“Parking is horrible in this area so be prepared to spend some time looking for parking. It took us 30-45 mins to get parking.
Even the parking lot across the street was full.
Parking enforcement is constantly patrolling the area and in the parking lot.
Although the music was very loud, I loved the music they were playing. Old school salsa, cumbia and merengue.
There was a live DJ playing in the back.
In the front by the entrance where we were was the bar.
We were on a hightop table which personally, I do not like since I’m short.
The waitress did not stop to check on us and had to flag her so we could pay the bill and leave.“

“Please disregard old reviews, the team has changed completely since a year or so and you have (for now) a 3 star restaurant disguised as a 2 star one. “I really love parlour room. The bar is so cool. When you walk in it has a cool vibe like old New York. I like the bottle display and they have a shaker machine that super shakes the cocktails. So fun: the bartender said it’s the only one in nyc. I love the cocktails and i definitely come here when we see a show or after dinner drinks, but the food here is good too! Then we pop over to bo peep the speak easy next door“

“Truly amazing experience! We come to New York around Christmas for weekend every year and every year we try a new place. This by far is the best experience we’ve had. “We went on my birthday for the first time, despite living in this building for ages, and we had such a great time!

The overall service was excellent right from the minute we arrived at the front desk near the lobby. They took us all the way up on a separate elevator to the restaurant where we were greeted at the bar, and the bartender started us off with some excellent cocktails. We were then seated at our table and our captain, AJ did an excellent job guiding us through the menu.

We also had very specific medical food restrictions (which weren’t the easiest to accommodate since the menu was mostly seafood-based), but the restaurant was so good about making these accommodations for us. The attention to detail here, from the chef to all the staff who were very mindful of these restrictions, was truly remarkable.

We decided to do the full tasting menu and it was truly an experience as we dined across from a divine view of the sunset on the river.

I loved every minute of this, and will be coming back here often as well as recommending it to others!“

“Excellent dining experience. It was nice to see diners appropriately dressed….no baseball caps, sneakers or sweats. Blazers are not required but I would recommend a dress for ladies and a collared shirt with nice pants for the men.
Tuna was good but the sardine toast was better.
Sweet crab and duck tortellini were great.
The osso buco was a little salty but the meat was tender and perfectly cooked.
The black bass was excellent.
Opt for the sticky toffee pudding. One dessert is more than enough for two people.

“We had a nice experience here. My steak was very good, I really did enjoy it. My husband things his dish dish was also pleasant. At first our waiter was a bit stiff and stand offish but he opened up and was professional. The location is beautiful and so is the space. I wouldn’t make a special trip to go back here specifically but if I’m in the mall again, I wouldn’t be opposed to it. It’s quality service and food, expensive but it’s NYC.“

“Though we enjoyed our meal at HAGS, our experience wasn’t quite as sensational as some of the other reviewers.

We found the food a bit underwhelming, especially at this price point. Don’t get me wrong, it was good throughout and sometimes great. The beef entree and the pumpernickel brand, for example, were fantastically done.

But many of the remaining dishes were quite vegetable-forward and some of the flavors didn’t seem to make sense together. There’s nothing wrong with a lot of vegetable dishes, but taken together it felt like the meal was a little bare and missing some substance / finesse.

The service was awesome and the decor of the place is lovely and memorable. Unfortunately, those were the parts of the meal that left the most lasting impression (vs the meal itself). Also love that they include tip with the menu prices - more restaurants ought to do that.

Maybe we aren’t the target demographic, but I think there are better spots in NYC to drop $200 pp.“

“Our evening at Eleven Madison Park was easily the best dining experience I've ever had, and probably the best I ever will. I knew when I booked the reservation that we were going to have a great meal. What I wasn't expecting was how incredible and thoughtful the staff would be. The service was so good it literally brought me to tears.

We were visiting New York and in our hubris we thought it'd be a great idea to take an 8 year old who hates vegetables to a fully plant based fine dining restaurant. They went out of their way to ensure our kid had some unique food that they would like, even going so far as to whip up a custom dish.

At the end of the night we were given a tour of the kitchen and there was a chef's hat for our kid. AND THEY MADE A TINY ONE FOR THEIR TOY TARANTULA!

It's unlikely I'll be back to New York, so I likely will never have another chance to dine here. But I'll definitely remember my visit for a long time“

“With two kids under the age of 5, my husband and I don't get out very much. So we decided to gift ourselves a nice night out and decided to check out the 8 course tasting menu at Fulgurances. Rasika Venkatesa' food was so delicious and she was such a friendly chef, coming around and speaking with us. We loved it so much that we treated our moms for mother's day/70th birthday. They were lucky enough to have Oliver M George's tasting menu on the first day of his residency. They were blown away too. The hidden stars of this place, of course, are the cooks and staff who learn all these new and different cuisines every few months and provide outstanding service. Our hats off to them. We can't recommend this place enough. What better place to go to when you have precious little time, but the place that constantly changes!“

The setting is intimate and the vibe is local fancy nonna despite the massive glass windows overlooking a busy intersection opposite the SoHo Grande. “I am not usually the one to write reviews on Google, but this place is fire. As someone already mentioned, it's basically a Dig, but better (at least for warm bowls). The space is nicer, the staff friendlier, and the food portions are as flavorful as Dig, yet more generous.One of the biggest pet peeves of mine while eating out in one of those healthy and casual spots is that I often feel like they serve you less protein than they advertise (which is usually supposed to be 4oz). That's especially annoying after a good workout. But to my surprise, the server today actually weighed my chicken to make sure the portion was accurate, so that made me happy (and yes, I count my macros). Anyway I hope they keep doing that.Overall, a great experience — I definitely plan on coming back.“

FALAFEL PLATTER: omg the hummus that comes with it are so good! Silky and perfect with the falafel and pita that comes with it. It is good for sharing or even by yourself! BURATTA: the cheese is soft and delicious. It comes with bacon or ham? I'm not sure but it tastes good with the burrata. CALAMARI: we were sad when it came cause we thought it was fried but man it was so good, it was grilled and it taste like a ceviche. EGGPLANT SCHNITZEL: the fried eggplant is so good and not over fried so the softness of the eggplant was retained. FROZEN PASSION FRUIT DAQUIRI: omg it was so good and refreshing, but hits you at the end! LOL Price rating: 8/10, it was not that bad for the price. The food was great. “Came for a dinner with a medium sized group. The vibes of the place are so cozy and old-timey and it definitely is a unique spot! Service was good, and the owner was very nice. The food was good. Nothing blew us away. The sausage and broccoli Rabe was okay, the chicken crdonbleu was pretty good, and the lamb was a highlight, and the gnocchi was made well. Overall, a good spot, and the food was above average.“
