“The chicken was truly enjoyable, and I appreciate the effort put into the preparation. Perhaps a touch more salt for myself would have been perfect. I found the dish to be satisfying overall, with a delightful texture. The culinary experience presented was certainly a positive one. Furthermore, I would really enjoy just a cuttlefish dish. It would be a welcome addition to the menu. I am looking forward to future dining experiences.“

“In this building on the lower floor is where an
Underground of the most delicious food in Brooklyn. Booths, tables, It’s a city of Food by itself and some of these dishes are just delicious. And that is what I found in Hana. During the late 70s and early 80s I would go to Chinatown in New York City to get delicious food. then stores open up in Brooklyn, mom and pops Chinese food and I liked it but I didn’t love it. It was just too fast. I came to New Jersey,to visit and we ordered Chinese food from a place called Chinatown Resturant and I thought that I had walked into the 80s. The food was so good. Last week Sunday I went to downtown Brooklyn to the market. I didn’t know what to choose because it was so many vendors ,foodies. I decided to eat Asian food and I stopped by this small room of four people behind this booth ordered shrimp and rice. They gave me so much. I didn’t think I could eat it but it was so fantastic so 1978 1987. That’s how good it was. It was original Asian food, Chinese food.
I don’t know what else to say to you, because thinking about it and not being able to go there at this moment, it really hurts my feelings. It was the texture. The shrimp popped in my mouth. It was not dry and not wet and it was very hot from the skillet and the smell of it the amount of money which was probably $13 for the huge container she gave me I took one more bite and I said he’ll with it. I’m eating it all.
This is not something that you go home in Brooklyn and go back-and-forth to the refrigerator. Just trying to finish it. I’m finishing it right now and I did , and I’m happy and that’s why I’m sending you there because I know you’re gonna love it. Trust me on this one they know what they’re doing.

Vegetarian options: There are many stores in this building and there are places where you can get vegan food, but I did not go as far this time as I wanted to walk around please go there and see for yourself

Kid-friendliness: It’s a wide-open space and there are a lot of stores in this building and there are family places to sit on benches with tables, something like picnic tables so there’s no problem for children there they’re welcome

Wheelchair accessibility: From the street level there are elevators where are people who have wheelchairs or canes can come right up on the elevator and go wherever they like in the building“

“They take res via Yelp, FYI! We did a walk in for a party of 2 at 3pm on a rainy day and it was pretty empty. I had to wait for my friend and was allowed to sit and wait for her at our table. Staff here is very attentive and friendly.

The Pho here is more so like Northern pho, with the fatter vermicelli noodles. I enjoyed my Beef Pho and the broth was good. I was asked if I wanted fresh noodles or not, which was a question I was never asked at other viet spots before. I requested fresh noodles, which were a bit softer in my broth. Their fresh noodles are made daily vs their other kind of noodles made a day before - idk how much of a difference it would've been toh.

We also got their Spring Rolls to share, which were standard. It also came with pickled radishes on the side, which were nice and crunchy.

Overall, a decent neighborhood spot with good, yummy options. I've tried other apps here before (Banh Xeo and Chicken Wings) and they were great as well. Would recommend to others for a comfortable meal.“

“Great to have some solid momos in the area!
Came on a Saturday night and we sat down right away. The servers were very friendly and took the time to explain each part of the Thali we got.

Food:
- veg thali (4/5) - this is definitely a good bang for your buck, given that you can ask for refills. My favorite was the pea dish.
- veg jhol mojos (4.5/5) - nice deep flavor, the momos were solid. I’d be curious to try the chili ones and the fried ones next time.
- mango lassi (5/5) - everything you want mango lassi to be.

The vibe was pretty causal and they have a few tables for sit down“

“We come here every Sunday for brunch before hitting up the farmers market. It’s the perfect execution of comfort food that doesn’t make you feel heavy after.

The dim sum menu is small but has all the favorites, and they do it really well. Their congee is my favorite and great for hangovers. Both chicken and veggie versions are clean yet flavorful. Dumplings are juicy and have a nice skin that’s not too thick but thick enough (giggidy).

Veggie dishes are bomb. Honestly everything is tasty and priced well. The restaurant is small but not cramped. It allows the service to be more attentive. This place good I like.“

“After I tried Maxi’s, quite a few people recommended Superior Wonton Noodle, so I decided to check it out—especially since it’s right in my neighborhood.

Are their wontons really better than Maxi’s?

Quick verdict: their shrimp wontons are truly SUPERIOR, closely on par with Maxi’s. I even brought home a dozen frozen ones. However, both the beef brisket and flat rice noodles were underwhelming.

However, I still prefer Maxi’s for overall quality, but Superior is more affordable. I’d recommend it if you’re in the area. (86 St is my all-time favorite area for authentic Hong Kong food)

*Wonton and Beef Brisket Rice Noodle $11
I ordered the same thing I got at Maxi’s, and it was a few dollars cheaper here, mainly because you don’t have to pay extra for the beef brisket.

The wonton was about the size of a ping pong, generously stuffed with shrimp and pork filling. The shrimp was bouncy, while the wonton skin was not too thick.

Unfortunately, the beef brisket was quite tough, so I didn’t finish it. I’ll probably try the beef tendon next time…

The flat rice noodles were a letdown—they were so soggy and mushy that I had to use a spoon to scoop them up. Meanwhile, my boyfriend got the thick egg noodles, and they looked much better with a springy texture.“

“All the other Ichiran locations had ridiculously long lines 🍜, so we drove out to this one in Brooklyn. This spot only offers one type of ramen — perfect for the indecisive 😅 — though the menu overall is pretty limited.

The price is about $30 per person, which is fairly normal for NYC 💸. As for the taste: not bad at all, but definitely not worth a super long wait. The broth was the best part — rich but not greasy, really flavorful 👍.

There were two kinds of pork: one served in the soup, and the other on a separate plate. The one on the plate was much tastier 🥩, while the one in the soup had a really strong, almost unpleasant smell 🤢.

Overall, it’s worth a visit if you’re nearby and want to avoid long lines, but not a must-visit spot unless you’re in the area 📍.“
