“I took my son to Empire Steak House for his 15th birthday, and overall it was a great experience. The service was amazing, attentive, welcoming, and made the night feel special from start to finish. The sides, mashed potatoes and baked potato, were just okay and could've used more flavor, even with butter, salt, and pepper. But the steak... absolutely incredible. Easily one of the best steaks in the city. Definitely a spot I'd return to for the quality of the meat and top-tier service.“

“Visited on Wednesday night to celebrate mine and my husbands wedding that day and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by lovely friendly staff. We were seated quickly and were introduced to our server. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was fantastic. We opted for the Korean bacon to start and we both had the butchers feast. Outstanding. The steak was beautiful and the dishes that came with it were amazing too. The short rib and egg soufflé were my favourite. at a friend’s recommendation. Our waiter Rowin was attentive, accommodating and made the experience delightful. We came at 6:30pm on a Friday and was surprised they had a reduced price “happy hour” for Margaritas and beer til 7.
We ordered the cheesy dip with bacon bits and chips as an appetizer and it was DELICIOUS!!! For dinner we had the smash burger and quesadilla with steak and mushrooms. Both were yummy. They have a good drink menu, though not too many wine choices. In addition to Rowin, I appreciated the attentiveness of the owner who stopped by as well as the bartender who made sure to greet us coming and going. I will definitely return.“

OMG where do I even start? The food is unreal and the staff is so classy! They literally treated us like royalty.
The Steak Frites was the best I’ve ever had—literally melted in my mouth. That Ribeye was cooked to perfection: crispy on the outside and super juicy inside. And don't even get me started on the mashed potatoes and spinach... I’ve never had mash that creamy in my entire life! No wonder the chef has a Michelin star!
We went for Restaurant Week; my husband got the lunch special and that Salmon Tartare was next level. Even the bread, the butter, and the dessert were a total 10/10.
Seriously, you guys HAVE to check this place out. Worth every penny🔥

They made us feel welcome and I absolutely love their atmosphere. It was beautiful the server which we had. I wish I spelt his name correctly, but he was amazing and his vibe was beautiful then our bartender Susan she was outstanding. She mainly came over and really interacted with the men that were my boyfriend‘s friends. She was beautiful along with the server. They are both needed at that restaurant and I can't imagine how many more beautiful people they have in that restaurant then we ended up meeting that night not too sure if he's the owner, but his name is Giovanni. He was amazing. I was very honored to be in his presence and also honored to be at this beautiful location 10 out of 10 deck definitely recommend.“

“My family and I dined here after a Broadway play as part of our birthday celebration for my wife.

The server and sommelier made it a point to make our experience special and started off our meal with a glass of champagne. Our server, Ben, was excellent and walked us through the menu choices and helped with a few selections and then took great care of us throughout the evening.

The Sommelier, Jazz, helped us pick the perfect bottle of wine based on our wine preferences and within the budget we gave him. He checked back in several times to make sure we were happy with the wine and the meal.

Everything we ordered was excellent, Hamachi, Steak Tartare, Filet, Wagyu Rib Cap, cocktails and desert. We loved it all! When Jonathan, the General Manager, stopped by to say hello and check on us we told him we no longer have to search for a favorite steak house, we just found it.“

“We visited this restaurant this past Saturday and even tho we just gave them a call 40 mins prior arriving, they accommodated us- no wait time. The staff is very attentive, friendly and warm. Every single one of them. We went there with a 4month old and i was a little skeptical but our server, Ali, and Alessandro went above and beyond to make us feel as comfortable as possible and answer to all of our needs and requests.
I loved their pizza, brings you right back to Italy, like rarely you can find in NJ. And the tiramisu!!! OMG!! The best one i have ever had in my whole life!! Definitely will be back!

“The Capital Grille is a special place for me. It was my first great American steakhouse where I was introduced to the science of steaks. It happened many years ago, and since then I've been to many great steakhouses, but Capital Grille will always be a special one for me.
So when deciding on a place to celebrate 3 birthdays with my girlfriends, the Capital Grille was a no-brainer. And it didn't disappoint.
Everything was great - service, food, ambiance. I personally love their wedge salad. It's not a complicated salad, but they do it specifically well.
Our steaks were cooked perfectly as we ordered. The wague fillet mignon was out of this world good. Truffle parmesan fries hit the right spot.
A complimentary dessert was a cherry 🍒 on top.

“Came here with my parents while they were in town and it was a highlight of the trip. Jorge and Nikka were out servers abs they went above and beyond. The food was amazing! We had the rib cap, sea bass, and lamb chops, with mashed potatoes, Caesar salad, Brussel sprouts, and baked potato, and it was all exquisite. The Basque cheesecake was a recommendation we loved, even though we were so full! We'll definitely return and recommend this restaurant to others.“

Visited for my son's annual birthday trip to the city and picked Royal 35 for its diverse menu of great cuts and sides. My son loved the lobster tail/filet surf and turf and I got the bone-in rib eye. My steak was big and tasty but just a tad fattier than I prefer. German potatoes, mac and cheese (cheesy with a unique smokiness), creamed spinach, and mushrooms were awesome choices as sides. We don't drink so no comments for the wine connoisseurs out there. A surprise piece of birthday cheesecake for my son's special day was a nice final touch. Dinner was very pricey, but hey we're at a Manhattan steakhouse. Would definitely go back.“
