“Took my visiting sister there on a Tuesday evening. She was taken aback by the level of service that made us feel like VIPs! After getting a great window seat, my Sis jokingly said, "How romantic, too bad I'm here with my brother". Our gorgeous server Michelle was spectacular. She made multiple trips to the bar to find 'just the right wine' for my sister's particular taste and made two special requests to the kitchen on our behalf. Michelle's calming presence and 'in the moment' attitude made us feel very special. Being an intellectual herself, Michelle engaged with us most excellently in conversation. I've had a few nice meals before at the Chart House, but this by far was the best experience ever thanks to Michelle.“

“We were in the city for 3 nights. I made reservations for the second and third nights. Left night one open. I found Saar online, it was less than a block from our hotel so we figured we'd give them a try. So glad we did. Nice place. Great, friendly service (Karim is the man!), and excellent food. I ended up cancelling the reservations I made for night 3 and we went back to Saar. Give them a try if you like Indian food. It was amazing!“

And next time I should definitely go for the lobster roll.

“The trout is the best in the area. The servers can be unprofessional and rude. When asked to tie back their hair, the request was refused. A nonsense response of not required was insulting. As an experienced service trainer, the hair in question should have been restraining. Health department requirements override a servers vain attitude.“

“My husband and I had a delightful dinner at the Seamore’s Upper East Side. The staff were absolutely fantastic and very quick to address our needs. I picked this place for a dinner due to their squid ink pasta. It’s was delicious and tasty. Though we were just two seniors, there were 3-4 tables with little children. Once again, the staff were very friendly and accommodating to little toddlers. We would definitely come back with our grandchildren next time.“

I started with a caviar tasting along with a new take on a few of the standard accompaniments. I usually don’t like blinis but these felt like fluffy clouds of buttermilk biscuits.
