“The chef is from Beijing, and all of the flavors reflect that. It's so nostalgic for me. It was like eating my grandparents' cooking. The dumplings even had juicai.
It's a rare surprise for me to have food like this.“

“There is nothing we don’t love about this restaurant. The food is “real” New Mexican with some excellent special touches by the chef. The ambiance is wonderful, and the decor is authentic. Even the music is well selected and at a volume that enables pleasant conversation during the meal. The staff is helpful, responsive and friendly. A special shout out to Daniel, who is appropriately attentive and professional, always with a smile. Already looking forward to our next visit!“

“If you are in Santa Fe you absolutely have to visit Tres Colores! We were up there with family and friends for my dad's internment in the national cemetery. There were 13 of us that showed up for lunch without calling ahead. The space is small but they didn't even bat an eye. They quickly slid tables and chairs together and seated us. Service was excellent and the food was some of the best I've ever had. The presentation was beautiful and flavor was phenomenal. I don't think I will ever be satisfied with nachos from anywhere else. It was so well balanced. I am grateful for the hospitality they provided and will always remember this experience.“

“I’m not a big fan of pasta but my husband is, we found this place while walking around downtown and exploring a bit, and we decided to tried. OMG this blow up my mind, mac&cheese here is DELICIOUS, if I wanna eat pasta I’m definitely coming back here, I don’t mind driving 4-5 hrs. Me and my husband ordered a size medium container of mac&cheese and it was super cheap and they give you A LOT. We were super full. Congrats to the owner.“

“The food at La Choza is excellent. There are a ton of vegetarian options, and the green chiles and margaritas are delicious. We went to this restaurant 2 out of 3 days we were in Santa Fe, and if we were staying longer, we would go again. The server our second night was Luis. We had never met such an outstanding server. Luis made sure we had all the information to order something we would enjoy. He noticed that some crema was left off of my chile relleño before I even noticed, and he immediately sent some to the table. He was friendly, and when we mentioned what an excellent job he did, he said it was because he loves people. I hope you get to meet him while you are eating there!“

“The latest iteration of this space has become a delightful local to take in French inspired breakfast. I was delighted by the quick accessibility and the spot on crepes. Pastries looked keen and eggs were fluffy. Nice to have a spot that doesn't err on heavy dishes with the lattes and NM sunlight flowing true.“
“I order tea from Artful Tea. I have not been disappointed! The tea is delicious. It ships out promptly and arrives perfectly. I have not been to the store and I live on the other side of the country, but I can imagine their store is great too!“

“I would give more than five stars if I could! This wonderful restaurant was recommended to us, and it did not disappoint. I had a fine glass of wine and a Caesar salad that was beyond belief. It was a work of art — filled with flavor, a touch more lemony than most, but it was perfection. I had the pork cheeks. First time ever for me, but my family has been suggesting it for a long time. So tender and so flavorful. My dessert was an espresso martini! The server was Edward, and the man responsible for the amazing drink was AJ. Edward was an extraordinary server. He made the whole experience memorable. This restaurant has the best reputation in all of Santa Fe. It could’ve been pretentious, but it was not. It was welcoming and fun. A definite highlight of our time and Santa Fe.“

“We went for lunch today. Atmosphere is great, friendly staff and fun decorations.
Note, they should fix the toilet seat.
We ordered the salami and prosciutto baguette sandwich’s with soup and salad. The soup and salad were great and really enjoyed them. The sandwiches were bland and fine, way too much butter.
The pastries were all good and sweat.“

“Service was on slower side of things throughout the meal, but all servers were pretty nice. All of my tapas were pretty delish, and I really liked their Spanish mushroom soup, papatas bravas and and mussels with coconut milk salsa verde: everything was spot on. Their Spanish negroni cocktail was lovely, too. The gateau basque dessert kinda ruined my meal: it seems to have been sitting in the fridge for the day but it was certainly not made fresh and I could hardly taste vanilla bean in it. A lady manager came by and was rather kind to comp it after I declined to try another dessert instead.“

“Since they first opened a few years ago, this has been my go to lunch spot in downtown Santa Fe. I have not had a bad item yet. Some of my favorites include the Chinese chicken salad, the Buddha bowl, the blackened salmon bowl, the breakfast sandwich, the avocado toast with a fried egg added, their tuna melt sandwich, their excellent coffee, and their amazing and filling smoothies. Many days they even have delivery for the downtown area, which is such a lifesaver when I can’t get away from my desk. They are also great people and their staff seems so happy and well cared for. I don’t know what I would do without Henry and the Fish!“

“Gruet Winery consistently receives rave reviews for its exceptional sparkling wines, particularly its Brut and Rosé. Known for using traditional French methods (Méthode Champenoise), Gruet offers high-quality sparkling wines at a fraction of the cost of Champagne. The crisp acidity, fine bubbles, and vibrant flavors of green apple, citrus, and brioche make their Brut a standout, while the Rosé charms with notes of strawberry and cherry.
Hailing from New Mexico, Gruet has earned a reputation as one of the top American producers of sparkling wine, often outshining competitors in blind tastings. It’s a go-to choice for celebrations or casual sipping. Have you tried it? Paul had a great knowledge of all Gruet, watched him serve a full room and rocked it.“

“Can’t say enough about this local cafe. We are from Colorado and this cafe just so happened to be right next door to our Airbnb. They have a regular menu and a board with specials-so many fantastic options. The food was delicious and came out quickly, the ingredients were fresh, and the service was outstanding. In the 30 minutes we were outside eating we were checked on 4 times and the servers were constantly offering to refill our coffee. Such a great local place, we would for sure come back!“

“There has been a change to the breakfast menu, and it's so much better for that. My favorite change is to the Green Hummus Toast. It was a delight when it was made as an avocado based toast, but now is available with a delicious hummus spread. Featuring local sourdough bread that's lightly toasted topped with organic eggs that can be ordered in any style, (how they make the scrambled version so light and fluffy is beyond me) along with fresh red onion that is a complement and never intrusive. The feta cheese sprinkled on top just adds the finishing touch. My other suggestion? While this is a breakfast specialty, you might want a savory element, adding a side order of sautéed mushrooms. Yikes, that's really good!“

“As an obvious tourist, they made my order with kindness and accuracy. Cheaper than franchise places. Also interesting scripture on their menu boards.
Vegetarian options: Made to order: well done, medium, fixings, anything! These guys know what they’re about.
Dietary restrictions: Cilantro does not seem to be optional, but they don’t put it IN in the burger.
Parking: Gravel parking lots of erosion but just drive carefully and you’ll be gap you went there.
Kid-friendliness: Big benches so not great for kids. but nobody minded my kids wandering around.
Wheelchair accessibility: Tricky. But possible if you have an off road chair.“

“Impecable! The place is tiny and seating is highly sought after. They've just started serving dinner, at least on Fridays, and it feels like The Place To Be!!
Exquisite beef tartare dish and great sake. I'm sure I'll be back to try the rest of their selections!“

“I had four tacos and a beef fajita. I have never had that many tacos in one meal ever at anywhere else just because they are too delicious. They have a large variety for meat such as shrimp, beef, beef tongue, and beef tripe etc. Beef tongue taco is a must have, which is really flavorful and tender. Their salsa and roasted jalapeno is spicy enough that is fully satisfying. Their food is not too salty but also let you add the amount of salt you want so it fits your taste the most. I would have come back every other day if I lived in Santa Fe.“

“Bang Bite Filling Station cooks one of the best burgers in Santa Fe. A great perk is that this food truck is located at The Break Room Santa Fe Brewery so when I'm craving a burger and beer this place is my go to! “My husband and I stayed here last night for Rosé the Riveted's, our Airstream Basecamp, first-ever adventure (follow her travels @KittyDeschanel). We'd never been to Tumbleroot Brewery and weren't sure what to expect. Well, we had the absolute BEST time! There are so many drinks to choose from, and the prices are reasonable. Tons of food options too—we loved our wood-fired pizza. Their live music had us dancing and singing along (to be fair, this part was from their groovy live music and possibly the drinks), and there's an overall chill-but-fun vibe. There's even a koi pond! We enjoyed it so much that we're thinking we'll need to make the drive from ABQ weekly. Don't miss this one!“

“Lois Ellen Frank hosted our team building event in Santa Fe last night and it was truly special. She shared a few hours of her time with our pretty inquisitive group of about 40, teaching us about Native American and local cuisine, sustainability, history… it overlapped perfectly with our business team’s topics and oh by the way, the lamb chili rellenos, gnocchi, and dry bread were amazing, too! Highly recommend Lois and her company, Red Mesa Cuisine. Thanks for the recipes and hospitality!“
