“Okay, so if you have 6 kids and they love sushi. Then come to Harumi. We got two sushi boat b’s and that filled the boys up. The girls got chicken ramen and loved it. They also tried the sushi and liked it. As the old guys in the photo we loved the service and quality. Not the cheapest but a great value. Highly recommended.

“We had a small wedding reception here on August 19. We started in the garden until rain moved in and MacDuffs quickly moved us inside and upstairs. The food and service were excellent. Our waitress was awesome and working with MacDuffs beforehand was great too. We were a party of 18 from Michigan and everyone was very complimentary! Highly recommend!!’“

The waitress was literally superwoman on Christmas eve, all by herself, handling different positions, she was doing the best she could and still kept her cool. Literally, there was only two other workers at the restaurant that day (the chefs), the waitress had said to me. Its obviously christmas eve. “The place is very nice, small, but with a great vibe. We ordered the duck as a starter and it was lovely. For the mains, we had the coffee ribeye and the lamb. To be honest, they were just okay. I'm a big fan of lamb, and this one didn't feel cooked at its best (fat was chewy). The coffee ribeye was fine, but I was expecting something more unique in terms of flavor.“

“Will start off by saying the food was great! However the hostess was another story. Recwntly had dinner on 8/11/24. The hostess would not let us sit at the table to start ordering drinks because we were missing 2 out of the 8 people in our group. needless to say we already had 6 ready to be seated. once we were seated the table next to us had the umbrella slanted. this caused the table to fly over from a gust of wind shattering a plate and cutting my leg. the stay was kind enough to provided a wipe and some bandaid. We continued our night until the hostess decided to empty water cups from other guest into the flower bed behind us. Which then caused the dirt to splash up on one of our guest white shirts and be covered in mud. A smug sorry was replied out. As stated before the food was terrific and the wait staff was great but the hostess needs to be replaced.“

“We had them cater a welcome party for an estimated 80 people. Everyone on the phone was super helpful and very polite and nice. When my brother picked up the food the staff were very helpful and made sure we had everything covered tightly and secure and even gave us cardboard to protect the seats.

The food was delicious and everybody loved it! I will absolutely go back when I return to Tahoe.“

Appetizers were out in under five minutes and the main course within an additional five minutes. Food was hot and fresh. General Tsao was the favorite at the table. The half for $14 is the size of a regular (big) sandwich at most places. Home made iced tea and Arnold palmers. Always a parking spot right in front too. Go check it out! Very friendly staff too and a cool atmosphere with an Arcade game machine.“

“We stopped at Super Tacos for a quick bite before heading to the Gondola. We each got 2 carne asada tacos and they were really good. I liked that they use 2 tortillas and cook the outer one a little more so the taco doesn’t fall apart—smart move.

I added guac to mine which was tasty, but the real winner was the green chili salsa… wow, so good and full of flavor. Service was fine, nothing amazing, but it’s an outdoor-only spot so it’s all about the food anyway.

I’d definitely come back and try a burrito next time.“

“So happy to have found this pizza parlor! We used to always go to a different one here in South Shore but it hasn't been as good as in past years so we thought we'd try a new pizza parlor. If you like a thick crust, lots of condiments and cheese, then this is your place! We always try a plain cheese pizza at every new restaurant. If cheese is good, then you know anything else will also be and the cheese pizza did not disappoint! We also had a custom order pizza with condiments to our liking and it was also phenomenal. I highly recommend this establishment.“

I believe they have two locations since the facade in the photo here is not this location, but this one is a sweet casual sit down or order to go spot that shared a building with a market as well. Got the Carne Asada and Pollo Asada Super Burritos and all three of the fresh salsas from the nacho bar and they were so delicious. Generous portions I think each burrito was like 2 lbs 😂. Would love to try other menu items. Service was so lovely as well!“
