My personal favorites are the samsa and Afghan bread, but today, after my workout, I decided to try the plov. For $22, I got plov, salad, bread, and tea. The portion was so generous and filling that I could barely talk afterward! Everything was delicious, satisfying, and tasted homemade. I also want to give a special shout-out to the staff. They are always friendly, welcoming, and polite, greeting you with a smile every time you walk in. You can really feel the hospitality here. My little tip: if you want to enjoy a great selection of freshly prepared food, try stopping by around noon to 1 PM. I especially love the atmosphere in the morning and around lunchtime. “I ordered online, and everything arrived fresh and beautifully prepared. The sushi was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh. You could really taste the freshness of the fish, they were tender, buttery, and full of flavor. I love it!!!!!!!!!!

The beef with Chinese broccoli was also excellent. The beef was tender and flavorful, the Chinese broccoli was crisp and fresh, and the sauce was rich and savory without being too heavy. My daughter especially loves the beef with Chinese broccoli — it’s one of her favorite dishes!

Overall, everything was fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. I would definitely order again!“

“Finally had the opportunity to come to this place. I would like to start off with the service. When we arrived it was packed which we were not surprised. The lady at the front was very friendly. But our server not so much, i get people have off days but we did not feel welcomed. We ordered ceviche, white rice and beans & the chicharron de pollo. As someone that loves ceviche this was not the greatest ceviche i have ever had. The apples and celery threw me off but the reason why it was not great is because the juice had that seafood tate rather than the lime zesty taste. The rice and beans were amazing!! Perfect texture and taste. The chicharron de pollo is the best chicharron i have ever had. My husband and I literally locked eyes on the first bite. It was juicy and had the perfect crunch and taste. I went on a Sunday and there was plenty of parking but I am sure it would be more difficult on a weekday until after 6pm when street parking becomes available. The burger and fries very solid, the el mensajero drink was excellent, I had some toast with ricotta, honey and almonds that was really good as well. It wasnt very crowded but the space is awesome I would like to go back on one of their event days. Overall good experience will come back for sure.“

Drinks were good depending on who made it. 2 friends ordered the same drink. One was presentable with a pineapple, mint, and an umbrella. The other just got the beverage, no razzle dazzle. Tasted the same, but presentation matters.“

“Caught a live tuna cutting show today 🐟🔪 This tuna was massive — around 350 lbs. Watching the chef break it down right in front of you was such a show before the meal even started.

Then the taste test… the tuna literally melted in my mouth. You could tell it was fresh off the cut — sweet, clean, zero fishiness.

“What a modern, healthy take on congee! I loved the different condiments that came with it. The olive vegetables, bamboo, fermented curd, and century egg were my favorites. Took me right back to childhood. The fermented curd is delicious but definitely pungent, so a little goes a long way!

The pickled plum soda was really refreshing, and the rice wine and rice bubbly pairings really brought out the flavors of the food while keeping with the whole rice theme.

Also loved the black and white rice dessert at the end. Really thoughtful dinner meal from start to finish. Layla is a fantastic host and so is her team. Definitely 5 stars!“

“Ordered the Shrimp Mandu and Spiced Lamb Chops to start, then split the Oxtail Lo Mein with my girlfriend. Every dish brought something different to the table. The lamb chops were perfectly crisp and juicy, the mandu was a clever marriage of Jamaican and Korean flavors, and the lo mein was rich, silky and loaded with tender oxtail.

Cheesecake for dessert was the perfect finish.
