“Authenticity off the charts!!!! Lunch here is unbeatable. First, a tea pot of green tea as soon as you sit down and cloth napkins and a packed spot. Got kung pao chicken and it was balanced and the perfect portion. A little too many water chesnuts. Fried rice was awesome. Pho was great but too much. And also didn't like that that beef came inside not letting me cook it myself. Sesame chicken good. Prices awesome. Will try again. Nice server.“
“Very good my first visit when I ordered the vegetarian Pho. Upon the second visit I got the beef pho and there was a hair in my pho and I ordered the friend banana dessert and my ice cream was freezer burned. They immediately took it off my bill without any problems so I would recommend!“
“I went to phams kitchen for the very first time today 4/18 with my sister's, mother, and niece. Phams has a very welcoming atmosphere. It's clean. I didn't know how to order and the wonderful woman at the register was more than patient and happy to help. I just ordered what my sister gets because pho is new to me. We all had a beef lemon grass bahn mi (top tier!) chefs kiss! Legitimately one of my favorite sandwiches ever! I've had those before. Those were about $8. We had beef brisket pho (just beef, noodles, bean sprouts, green onions, mint, cilantro, broth, jalapeños) absolutely delicious. To make it spicy add some Sriracha. Again chefs kiss! That was $16.50. my sister ordered some chicken spring rolls as an appetizer for us. They were delicious. I am not sure the pricing on those. The tears are $6.50. we got passion fruit and she got peach. They are good but unless you just want a sweet drink I'll pass on that next time just to keep my six dollars. I normally just drink water all the time. Lol they were good but I feel like a couple sips and then it's gone. Lol you leave full and satisfied. With enough to have some sandwich and soup for later. I was able to take my broth home and they gave us containers for our sandwiches and veggies.I will be coming here often. Lol great service. Great food. They do have high chairs for children. Lots of parking. Clean rest rooms. Clean restaurant. 10 out of 10 easy!“
“I’ve been waiting so long for this place to come back. I’m late to the game because I just found out! The chicken udon is just as heavenly as I remember from back in the day. There is a parking lot right next to the building too, which makes everything even better. I had takeout last week, and will be dining in tomorrow night. Can’t wait.“
“Went last night for girls night and had a blast! We were greeted and seated immediately upon arrival by a very lovely hostess. She took extra time to go over the most popular dishes and gauged what we would most likely enjoy. The Thai tea is light and refreshing and I recommend you try it. I had the rare beef Pho and omg, I have enough leftovers for at least two more meals. The food was fantastic and the service was perfect. The atmosphere is well...comfortable and quirky. We were given time after our meal to catch up and laugh. By the time we left we knew we'd be back for more!!!“
“I'm blown away by the amazing experience my friends and I shared here. So. Much. Fun. The food...there aren't words to do it justice. I had to force myself to stop eating! And, still brought home a large leftover portion. The flavors burst! The appearance/presentation: is beauty in a bowl! The staff is so friendly, kind, considerate, sincere...there's so much more I could rave about these beautiful souls! Dedicated to their craft, for sure.Tip them very well, please?Worth every penny. You'll leave, wanting to schedule your next visit already. It's just that good. The egg rolls are sensational! The Pho...give them all a try!Dietary restrictions: They do their utmost to accommodate. So many options available. Please, always check with staff for cross-contamination? It's on you, if you fail to advocate for yourself.Kid-friendliness: Family-friendly atmosphere.Eclectic background music ambiance.“
“I have a lot of food allergies that often make it difficult for me to eat out. Thai Orchid Cafe was wonderful with taking the time to ask additional questions to clarify what I can and can’t eat. You can also tell that their ingredients are very fresh and was overall super delicious!!“
“Their food is great and that is why I dine in here almost everyday but terrible service with their new servers who provides you with a rush service and accussed me to be very demanding and picky when I only asked to honor the price that they advertised on their lunch menu. Their lunch supposed to come with a soup or a choice of fresh or fried spring roll but the server who took my order charged me with the dinner price and the soup as well so I questioned that but both servers retaliated and told me that it was past lunch time hours when they handed me my check so they can't changed the price although I ordered my food during lunch time hours and from the lunch menu. I'm their regular customer so I know abbout it for few years now. Also, they refused to refill my child's drink and that was very rude and I was very hurt for my daughter and that pushed me to express my worse experienced so far with this restaurant involving with their servers attitude.“
“Easily the best boba we’ve had in buffalo. You can trust this review because we currently live in DC, a boba hot spot on par with Boston and NYC. Most people in buffalo have no idea what real good boba is supposed to taste like (TBH lol).We got the matcha and taro boba, and avocado smoothie. Matcha is good, and taro is best one in the area. The boba is a good consistency. It is medium soft on the softness scale, which is perfectly fine. Less experienced boba drinkers assume boba has to be extra soft and gooey, but it is actually a store and drinker preference. Tapioca boba can be super gooey OR more stiff jelly like, with a clear line between jelly like and stale, and this shop leans towards gooey but only slightly so that it is a medium soft and still chewy; right in the safe zone as most people prefer this. The smoothie was authentic as it gets for viet style… extremely nostalgic for me when I had it lots as a kid.Pro tip: adjust the sugar as needed. 50-70% sugar is the norm in the boba scene but most Americans and boba beginners may want 70-100% sweetness. We got 50%. Pay to enjoy the texture and flavor, not the sugar! Having good taste even at 50% sugar further demonstrates the strong boba fundamentals that this place has. No hiding behind sugar!Update: Went there a second time and the quality is consistent with our first time!“
“I ordered from Pho Cafe two days in a row and I must say the food is seriously delicious! Fresh and ready for pick up! I had the beef pho and have to rate it a perfect 10! Very impressed and I will be coming here for a very long time!! Thank you very much!!!!!“
“This place has an absolutely ginormous menu of options and typically that would make me take a pause on how good it might actually be. But everything I tried and everything my friends ordered looked and tasted delicious! I got the spring rolls as well as their Chicken Pad Thai, and both of them were quite delicious and well portioned. The peanut sauce that came with the spring rolls tasted fresh and really helped the flavor pop. Definitely looking forward to a return visit just to try many more things on the menu.“
“I went for a birthday dinner with friends and all things considered regarding service and wait times, was a good dining experience. For context, we were a large party of 10 people and there appear to be only one server for the entire restaurant while there. So we had delays for getting beverages beyond water and possibly the food but on that I’m not 100% sure if it just takes a while to prep or they were focus on bringing them all that is close together for the entire party. For my main meal, I got the Birdsnest with chicken, which was a dry noodle dish that resembled something of a bird's nest . It was surprisingly flavorful, but did not look very visually appealing. I must say, haha. As an appetizer, I got the steamed bun, which I wasn’t a big fan of how it was prepared but that was just my personal preference compared to other ones I’ve had in the area with the meat cooked differently inside. I also got a mango bubble tea substituted with jellies which was good as well. our server was very diligent, but clearly busy with our group as well as the other customers, so I can’t really fault him for how some of the service experience felt especially omce we eventually got some water pitchers to keep on the table so we didn’t have to keep asking him for refills.“
“I've noticed that there is quite a lot of Viet restaurants around. I thought I'd give a few of them a try. Granted I didn't order any pho. So if you want to read about that you'll have to skip over. I was a bit surprise on the rating scale of this spot vs another where they had high ratings. I don't know about you. But this place is clearly the winner. The porkchop over rice hit the spot! I honestly can't remember the last time I had a good viet porkchop. The flavors, the tender meat and the side of pickle veggies had a great balance. The WINGS. Now THIS guy knows how to bread/fry the wings. Crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. Legit asian style fried wings. I only highlight this as I wrote a previous review that disappointed me in so many levels. As for the fried Squid. It was alright. The crisp is there but the squid tasted like the frozen kinds that has no real "squid" flavor. But crunchin on em was still equally pleasing with the sauce given. Although the fish sauce would've been a better choice for dipping but that's just my opinion.“
“Food is always delicious here. I've been here for lunch and dinner, we've also had food delivered to us and we've never had an issue. Lots of vegetarian/vegan and gluten free options. The only problem is it's ALWAYS cold in there and dark. Lunch, dark. Dinner, dark. I'm not that old but it is DARK in there. I'll still continue to go back!“
“Got egg rolls, bbh (#9), Viet coffee and the signature drink. The bbh was to die for Im obsessed. The red cabbage was a good addition and gave the soup a nice texture. The Viet coffee was amazing! They add coffee jelly and salted cream and it was out of this world. Signature drink was also very tasty w all the toppings. (Rainbow jelly chia seeds kumquat and PEBBLE ICE) tasted like a upgraded lemonade Over all 10/10 I already can’t wait to come back“
