“A lovely dine-in bar-restaurant in UWS. I have been there during the happy hours (3:30 to 6 PM) and I would recommend the same. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, best for a group or an intimate date. I would highly recommend the Consulate's Old Fashioned which has Mescal. The French 85 is also good.“

“I've been to Nice Matin many times for lunch and dinner. The food has always been good. The service also has been good, except for the last two times I was there for lunch. Several of the servers need further training in customer service, e.g., asking if everything is okay, refilling water glasses, not disappearing for extended periods, etc. I will be back, but it's now not my go to place.“
“I absolutely love the energy/vibe in this place! Music and food was great! The drinks were absolutely delicious and the customer service was spectacular. All the employees were great! Shout out to Darren, Mauricio and Melissa and the kitchen staff they made my night and the experience so amazing that I can't wait to go back. If I lived closer, this would definitely be my after-work spot. I'm looking forward to going there again.“

“The food, atmosphere, and service was truly excellent. We enjoyed the whipped ricotta as our appetizer, the faso chicken and the faso big burger as our mains, and the chocolate fondant and cappuccinos for dessert. Every bite was delicious. We will be back soon!“

“We went for an engagement party and were blown away. Food was delicious. Every bite.Service went above and beyond. I mentioned once I was gluten free and the waiter brought me a special gluten free side and my own dessert. I couldn’t believe it!Probably the best meal I’ve had in a long long time. If they can pull off a large event so well I can only imagine how fab their regular dinner service is!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free pros!“

“Absolutely awesome hideen French Bistro is inside La Marqueta.Chef Edward and his team create mouthwatering dishes and great French pastries. One of the great dishes is their Bacalao Pie, which uses dried cod fish from Mama Grace & Nana down the hall. She's been here for over 30 years and sells a variety of dried fish. The pie is a dish the chef ate growing up in France. The fish is soaked overnight, boiled, shredded and mixed with butter, olive oil, garlic, scallions, and potatoes, baked and voila! This comforting dish is Brandade de Morue in French.Reminds me of a Shepherd's pie or like a gratin. It's warm, comforting and just a touch salty, chunks of fish and potato—really delicious!I also had the Croque Monsieur, a couple of great quiches and fresh croissants. I've been here 4 times already! They have great dishes for brunch on weekends.Don't skip on pastries like a great banana bread, lots of French cookies and treats.“

“We went for my aunts 95th bday. Saturday afternoon. Table for twelve outside. Lovely! Server was new, but did her best. The kitchen agreed to make moules frites for a few of us. (Wasn’t on the brunch menu, odd bc we have it for lunch during the week) we were a large group, but the kitchen couldn’t get out the Quiche special for over 10 minutes after all the other lunches came out. Other then that, the food was enjoyable as always! Creme brûlée was excellent“

“I visited NYC for the first time this week, and I must say that one of my top highlights was dining at Le Monde in Morningside Heights! This was not just the best dining experience of my whole trip but a top dining experience of all time! The food was impeccably prepared; the staff was gracious and attentive; the ambiance was sophisticated and cozy; the prices were very reasonable. Overall an exceptional meal! I want to return to New York just to dine here again. Superb!! Don't walk, run to Le Monde!“

“Me and my daughter, enjoyed this restaurant so much during our Mommy and Me weekend! The atmosphere was laid back and quite relaxing. The service was superb and the food was so good, we had to order food to bring home. I would give this establishment 6 stars if I could. We were both very pleased and we will be dining here again very soon. If you have not been here, you should definitely give them a visit. Peace and Love, Chele from the Block.“

“I realize this is arguably damming with faint praise, but clearly the best restaurant in Yonkers/Western Westchester county below the Cuomo bridge. High quality ingredients, well-prepared. Excellent service plus a nice view of the water -- at least before dark. Compares favorably to some of the better Manhattan restaurants. To be sure, is it as good as say, Le Bernardin or Jean Georges? Of course not. But you'll get a first-class dining experience for probably half the price, without the hassle of traffic and parking.“

“Went to see a friend in the city and we decided to dine here. The vibe is old French restaurant, been around forever. It's small inside but cozy. The food, let's discuss the food!! First I must say the fresh bread and butter served is excellent! I almost filled up on the bread alone!! So yum. We had a few apps: salad, the seared foie gras, and we decided to take the rabbit special as yet another appetizer. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted fantastic and fresh. For main courses the ladies had seared fish, and I had the lamb chops. Everyone was very pleased with their dishes. The server also brought some fresh vegetables including a carrot puree that was just amazing. For dessert we had the pastry puffs filled with fresh creme and the sorbets topped with fresh crème and berries. Oh my oh my. Delightful is the word that comes to mind! No wonder so many locals visit this fine establishment!! Go here. You won't be disappointed.“

“All French wine all the time. We sat at the bar for a delicious glass of the French white they pour for happy hour (4-6). Our bartender who was Latino joked he was the only thing not French at the bar! We had just been at Museum of Natural History planetarium and needed to come back to earth! Bartender was nice. Wine was super nice. All inside and outside tables were filled with French wine lovers enjoying a 5 PM glass. Food menu looks good so we will return. Feels a lot like Paris on W 84th! A votre sante! Salut!“

“This is the first time I've written a review. And I'm doing it only because the food, service and presentation were exceptional. 17 of us gathered for a family event. We had a dozen plus different dishes (some repeats/multiple orders). Every dish was exceptional. Literally every one. Bursting with rich flavors and great portions. Snails, scallops, salads, onion soup, chicken, pasta, filet of beef, potatoes, vegetables. Six different wonderful desserts, including soufflés. Terrific French cooking. Appetizers, salads, entrees, sides and desserts. Not an ordinary dish among them. One more thing. Unlike so many restaurants today where you can't hear yourself think much less talk to others, this restaurant has been designed to allow patrons to easily communicate with each other, even in a crowded dining room.“

“Perfect place for our anniversary dinner celebration! Everything from the appetizers to the dish of the day was absolutely delicious. The braised short rib pulled apart like butter (I didn’t need to use my knife). The interior is cozy, and makes the entire experience feel more intimate. And of course, the service was top notch. I’m excited to visit again to try their other dishes of the day!“

“Amelie in NYC is an absolute gem nestled in the bustling streets of the city. From the moment you step through the door, you're transported to a cozy corner of France where culinary delights await. The ambiance is charming, with its intimate setting, perfect for a romantic dinner or a delightful evening with friends. Each dish was full of flavor and prepared with finesse. But what truly sets Amelie apart is its impeccable service. The staff is attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine selection. Speaking of wine, their collection is extensive and curated with care, offering the perfect pairing for every dish.“

“We went on a Friday around 6, only a few customers in the place. Greeted by a friendly waiter who asked us to sit where we chose. Had the Yatenga salad for starters which the dressing was a bit bitter but the otherwise the salad was very fresh. Entrees were the chef special gambas and the mussels. Both plates were well presented, good portions, and very delicious. We ordered the apple tart for dessert which was ok.We will definitely be returning to try some of the other entrees.“

“Best baguette on the upper east side. It's thin crust and pillowy soft inside. I always wonder where one can get the baguettes that Vietnamese sandwiches are made from. This has to be where all these restaurants get their bread. They are made right on premise and all gone by lunch time. So go early and get yours.“

“Service is top notch here. I’m not a French pastry expert, but everything we tried during our stay at Hotel Bellclaire was excellent and very fresh. Nicely done espresso drinks made with care by a guy who knows his stuff — he looks like an octopus the way he multi-tasks around that machine. Very cheerful staff and smiling faces all around, mark of well run shop.“

“Came here for Easter and was pleasantly surprised! The only disappointment was that they forgot the caviar on the salmon tartar. Also I didn’t care for the escargot but I think that’s just a personal preference on taste. Overall I will be returning!“

“I'm a believer!!! I asked a Harlem-ite friend of mine where I should go for a Harlem vibed brunch place and, without hesitation, he mentioned Maison Harlem. Now I understand why he suggested it. The menu was really fantastic almost exotic actually. The food tasted great, and the service was good to HOWEVER, as much as I enjoyed the experience, i have to be honest: We did NOTE enjoy the fact that (for whatever reason) our highly anticipated Bronzino took an hour to come out to the table. Fortunately, the company I was with made the waiting time not quite as unbearable as it would've been otherwise. They brought out the food for two of us at the table and fortunately the person that ordered the Bronzino had also ordered a kale salad. So he didn't go completely without while waiting, but his anticipation really made the weight feel long. Our waitress, Ariel, did her best to placate us and ameliorate the situation. We were pleasant, but certainly annoyed by the situation, and she, while being put between a rock and a hard place, handled it all quite gracefully and professionally. All that being said, I will definitely go back, and in fact, we ALL will definitely go back because it was a great meal, and a great place th a wonderful vibe and a quirky yet very interesting decor. So yeah... Maison Harlem, make it a thing!“

“Awesome restaurant and super class manager with high skills on communication and costumer service. As a diplomat I like calm and clean space. This restaurant is so far the best you can find in NYC following these both criterias and beyond. I spend quality of time with my fiancee surprising her with these yummy foods from Crepes on Columbus. She liked it ? and want us to back again. Thank you COC for your amazing service.“

I was still hungry after my meal but it was delicious! I want to come back, and try more things on the menu. Everything looks really good, Drinks and dessert were also good! I had ordered dessert with seamless prior to my first visit, and they were quick!“

“I can’t believe I’ve lived in Harlem for this long and only just now visited this restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was fantastic (shoutout to Filip). I’m always hesitant ordering lamb dishes at restaurants because of how often they get them wrong, but I’m so glad I ended up ordering it. Perfectly fork tender, and the sauce it was served in was divine“

“Went for a surprise birthday party and it was a fixed menu. Good wine options and food was really delicious and service attentive. Most of it was family style and since others didn't eat the divine pate, I was not leaving that to be thrown out!!! I had the brook trout and enjoyed every bite.“
