“Nice place, a little out-of-the-way, which is perfectly fine. Lots of menu choice, food is good quality, from bread and appetizers to dessert. This is a BYO place. Service was a little uneven, but that was most likely due to the fact that there was a really large party in the dining room and they tend to be high maintenance. Worth the trip.“

“We started going to this restaurant just last year and our server at that time Alexis really took great care of us. Ever since then we fell in love with the place. We always requested for Alexis but last night we had a different server named Eric and he was also very great and very attentive. The host stand, server, and the manager really made my boyfriend and I 9 year anniversary dinner special and we couldn't be any happier. The food was amazing and we always get the 22 oz prime bone in ribeye and the truffled Mac and cheese and it has been our go to meal and of course they have the most amazing oysters! They have a great variety of specialty drinks and wines that pairs very well with the food. This is a very highly recommended place and they have gained new regulars!“

“The trout is the best in the area. The servers can be unprofessional and rude. When asked to tie back their hair, the request was refused. A nonsense response of not required was insulting. As an experienced service trainer, the hair in question should have been restraining. Health department requirements override a servers vain attitude.“

If you have never had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant, I suggest you run - do not pass go - and get your butt there and eat the most delicous food on this planet. The food is consistently delicious, the portions are generous, and the staff always makes you feel welcome. Their chicken parm is hands down the best around — always perfectly cooked and full of flavor. It’s a true neighborhood gem with that warm, familiar atmosphere that’s getting harder to find these days. Whether it’s pizza, pasta, or a full family dinner, I’ve never had a bad experience. The seafood is fried to perfection - but it could use some salt. If they start making their own tartar sauce and hot sauce, this place is gonna be packed!

Still worth a visit, although I would just stick to the seafood until they start tightening up the sides with more experience cooking soul food staples.

Nick took great care of me during my visit and happily accommodated my special request.
