“I truly love Gotham City diner, the atmosphere mirrors the delicious food along with the great service from the time you enter the diner and the food prices is not putting a dent in your pockets.
I consider myself a Diner’head because I prefer a diner over a restaurant any day. GC Diner Waiter/Waitress have a special kind of “let me get to know u while your here service, so that customers can keep coming back to Gotham City diner”.

Kid-friendliness: I’ve taken my grandnephews who was 2 yrs old and 11mths old at the time, and I’ve taken my grandson who is 1 yrs old now. High chairs were available for them; which was a huge plus for me.The 2 yr old now 4 yrs old enjoyed coloring his placemat while waiting for our food and he noticed the mural with Batman; so know when he visits he asks can we go to the Batman diner?“

“Came in here tonight and was cold outside. I had to get me a chicken sandwich. This was my first time coming here. I'm a def come back here. This food is FRESH FRESH.

I ordered the chicken sandwich with bacon, lettuce, onion, & tomato. It was too good.

Now look my good people we in Jersey. We also at a truck stop service plaza. So prices might be a little high, but this actually was on par with other places I go.

I paid $8.58 or something like that. They had the crinkle cut fries, but I wasn't in the mood.

So I just got the sandwich and nothing else. This place is highly recommended in my opinion. Come check them out.

“This place is absolutely amazing. No one needs to tell you that but what’s really cool is that my wife and I went and I’ve been drying out this September but still wanted an experience of trying a bunch of craft cocktails. They killed it. Every drink was so cool and I even bought one of the bottles (photo). It’s just super cool for a place this famous and established to still have a commitment to service so high they’ll cater to some clown who wants to explore off-menu, zero proof cocktails. Well done Blue Hill team, well done.“

“Food is amazing! Service goes above and beyond. Had the uni soba, truffle gnocchi, and the pork chop. Both noodle dishes were on the smaller side, but definitely worth every cent. The pork chop was massive, definitely would recommend sharing it.“

“Loved every dish- fluke with black tea, mint and peach(who knew raw fish and fruit went so well together?), amazing grilled artichokes and grilled eggplant. Barely touched my pasta with preserved lemon because I was full, but it was delicious. My daughter’s burger was iconic. The Platonic ideal of hamburgers. Coffee was also delicious. If we had not made a plan to go to La Cabral for dessert and more coffee, I am sure dessert would have been equally excellent.Service was excellent and our waitress was knowledgeable and interested in the food.The fluke reminded me of the first time I went to USC in 1988. I had a plate with raw marinated tuna, raw salmon and raw scallops. The little heaps of fish were so pretty on the plate with their contrasting colors.“

“The Portuguese wine dinner. Food and wine excellent . Joao is a very nice and great human being but he talks very little about his wines and answers all questions as a true s'enfoutiste. From that standpoint it was a real disappointment, I learned nothing about the domaine, the soil, the wines, the vinification process. But overall it was a great dinner with great company unfortunately not what I came for.“

“I visited RH New York on a tough day. I had just flown in from Atlanta for a funeral, and I stopped in before heading back to the airport. Their kindness and hospitality genuinely lifted my spirits. Even though the restaurant was busy, they accommodated me quickly, and the service was exceptional. The lobster roll with caviar was delicious, but it was the warmth of the staff especially Fidy and Manager Salvatore that made my heart smile.“

We've been staying in the Franklin Guesthouse (hotel adjacent to Madre) for a couple of nights and decided to give Madre a shot - boy were we in for a treat! Firstly, shout out to Armando, who made us feel immediately welcomed with his warmth and energy! For food, we got the Frutti di Mare, Croquetas, Brussels Sprouts, Cornbread Madeleines (compliments from chef) and Chicken - massive MASSIVE props to Chef Bryan and his very talented team. To say that they cooked "well" would be the understatement of 2022. They absolutely blew our minds with top quality medley of ingredients, depth of flavor, and masterful execution in every way. Cocktails were fun and delectable, which added the perfect "pop" to the culinary rocket ship that Madre served up. Just when my wife and I were ready to call it a night, Chef Bryan and Armando were kind enough to bring out the Pot de Creme for us, which was the bow and ribbon on this very special dinner. The kids’ menu was so good (the pasta was homemade and so delicious that I had to enjoy a few bites!), and my margarita flatbread was incredible. Good news: it was just as incredible. Everything we ordered tasted so authentic and comforting. It felt like a warm hug on a plate. Here’s what we shared: • Assorted Pkhali: A bright, flavorful way to start. • Imeruli Khachapuri: The highlight! That bread was pillowy, and the cheese inside was perfectly gooey and salty. “My husband and I dined here during our visit to NYC. We came from the Cincinnati area and it was our first visit to the city. When planning the trip, Colonie caught my eye so we decided to give it a try. I’m so glad we did, because it quickly turned into the absolute highlight of our trip and was an evening we won’t forget. The service is outstanding - each individual host made us feel like family. We were never short beverages, and our space at the chefs table was kept tidy at all times - no empty plates left behind. The sous chefs are impossibly talented at what they do and gave every single plate attention and care before it left their sight. And lastly, the Chef is a true artist and extremely kind, humble person. We were delighted when he walked over to pay a visit as it was our anniversary dinner. The food is layered with exquisite, complimentary flavors that are refined and articulate but also make these dishes relatable, familiar, and remarkable at the same time. “Classy place, very friendly staff, starting with the nice hostess. Got a booth in the back. Ordered black label and regular burgers, bone marrow, French onion soup. Had a great server who told us fries were cooked with refined peanut oil since a guest had a peanut allergy. Refilled waters and drinks and checked on us a few times.
