“Wonder in Cresskill is one of my favorite places to eat. The spinach artichoke dip is really good, and I also love the burgers and rice bowls. The food always tastes fresh and the service is friendly. I definitely recommend trying it if you are nearby.“

“I had a great night at the oak house. From the second I sat at the bar, Baze set a great impression. Professional, experienced and completely dialed in. He was attentive without being intrusive as it was my first time there and I was on a date. He knew exactly how to read the room. That kind of service makes a difference. I ordered the Pears and Lychee cocktail and it was excellent and made with precision. On Baze’s recommendation, I went with the peach glazed wings and the short rib. Both delivered. The wings had real flavor with a good caramelized finish, and the short rib was very good and cooked perfect. What stood out most was the consistency in service. Baze stayed on top of everything and made sure the night ran smoothly. It’s rare to find a spot that gets both the food and the hospitality right. He definitely helped make it a strong date night. I’ll definitely be back.“

“We have eaten here several times over the years and ordered out. The food has always been consistently good.
Some of my favorites are the Caprese Salad Frito Misto Tartufo pizza. Yesterday,we went for cocktails and shared a Frito Misto.As usual , they were excellent. It was early but the place was pretty full. The bartender was very professional and efficient. Overall very good experience.“

“Every time we go to Lavagna, the owner and his staff are always gracious and accommodating. This past weekend, my family and I were looking for a place to go after my Mom's wake. It was after 8:00 pm and we thought we would try Lavagna, knowing that they may not be able to accommodate the 12 of us as is was late and Friday's are usually very busy. We asked and they went out of their way to seat us as close as possible and served us with a smile even with two picky kids in tow. The food was delicious, as always. Thank you Lavagna staff for a relaxing, delicious comforting meal!“

Was fantastic. Was batted down thin and breaded and seasoned to perfection. VERY tender, I only had to use my folk to cut. The marinara was fresh semi chunky lite delicious and perfect. The fresh bread came in handy to clean up my plate. My wife has a fresh pasta marinara dish and NO complaints there. “This is for the bar, came on a mid-day on a holiday and the bar/restaurant had visible traffic but was comfortable enough to have a conversation with snacks and a drink. The prices are a bit higher for what it is (happy hour prices makes it manageable), the sausage plate isn’t that great (chorizo better than the bratwurst which felt flat and lacked flavor), but there is a variety of beers on tap.“

“NYC steakhouse experience without the drive. Ambiance is top notch. High end decor but my kids felt very comfortable here. Food was very good. Steaks cooked and seasoned perfectly. French onion soup was full bodied. Mashed was smooth. Corn was different in a good way, have to try to understand. Only criticism i can make is the rest of the meal was so good that the dessert wasn't on the same level. It was still fine. Overall excellent experience, will definitely go back.“

“Entire experience was outstanding. Drinks were brought promptly. Caesar salad was probably the best I've ever had. Filet was cooked to perfection. My server, George, went above and beyond. I asked for lemon WEDGES (you can't squeeze slices) for my water, and that's exactly what he brought. Then when the kitchen missed something I'd requested, he immediately made it right with an alternative solution, which was probably better than what I initially requested. He was attentive without hovering. I will request a table in his area next time I'm there. Also, I loved that the table was sturdy enough where I didn't feel like my drink would spill when I cut my filet. A small thing maybe, but a detail many places overlook and get wrong. And I LOVE that Ruth's Chris has an expected standard of dress & decorum for their customers. That tells you they also have standards for their servers, cooks & food. Absolutely top-shelf across the board.“
