“Great sandwiches. Good staff. Great hot food. But the prices are unaffordable and at this point as much as I love the food, I won't return ever. Ordered 2 heros. Philly cheese steak and a chicken cutlet hero fresh mutz. 1 order of lasagna about 5 inch square and a tiny rice pudding.
Total price 55 dollars.
Sigh. Smh.
Great store. Great food.
But like I said , absolutely unaffordable
Good things never last.

“The spinach mascarpone pasta was 10/10 the flavor was incredible! I would actually skip the ricotta toast- I wasn’t impressed. The rest was good, the squash pasta was another standout.
We were a tad rushed for a table of four, the rest of the pastas were OK (Ragu was a tad salty), good wine selection and cocktails were delicious all in all, 3.5-4/5!“

“A cozy and busy place on a cold Wednesday night. The service was good but not super attentive—we had to get the waiter’s attention a few time to refill our glasses. But the main reason why we came were the vey positive food reviews. The appetizers (burrata, oxtail) were indeed amazing but my Saltimbocca was very disappointing: dry meat, barely any sage, reheated potatoes.“

“Went last night for St. Valentine’s day, I must confess I ended up here by mistake, my reservation was in another restaurant across the street, but for some unknown reason I came here and it was amazing, my only regret was not being here before… Food was beyond amazing, the lasagna is a MUST! I have never had something like that before, would love to go back again.

I would think that on a busy day like this, service/food might not be the best, but they proved me wrong, staff was very nice,they didn’t take forever with our food, music was nice too.

Can’t wait to go and try the brunch one of these days…

PS: I tried the cucumber drink, which is alcohol free and it was also very good, the olive oil cake since the tiramisu had finished,it wasn’t bad but I bet they have better options for desserts.“

My boyfriend and I shared: Appetizers: -Seared scallops: I know right, scallops. Generic usually? But these were in an amazing sauce which was devoured with our side of bread. -Octopus carpaccio: Perfect amount of freshness to balance the rich scallops. Main: -The wood fired fish for two: they brought the fish out from the kitchen to show us the fish in flames and that was very cute and appreciated -Meatless Rigatoni: I seriously held on to this dish to the very last moments even though I didn’t have enough room to finish it lol I was obsessed with the sauce Dessert: - Panna Cotta: the balsamic reduction was something I did not expect with this dessert but it was magical“

“Solid neighborhood spot. The downstairs is more of a bar (but still serving real food), while upstairs is sit-down and family friendly. The orecchiette was tasty, and the pesto had a nice fresh flavor. The sopressetta and hot honey pizza was a great balance of flavors and a touch of heat. “We used to frequent the Astoria location which was always so great. The new Manhattan location is no different. Somewhat smaller, but just very cozy and very nice looking. Amazing food as always. The flavors and taste are just the best. No matter what you order you will not go wrong. The service is top notch and Rocco and his staff are just the best at what they do. Just go, you won't regret it.“

“The atmosphere and service were outstanding. We only went for desert and coffee. The chocolate cake was amazing. A couple we vacationed with has eaten dinner there 2 nights before and said how amazing the food was. One of the staff members even gave us a personal tour and history of the building. “Truly lovely experience all around. We were welcomed into this cozy spot by a friendly staff with Kimi taking extra care to make our evening pleasant. Seating is limited with reservations becoming necessary to guarantee a space, but honestly the space is the perfect set up for good conversation. The wine list was nicely curated—we chose the 2017 Super Tuscan, which was smooth, rich, and paired well across the meal. We began with the antipasto. The quality was immediately apparent... the prosciutto was buttery on the palate and the house pickled veggies added a bright, fresh note. For the mains, the cacio e pepe had the perfect creamy texture (I need the chef to teach me their ways for this!), well-balanced salt to black pepper, and good bite to the pasta. My husband was lucky enough to snag the final duck ragu special of the evening and (wow!) we're so glad to have done so. Perfectly cooked with tender meat and flavors that transported us right back to the osterias on the streets of Italy. We ended with the tiramisu (light and creamy) and a pistachio affogato, which did get a bit outshined. Hospitality was top notch here making this is a “must add” meal experience for your list. We will definitely be returning for more.“

“The food is top notch the very best,the baked clams are outstanding and you must dip with the bread the ravioli is to die for so creamy and fresh and try the seafood platter wow just enough seafood not over done.The price is on average with other red sauce restaurants.“

“Came here for lunch and it’s honestly a great place. Big table with plenty of room, some half-private cabins. During lunchtime, there is jazz background music. The place is a bit noisy.

The Caesar salad was made with fresh anchovies. And the cacio e pepe pasta was also really well made.

The waiters and the staff are very friendly. There is a special room for hanging your coats in case you’re coming in on a cold day.“

“It was such a treat to dine at Roman's in mid-October. I came on a rainy night, and the soft glow inside was inviting and warm. All of the food was delightful to the senses and DELICIOUS.

It would be hard to pick a favorite thing from the menu, since it was all so good (and since their menu updates all the time), but my table couldn't stop eating the Fava Bean Puree. All hail Chef Hannah and her team!

“We happened to be walking by on a Friday night and my husband pointed it out. Our pasta was fresh and delicious and served so quickly. The staff was beyond attentive and professional. The bathrooms were gorgeous and clean. It delivered on all aspects. We had Zeppole with lemon curd for dessert and it was unreal!“

We dined on a weekend evening, the restaurant was quite busy, but Valerio and the team were very kind and welcoming, and they accommodated us with short waiting. The ravioli were well cooked (al dente) and tasted delicious! We also tried their tiramisu and it was spectacular! The whole time we spent there we felt as we were in Italy, definitely recommended!“

“Went for a casual dinner at the bar after the movies. For a fancier experience I’d say book a table. The potatoes and spicy vodka were SO GOOD. Very simple meals done perfectly. Have tried to recreate the potatoes at home unsuccessfully. Will be back!“
