“The desserts and coffee at Pastry Lu are absolutely delicious and high quality. Over Thanksgiving, I enjoyed their apple pie which was magnificent and addictive. They always welcome you with a polite smile and when you look at all their desserts and pastries, you have to take your time because it’s hard to choose. You owe it to yourself to sit and eat your tasty delight there. They present your food and coffee in a beautiful wooden tray. It’s elegant and relaxing. I sat there today and felt as if I was in a European café. I had the strawberry cheesecake which was divine and the Mighty Mocha Hot Chocolate (a combo of coffee and hot chocolate). I added whip cream and fell in love with it. I’ll be going back. I had to refrain from getting two in a row. But this place is worth any extra holiday calories. I adore this bakery and am happy it’s in town. Also a great place to get a coffee or pastry on your way to the train since it’s right by NJ Transit. It’s perfect.“

“I’ve been a Cinnabon fan for a while now. I have to say over the last few years I’ve stopped because they haven’t tasted the same. Either the bun looked off or there wasn’t enough icing or something. This was my first time going to the Cinnabon in the Livingston mall and despite the mall feeling like a ghost town this Cinnabon location is a hidden gem. It’s shocking that I’m leaving a review about this to be honest but the Cinnabon I got and the ones I saw on display looked and tasted so much better than the ones I’ve had over the last few years. Whatever they are doing at this location keep it up.“

Staff is friendly and helpful. Entrance is handicap accessible and there is metered street parking.“

Ten times better than a Hostess cupcake. Better than Dunkin. $2.50 as of 09-2024. Really really good. Best sweet of the year here! Atmosphere is not fancy. One table with 2 chairs. Service is good, owner speaks English and Spanish. Spanish and American style sweets. The flan is very good also.“

“One of my real estate clients sent me a surprise box of Brownie Points brownies - and WOW - are they delicious!! First of all, I store them in the fridge. They stay well there for quite a while. My favorite flavors are the Maui heat, caramel sea salt, raspberry, and Cookie Monster. There are so many great flavors and all the brownies are delicious. I also like that they use good ingredients. I will definitely be sending Brownie Points gifts to clients and other people in the future!“

“The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. Service can be a tad iffy at times. They'll offer you cilantro sauce with the empanadas but not tell you it's $0.50. You ask for an egg with waffles, they give you two (and charge for two just to be clear). I wish that they were a little more clear about that kind of stuff.

The food really does make up for it though. Everything is super fresh, well made and seasoned. The empanadas give Division Street Cafe a run for their money. The waffles are proper waffles, not the Belgian ones everyone else has, and it's all just vibrant. The decor is really fun, and the people who work there are friendly. The price can be a bit nuts. Both times I've gone it's cost us $50 to feed two people, with one entree each, a drink for one of us, and a single empanada. That's a lot. The desserts are $10 each which is a bit nuts. I know everyone is charging a lot nowadays, but I don't have to be happy about it.“
