She was very informative and knowledgeable on any deals and explained them and overall was one of the best servers I have had at this bww. Would for sure come back.“

We did have one miss: the ribs were too fatty for our taste. But here's where Lingo service stepped in. Without any fuss, they took the dish off the bill and were so gracious about it. That kind of hospitality is rare and says a lot about how they run their restaurant.

Every dish was honestly great, so excited to go back to try their other stuff, but the beef longganisa and ube ko achar I would def order again in a heartbeat. The sauce for the gnocchi and the skewer were 10/10. Also, their Green Leaf drink with pandan - SO GOOD.

My favorite desserts are literally silvanas and cheese ice cream, so it’s def their own version of these classic Filipino desserts, but satisfied with how they interpreted them.

Sebastian Burger & Fries

As I was passing by, I spotted their sidewalk billboard, which mentioned Guy Fieri highly praising their burgers. I was instantly convinced right then and there to give this bar a try!

This burger was topped with American cheese and caramelized onions on a soft bun. The medium cooked patty is made with prime aged beef.

As a bonus, french fries are also included with the burger.

Guy Fieri was definitely right about this perfectly compacted sandwich that I cleared down to the last bite.

We've been staying in the Franklin Guesthouse (hotel adjacent to Madre) for a couple of nights and decided to give Madre a shot - boy were we in for a treat! Firstly, shout out to Armando, who made us feel immediately welcomed with his warmth and energy! For food, we got the Frutti di Mare, Croquetas, Brussels Sprouts, Cornbread Madeleines (compliments from chef) and Chicken - massive MASSIVE props to Chef Bryan and his very talented team. To say that they cooked "well" would be the understatement of 2022. They absolutely blew our minds with top quality medley of ingredients, depth of flavor, and masterful execution in every way. Cocktails were fun and delectable, which added the perfect "pop" to the culinary rocket ship that Madre served up. Just when my wife and I were ready to call it a night, Chef Bryan and Armando were kind enough to bring out the Pot de Creme for us, which was the bow and ribbon on this very special dinner. “Solid breakfast burritos and great tortillas, which are like gold here. I haven’t tried anything else on the menu yet, but it’s just a matter of time - the salads look awesome. I moved here from Texas a year ago and love everything about the city (except for the rent), but I do miss Tex Mex and good tortillas. New Mexican is its own cuisine and sure hits the spot while also being healthier, and those tortillas are a game changer. So glad to have found this place, just had breakfast from here, and am already looking forward to going back.“

On the recommendation of our server, Tom, we ordered the sunchokes for an appetizer and cheeseburger and risotto for mains. Favorite bite of the night were the sunchokes with fresh parm and pepper sauce. The cheeseburger and risotto were also outstanding and generously portioned. For dessert, our server recommended an unforgettable parsnip sponge cake with a decadent heap of cream cheese buttercream. The knowledgeable and friendly service made the dining experience warm and welcoming. I’ll be back!“

“This is what we call “fine dining.” We did not reserve the main dining room, as one of our party did not care for prix fixe. We opted for the lounge as you can have from the menu or prix fixe. When you first arrive, you are greeted by a pleasant hat/coat check lady. We arrived early and said we would wait for the other couple and were invited to wait in the intimate cocktail area. The cocktails were superb and served with a house-made cocktail snack. When the guests of the party arrived, we were escorted to the lounge area. An intimate area with about six to eight tables. After being seated and greeted by the head server (maître d' or captain), who explained our options, we all opted for the menu. After looking at all the choices, we decided to split two appetizers. Even though the number of items on each choice was uneven, the server said, “Let me take care of it". And then beautifully presented plates arrived with equal portions. And it only got better from there. The entrées were each explained in detail, including their origins and how they were prepared. I could go on and on. The fish, beef, duck breast, and pork were everything we expected and more. We all commented, maybe the best we have had. The house made desserts were perfect. I had possibly the best cheese plate I have ever had. The entire staff of servers were professionals and enhanced the evening. The most disappointing part of the evening was when a guest entering the dining room (after removing his overcoat) came in dressed in Dockers and a short-sleeve polo. This is an insult to the owner, the chef, and the entire staff at this fine restaurant. But maybe he was an elite or a “special” person. We all said we would be back.“

“Nice little Bar/Restaurant within walking distance from the Museum of Natural History. Outdoor seated is covered to keep diners out of the sun or rain. Tables are very small, not ideal for big parties or for families with strollers.

Drinks (The Dude) were very well made (strong!) and Downeast Cider on tap was an added bonus.

Bathrooms are small but clean and sufficient.

Double Smash burger was smaller than expected but it was very tasty as were the fries that came with it. Hot honey chicken sandwich was delicious (bigger than the burger) and the truffle fries were very flavorful.“
