“I grew up in NYC and with that being said for the XLNYC the dough was good, but very thin. If you doubled it, it would still be thin and yet the right thickness. The Italian seasonings on top was way too much for a family pie, too much for even me. The average kid might not be able to eat it. Great and rapid service. Would I come back? Yes.

“One of my favorite spots in town! I haven’t disliked a dish yet! A favorite for me is the Banh mi. Every one of the Banh mi options is delicious. The baguette is so crunchy! They also have lobster offerings such as lobster pho along with traditional offerings as well. I go about once a week/every other week. Can’t recommend it enough.“

“Great poke. Really impressed with the quality of the food. Although, I have one suggestion. When plating bowls, if you’re going to place the rice on the entire bottom of the bowl the proteins should be in the middle, then add the sauce to the whole bowl, and all of the sides around proteins.

Oh and thank you for actually putting extra for the sides when asked unlike some other spots out there!“

“One of our favorite sushi restaurants in Reno, well anywhere really. Their fish is always fresh and they have delicious, creative rolls. I really enjoy their Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck Nigiri, I always have to order a couple of each. They have good quality, fresh Hamachi. Their all you can eat price is very reasonable with drinks included most nights, depending on what you drink. Desert comes with all you can eat, I really like the fried banana sundae but the green tea ice cream is also good and refreshing.“

We had the dinner size chicken fried steak, fish and chips, cheese pizza and their soup of the day (meatball soup-my daughter gave the soup 2 thumbs up). The fish was great-thin batter and tons of fish. Fries are crispy on the outside and soft in the middle.The pizza had lots of cheese. The soup had lots of meatballs. My husband really enjoyed the chicken fried steak. Just a heads up the Cafe is short staffed, but the staff worked their butts off to provide a great dinner experience. We will definitely be back.“
