. Everything was delicious. Shrimp was too seasoned for my taste and overcooked. The server had excellent manners and gave us excellent customer service. I wish I remembered his name.“

“I’m honestly conflicted. While I want to give this place a rave review, I also don’t want it to get as crowded as it should be. 😁
The food is great! I was actually on my way to an other place & took a moment to peek at their menu & saw the raclette which immediately made me change my plans.
It was absolutely the right decision!
Not just is the food lovely though, with a nice variety of selections, but it is chic yet cozy & the service is outstanding. Ross was behind the bar and serving & he couldn’t have been kinder & more accommodating to my allergies.
So, you should absolutely give it a try if you are looking for a solidly good, low key place, with great vibes and food to match.“

They even took our group earlier than our reservation which was much appreciated as we were all from out of town and heading home immediately following lunch.
