“Mighty Bread has attained elite status. It is the best bakery-cafe you’ll find in Philly, no question, and one of my favorite spots. This gem slings stellar pastries, sandwiches, and kale salad (add turkey and soft boiled eggs). The focaccia is probably #1 in Philly, and served alongside dreamy whipped ricotta.

Favorite sandwiches lately: breakfast sandwich with bacon and/or mushroom, turkey caesar hoagie, Italian hoagie, tozzino, and prosciutto, pesto, & mozz.

They slay on a Monday, but be sure to go on a weekend for the Scrambo Platter and whatever exceptional specials they’ve got going on. The staff are kind, patient, and helpful. Lines get loooong but move at a reasonable pace. Whatever you get, you can’t go wrong!“

“My husband is dairy free so I’m always looking for good dairy free/vegan bakeries. We ordered a personal size gender reveal cake from Batter and Crumb and the entire experience was great! While I was waiting to get the results from the doctor I changed the order date and couple of times and they were very accommodating. The cake was not only beautiful but SO delicious! Definitely the best vegan cake I’ve ever had! I also picked up some bakery items while in the store and they were very tasty as well! We will definitely be using them for our future cake needs!“

Consider bringing your pretzels ? to Northeast Philadelphia, pretzels ? seem to be no existent. Only a few Philly Pretzel shops around in Northeast Philadelphia and they aren’t very good. Why only have one gold mines when you could have 2 !!!“

“Cash or Venmo- no credit or debit cards accepted. Citron tea was very good but Taro Bun was a little too sugary for my taste, super fresh though. Lady at counter was very friendly and patient while I downloaded the Venmo app as I didn't have cash on me.“

“I’m obsessed! Found this bakery on too good to go & took a ride over (from jersey) I came home with 4 different flavors of the banana pudding & my 16 year old and I tried each one. I can’t even pick a favorite because they are all so good. The Magic flavor name makes complete sense when you take a bite because different flavors seem to magically appear in your mouth (peanut butter being the last to hit…) hard to explain but if you taste it, it will make sense! I got 2 large puddings in my order than bought 2 different small ones in different flavors & i regret not getting the 2 extra cups in large! Driving in Philly stresses me out but I’ve never wanted to drive back over there so bad! For more pudding! I will be recommending this bake shop to everyone! “Philly’s best bagels. Period. I was raised in a Jewish neighborhood in Brooklyn, our apartment was literally above a bagel shop, so I have spent my life carrying a mantel of bagel snobbery. Bonnie (proprietor) is the sweet and friendly baker who pours her soul into this takeout-only gem in the heart of East Passyunk, and while it’s a wonderful bakery all around (her apple cake is awesome) it’s the bagels, bagels, bagels where Bonnie’s love is so apparent.“

“My fiancé and I stopped in here to grab something sweet after a lunch date and BOY we were NOT disappointed with what we bought!! The environment is so friendly and inviting, the staff is sweet as can be and the dessert are DELICIOUS!! It was our first time here so they offered us one of three cookies to try and phew they sold us on the spot, we tried the cannoli and ricotta cookies and they were mouthwateringly good, they were light, fluffy and subtle yet still packed with flavor, they were so good we grabbed a half a pound!! We also snagged a massive fudgie brownie and betty funfetti cookie both absolutely phenomenal and all for under $20!!! 100/10 would recommend this place to anyone and everyone, they even have a few liquor infused treats for those old enough to enjoy…OH and they offer ice cream on Thursday nights!! “My daughter turned 4 this year and needed a cake to celebrate her birthday in Philadelphia. I’m a bakery owner in New York so naturally I’m a high cretic for cakes and only wanted the best. I reached out to Ashley and she was so nice , thorough and listed to all I needed for my daughter’s birthday. We ended up buying a three tier cake with all the big and small details my daughter wanted and was so shocked to see the end result, my mouth dropped. Not only did she do what I asked for but she even went above and BEYOND with the design. It was so BEAUTIFUL!!!! When I picked up the cake it was ready to go . My daughter was so shocked and amazed. It was neat, I got what I wanted plus more and well packaged. Now the TASTE! OMG we ordered cookie butter and IT WAS SOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOD. Moist with just the right amount of sweetness. All my guest were asking for more and I even had it for breakfast. I’m 100000 % satisfied with my order . Thank you soooo much . Also the peach cobbler soooooo good. This opening makes me grizzly excited!I didn’t look at the details carefully, but buying two scones, two muffins, a biscuit sandwich and two bagels totaled $23, which I thought was a good deal! There are also many types of pastries and bagels. Many of the items are vegan. I really like them. The pastries are delicious. Everything and the salt+rosemary bagels taste a little salty to me.“

Parking: $.25 for 20 minutes should be enough for you to get your treat and get back to your car. There is a parking lot across from the plaza that you can park your car there too.“

“Delicious cappuccino, pleasant-warm welcome from the owner, and lots of options. I just wish she was more truthful when I asked about the freshness of some items. I could see the cannolis were just filled and fresh, but she said everything was fresh and my sfogliatelle was at least a few days old and was hard and not great. The cannoli cream was really tasty though. Overall happy!“

“The Tahini Oat Bar is a favorite. At $5 for two bars in a packet it is expensive but so delicious. I ration it out to last two weeks. I have enjoyed the Milk Bread and recently bought a bread which was whole wheat with cornmeal in it. This is tasty spread with butter. Lost Bread Co is at the Union Square Farmers Market and I try to get there early to buy my favorites. All the breads are made with whole grains.“

“I had the opportunity to experience this French bakery for breakfast with some family. The atmosphere here was nice in the sense that it was easy to have a conversation and it wasn’t really loud. There is a few tables in side to sit at. We got the bigger table at the back that is good for a larger group as there was 7 of us. I had the Natilla banana crape that was very good and I would have it again. I would come back here again in the future if I am back in Philadelphia.“

“Soooo...I had the pleasure of meeting Darnel at the Lansdale market this weekend, June 8th. I got got Carrot cake, plain cheese, berry cheese cake and lemon bars. I ate the lemon bar and carrot and all I can say is ..WOW!!. The carrot cake was the old school carrot cake the church ladies made..Delicious!! Lemon bar was tart and sweet..again, Delicious! “Such a treat! My son and I (both with celiac) visited today and were so excited to be in a place where everything there was safe to eat! Not only safe to eat but delicious as well. “Stopped by the Swedesboro location for the first time today. I showed up 10 minutes after they opened and there were only a few cupcakes left. Basically sold out within 15 minutes of opening. That’s how you know they’re good! I got a Lucky Charm cupcake and a chocolate cupcake. But those weren’t all I went for… I got an assortment of 12 macarons. So far I have only tried 1- the blood orange. It was fantastic! The staff member working was very kind & helpful. I cannot wait to go back. If you are to go make sure you go early. Get there before they open or within a half hour of them opening. Their products go fast! It was well worth the trip. I look forward to visiting again soon!“

“First and foremost, Zoe is a gem of a human! Just the nicest person who happens to make very tasty baked goods.

We tried a few at-home tastings from bakeries in the area, and Whipped was the winner. During the planning process, Zoe provided a couple of design options for us to pick from, which I really appreciated.

My husband's 40th birthday was just a couple of weeks after our wedding so I knew I wanted to take advantage of having all of our people in one place and surprise him with a cake. I wanted to a "Sean's Favorite Things" cake: Philly sports, PS5, shrimp ? and Zoe and her team came up with the most delightful cake with the cutest/coolest designs and made sure we had a birthday sparkler.

The birthday cake was the cookies & cream (SO GOOD! and we didn't eat it until the day after the wedding) and for our wedding cake we did the lemon & thyme and strawberry. I admittedly did not get to have any of our wedding cake that night, but everyone said it was tasty.
