“Popped in for some food after hitting the pool - everything was so fresh. I got the fritura and was blessed with a massive portion of fried, fresh, incredible meats, cheese, and plantains. The chicken was so moist and juicy, the chicharron was deeply flavorful and had me floored; truly so fresh, tasted like a mama made it for me. My partner got the pernil and it was also incredible. 10/10!!!“

“The food is pretty good. I ordered the tres golpes. I asked for the eggs to be scrambled and they charged me extra, I thought that was greedy of them. I have a raw egg allergy, so I can’t eat eggs unless they are fully cooked. The mangu didn’t taste that fresh. Overall it wasn’t bad but wasn’t great.“

“The food was great I went during food week. I had the salmon with garlic mash and broccoli. The meal also came with dessert and an appetizer. You can add a glass of wine for 5 dollars. For the appetizer I had the birria empanada my cousin had the island shrimp I believed it was called. The shrimp👍🏾👍, I wasn't crazy about the empanada. I would definitely revisit this place. Food: We got the Oxtail Rigatoni and Jerk Chicken with rice and beans. Incredibly delicious!! The food was incredibly fresh and tasty, even after 2 days in the fridge after we took leftovers, it tasted really good.

Drinks: Marvarita was really good, sugarcane spritz was warm and not very good, you can pass.

Atmosphere: We went at 5pm on a Sunday, there was live music, hilarious singer who complemented people sitting around.

Service: 11/10. Barbara(the owner) is lovely, she came and said hi, chatted with us and even took our order. Our server was Anthony, delightful man, felt like he was a cousin. we felt like we were so welcome and KNOWN in the restaurant.

Pricepoint: ridiculously reasonable esp being in Greenwich.

This will be our go to Jamaican spot from this point on.“

Chuletas Can Can: love it. This is a must get. Insane flavor and crunch and juiciness. I loved putting the meat in the goat curry sauce. That’s the trick chef Mike taught us!! I can’t describe how amazing this is.

Goat: Super flavorful, a bit of spice, great great flavor. We got extra curry sauce which was amazing

Plantain with eggs & caviar: my husband was obsessed with this. It was okay to me but he loved it!!

Pepper sauce: asked for some of this on the side. Yes!!!! Amazing scotch bonnet flavor

Bar Kabawa bites

Solomon Gundy: Wow. Wow. Get it.

Pickled Okra: I love okra and this was next level

Daiquiri: well balanced drink over shaved ice. Fave drink of the night

This was a great culinary tour of the Caribbean

The staff was amazing by the way. We sat by chef Mike who was so personable and clearly passionate about what he does. Super fun and high energy. He was truly impressed by the amount of food we ordered and our ability to finish it.

As we were leaving the young lady approached me saying they gave her pumpkin that she didn’t order or want and asked for the dollar back. I was very surprised about that.
